I love it when the joints are nice and tight. The reason i love tight joints is because they're strong enough to hold poses.

I think by tight the guy means hard to move, where you have to put a bit of force into moving each joint. That is a big problem if you are trying to make a stop motion animation with them.

Maybe it's just me, but I miss the old days when figure joints weren't overly tight or overly loose.
Seriously, I've been trying to swap hands on my PR Lightning Collection figures, but I can't seem to remove them.
And with all the QC issues many PR fans have reported, I don't wanna risk breaking my figures when posing them.

Ha! I had the same issue with my bootleg Mafex Spider-Man (no way I'm buying official releases from them anymore), but I used dish soap to fix Spidey's legs and biceps.

How do you use it if it's the joint to rotate the arm forward do you just put it in the oil in the shouldar and butterfly joint
Got the new Marvel Legends Infinity Saga Iron Man MK III and his arm/shoulder rotation joint was totally frozen. Was afraid I'd shear it off. Heating it would loosen it up, but only until it cooled then seized up again. Heated it and added some of the 100% silicone lube and it's not frozen up again, even after cooling. Thank you for this.
ah rip could it not move forward? i think thats the same issue i have with my infinity saga mk 21 ive heated it up it moves a little bit but not really and when it cools down its just stuck. i dont wanna break him so ill try this

can i just use regular silicone spray or does it have to be silicone shock oil
If the spray has petroleum distillate, avoid it. It will melt your plastic slowly

Is there a way to fix a frozen joint? I have a custom Base Form Android 21 but one of the ankle joints got glue in it.
You can try super glue debonder. But most of the time it does not work

Depends on the glue. Did someone put super glue in it? Or was it like that straight from the box? If straight from the box hot water will loosen most glues, but super glue is tough to remove.
Dstar01 it might be glued or cement that got into the joint as it was being customized. I’m trying to see if I can source just the joint without having to buy a doner figure

If you check the label and it has petroleum distillate then it can ruin paint.

I do that too. But 1 st I heat the joint with hot water to make the joints malleable, then I squeeze them so they are tight, and then freeze them.

During the video you were talking about RC shock oil being an alternative. Is there a specific brand and/or type that you recommend? You also briefly mentioned density. Is the recommended density number still 100?

My spider man’s peg broke of at the hand and it’s stuck in the hand
I’m not to sure if this work but maybe you could get like a twist tie from sliced bread, and take off the paper and heat up the metal part. Then use the heated up metal stick and poke it into the broken peg and let it cool down and pull it out. Maybe look up a video of how to do it to see if the method actually works
