Thank you for your comments, we will work hard to bring more outstanding products!🎮
It's a great effort @ManbaGame with much to like, you're off to great things with releases like these. Keep 'em coming, Cheers!
@Dead-0-Zone I personally did not sense any algorithms at play, nor did I see anything when benchmarking the resolution to suggest there is any. That is using the default preset of course. Hopefully Manba will be able to confirm, cheers!
Finally found a good channel for controller reviews, thanks, keep it up. This one seems really good especially at this price point, will probably be the next one I buy
Well, with a bit of luck, you’ll win one instead! Thanks for watching 😊
Gamer Heaven also does a really good job when it comes to controller reviews. That's who I usually use when it comes to controller reviews but so far I haven't seen a video for this controller by him yet. I currently use the Gamesir G7 SE and I love it but I wish it had 4 back buttons instead of just the 2 and I of course wish it was bigger for man size hands kinda like my Thrustmaster eSwap Pro but that doesn't use Hall Effect Joysticks unfortunately. This would be my next controller if it had the volume options built into the controller like my Gamesir has. You can not only adjust the main volume but you can also adjust the game slider volume from game to voice chat which is almost a deal breaker for me since I use everything wired. I hate running out of charged batteries and don't like any input lag which they pretty much have finally fixed that issue when it comes to wireless stuff but I'm still old school when it comes to that. Can you use this controller plugged in? I guess I should continue watching the video to see if that was mentioned lol. I'm thinking about getting one of these for mobile gaming so wired doesn't really matter but I would still like to know. Since it doesn't have the volume controls built into it I don't think it will be my replacement for my Xbox X yet though. Someday I'll find my unicorn controller I'm looking for
@@cujoman187 Yeah, I've recently bumped into Gamer Heaven's content, I like his stuff, we have very different types of content and I must say, his videos are very thorough.
This controller definitely works wired, in fact it lets you change between x-input and d-input when you do instead of Switch Mode, PC mode, etc.... It doesn't work for Xbox Series X, that is of course unless you use a converter after which I don't see why it wouldn't, being that it supports X-input and spoofs an Xbox controller. Cheers and good luck!
Guess I'm confused. It doesn't work for Xbox Series X?
Oh is that cause it's not Xbox certified? Well that and cause I think it has a turbo button which I don't think Xbox would be ok with. Well certain games like PUBG wouldn't be ok with I guess.
love whatever LUT you're using on your camera footage
😮😮😮 Woohhh!! Not only do I have YT royalty commenting on my vid, my color grading has never been complimented before!! Thanks, that's really REALLY awesome to read, I love your comedy btw!
The Goose!
Goosey!!
This is exactly what I've been looking for. Been wanting a somewhat elite controller but couldn't justify the price. Great work on your vids!
Yeah, they really nailed a great balance overall, I think this controller will be on the radar of many people! Thanks for engaging and good luck!
A very informative review, thank you, i would really want to tryout this controller.
Glad it was helpful! Cheers and good luck :)
Thanks for the review! Hadn't seen that controller and looks really interesting. Also, it was definitely worth it subscribing a few months ago, extremely great quality videos!
Well thank you! I'm glad you see value still from having subbed a few months back. Cheers and good luck!
That’s pretty sweet! Thanks for the review.
You bet, thanks for watching and good luck!
Love me some algorithm, first time viewer and happy to find another tech channel covering dtuff i sctuelly care about!
Well thank you! 🙏 It does feel extra good knowing my stuff holds value. Thank you again and good luck for the giveaway!
I am such a sucker for clear plastic. Hits a special nostalgia for some reason
Gameboys
Totally! I have a particular spot for slightly frosted clear shells too! Anything with a bit of see-through just brings me back really!
Yeah at first I added the black one to my cart on Amazon then after I was looking at the pics and noticed it's not a black see through case like the white one I was like nope. Deleted that one and put the clear one in my cart. I wonder how the clear cover would look on the black one?
@@cujoman187 Ouff... I don't know but I always assumed that beneath the black shell, the controller was silver like it is in the clear one, if not, that oughta be a very sexy controller indeed!!
Yeah for sure!
Looks dope!
Great video ! Love the channel
I Appreciate that, thanks and good luck!
Let's go came from the nova review and stayed, love this channel for controller reviews.
Thanks, that means a lot! Good luck for the giveaway!
Excellent review. Immediately subscribed after the RH podcast.
Thank you! 😊
Been subscribed ever since I saw you gpd review and mods and absolutely loved it but I'll tell you what I'll love even more winning one of them sweet controllers
Keep up the amazing work man
Thanks and good luck!
great review!
Thanks and good luck!
good info thanks, do the polling rate go past 250hz, if not still not bad. thanks again
Not by default or without alterations at least. I did try overclocking on two different host controllers of my PC to no avail so for now, I'd say 250hz is the max but results may vary and overclocking might be possible with the right combination of equipment.
I would absolutely love one of those honestly could be the future of controller gameplay
Well in that case, I'll be wishing you good luck! Thanks for watching 😊
@@GameTechTalk thank you
Awesome review, short concise, and straight to the point 😊
Exactly the format I'm going for, thanks! ☺
I was gonna ask about the polling rate, but you ended up covering it near the end of the video. The black one looks nice and sleek! Commenting to throw my hat in the ring. :)
As it turns out, that polling rate was a late "non-scripted" addition as I had forgotten! Glad adding it served its purpose! Good luck

Great review and awesome controller for the price.
Thanks, greatly appreciate and good luck!
That's a pretty dope controller, really feeling the slick white.
It definitely has that look to it! Thanks for watching and good luck!

It's a great controller and the video. Can you confirm whether we have all the buttons in switch pro controller?
Thank you very much! Yes you do and the 4 extra paddles to remap buttons for easier access.
I currently use the Gamesir G7 SE and I love it but I wish it had 4 back buttons instead of just the 2 and I of course wish it was bigger for man size hands kinda like my Thrustmaster eSwap Pro but that doesn't use Hall Effect Joysticks unfortunately and it wasn't really even big enough. I don't know if your main use-case is PC but if so, when playing Steam titles, it's an easter egg that not many know about but you can control your volume with Home + Right Stick Up/Down (if I recall). But yeah, if you were looking for a volume slider for a console or even mobile phone, you're out of luck. Push comes to shove, you can always try it from Amazon and as they have a great return policy, you'll be safe to do as you see fit.
In my opinion, one of the stronger aspects of this controller is definitely the ergonomics, if that speaks to you, it might be worth a try!
Hi, can you suggest the best Android/Windows controller?? Also you could have just said 8bitdo Ultimate.
Best Android + Windows controller would be Apex 4 and get it with the phone adapter mount. 8BitDo Ultimate is convenient but I have a very different opinion than most ones online which is that the Ultimate is a fall from grace for 8BitDo. It's not a bad controller by any means but it's nowhere near as good as people give it credit for imho, performance wise that is. Feature wise, it's good, not great.
@@GameTechTalk thank you 🙏😊
Great review of this controller. BTW, your "Best PC Controllers in 2024! | 20 Tried and Tested" video was awesome. You have way too few subscribers for the work you do. How long did it take you to put together that video?
Thanks, the channel will get there in due time! Hmmm, quite some time but it wasn't that bad. A lot of that time went into research, testing the controllers but the editing was a relatively slim job compared to my more "curated" style of videos such as this review. So it balances out somehow. I like to diversify while staying on similar subjects, this way I can showcase different ways in which I can bring value to viewers (at least that's the goal). Cheers!
@@GameTechTalk Well, you're doing a great job. Keep it up. But that 20 controlller comparison video really went above and beyond! All the best!
Such a awesome controller if I don't win IL get it sometime
Yeah it's good stuff, good luck!
Nice value for the price
Sure is! Good luck btw :)
This controller looks pretty awesome, especially for the price.
Yeah it's pretty good, good luck!
You could do interesting things with a screen in a controller. Wonder if they will up theirs to developers.
Right? We're seeing this more and more, so far the best use of a screen is definitely Turtle Beach with the Stealth Ultra but even then, there is potential for a lot there!
The Manba controller looks like an excellent product. I think it surpasses the competition in the areas of shape, features and innovation.
I definitely can't fault a company for trying especially in a space so populated. And moreover, they are supporting this product and putting a real effort into putting it out. I'm really excited to see what Manba will have for us for the future but for now, the One is solid. Thanks for watching and good luck!
@@GameTechTalk The company is in China 🇨🇳
thinking of getting one of these to use in steam big picture mode. can the back buttons be mapped in steam input? (I know this bypasses the gimmick of this controller, but I would like to map the back paddles to keyboard keys)
Very few controllers will let you do what you described. Wall of text incoming.
While the back button can be remapped in Steam Input, the value from the controller itself will not change and the controller does not allow to remap it either. The paddles do not act as new buttons either, they are addressed (remapped) from within the controller as face buttons, shoulders, triggers, etc. In that sense, if you were to remap to keyboard keys (something the controller itself can’t do) that means you’d have to remap the button using external software such as Steam Input.
For example, you put A on paddle M1, you’d have to remap A to “Alt+Tab”. If that’s what you mean? You’re fine. But if you meant to leave your A functioning by default while also having the paddle for alt+tabbing as an example then that won’t work.
The only controller that comes to mind in recent times that you can do what my latter example described is the Flydigi Apex 4. I have a review on my channel, I strongly recommend it. Cheers!
@@GameTechTalk Thanks! I spent a good chunk of time the past couple of days trying to find a good controller to use with a docked steam deck (I am running windows on it). This particular bit of info (whether the back buttons can be mapped with steam input) is pretty difficult to find.
I ideally wanted:
- gryo controls
- back buttons
- button layout to match the deck
- controls can be mapped via steam input
Thanks for confirming the manba does not work with steam input.
I watched your video on the flydigi apex - very neat, I almost got one. However, I was a slightly deterred by having to download an extra program for mapping the back buttons, and from reading some other reviews, it sounds like the gryo isn't great.
I ended up grabbing a dualsense edge. This does everything I was looking for except the buttons don't match the deck layout.
I was even pleasantly surprised that the two front function buttons can be mapped as well, making up for the two extra back buttons the steam deck has.
Quick shoutout to the switch pro controller for being what I was using so far. It doesn't have back buttons, and you have to make a choice about whether you want mismatched button labels or having to futz with controls constantly, but the gryo works nicely.
Thanks again for the quick and accurate reply =]
@@gamebeats8988 My pleasure! I assume you already know but in case, the Dualsense Edge paddles can now be configured on PC using a software called DualsenseX! Cheers :)
@@gamebeats8988 If you still want controller ideas, the only one I can think of is the Gulikit KK3 MAX. With that controller you can remap the back paddles and other configurations you need from the own controller (make sure you conserve the manual cause you're gonna need it for the button combinations), and you can even physically change the button layout. However, I'm not sure whether if it is compatible with Steam Input and the controller has the issue on having high chances on being defective because of its poor QC (maybe that explains the low price it has). And about the last stuff mentioned, the last time I've heard about the QC thingy was when it was recently launched, I don't know if it as gotten a little better by now
@@feintexp-2530 Thanks! I've been pretty happy with the ps5 dual sense edge. only downsides so far are the battery life and the fact that it has triangle, square, etc, while the game has y, x, a, b - rather minor things
Does anybody know which adapters are compatible with the Apex 4 to game on the Xbox series X?
Unfortunately, I do not know but Gamer Heaven usually tests with one on his reviews if I recall. Cheers!
Lol I'm actually on his channel right now about it
def need a new controller, earned a sub too bud!
Thanks my guy! Good luck
Crazy lad. I'm not down with it but I'm interested for family or friends on a budget. Brilliant.
They did a good job at addressing a potential opening in the market, more "Elite" for less is something I can get behind if the quality is like this one at least. Good luck with the giveaway!
@@GameTechTalk Thanks lad!
Nice review! For the price point it could definitely be a good investment for multi platform uses.
Definitely and thanks for engaging! Good luck with the giveaway ⭐
250 polling rate and location of the start and select buttons is a no go for me. guess ima buy the king kong 3 then, thanks for the review!
Pleasure is all mine. Cheers!
how does it compare to the turtle beach stealth ultra?
We are looking at a 3 times the price controller but without a doubt the Stealth Ultra is superior. The dock can act as an antenna, it has a 3.5mm jack, it's got a software companion, it polls better as well though they are both capped at 250hz before overclocking. The on-board software on the SU is super snappy and it's got boatloads of features, it's really night and day. But from a value perspective? The Manba One is hard to beat. Cheers and good luck!
@@GameTechTalk thanks for your perspective, I guess there were more differences than I thought!
This is a pretty cool controller also it got a great price.
Yup, the value is pretty decent and the quality too! Thanks for engaging btw

Yeah it's pretty good! The giveaway winner has been selected at the count of 00:01, sorry. I do wish you better luck next time as there will be next times. Cheers and thanks for watching!
No worries great review still and keep up the great work
I wish we could put a wallpaper on the little screen
That would've been nice indeed!
A software update could do that I would think
Looks like a good product, but not to sure about the buttons on the bottom since they are just macros, not actually buttons.
Right, it’s almost always the case to be fair but there are a few exceptions out there that can fully map outside of the X-input drivers such as the Flydigi Apex 4.
As always 😉, hopes for the best
🤞 I already have a few more planned too but the fact I don’t do logistics on this one, it means it’s not limited to Canada/US, that’s fun!
If it had the ability to have extra virtual buttons on the screen and a keyboard mapping option it would be an instant buy
That would've been an awesome feature! I don't think we've seen a controller with a touch sensitive screen on it yet but you're comment got me excited about the day that we will! As for keyboard mapping, the one controller I can say for a fact that does this is the Apex 4 and I think the Vader 3? I would recommend confirming on the later as I do not have that one but I was told it has many of the features of the Apex 4. Cheers and thanks for engaging!
Oh man just read this and started thinking about a touchscreen controller where you can swipe to text. That would be a game changer when it comes to my fishing game Fishing Planet! When you place markers for your fish you have to enter anything you want within the space limit of course but man it takes forever! On mobile or my Android account it's not bad but on Xbox X man I hate having to do that. Instead of one of those little keyboard things that plug into the bottom of some controllers a touchscreen would be amazing with the swipe option! Then also have an app built into the controller to remap the buttons on the fly. So no leaving your game just to go to the controller developer's app to change stuff. Can anyone say game changer? Lol
It doesn't look like you can map thumb stick clicks. That's a deal breaker for me.
Ah, keen observation I hadn't even realized. Just to be clear, L3 and R3 can be remapped to any of the 4 back buttons. However, you cannot remap L3 and R3 to other buttons as you clarified. Cheers!
I'll be honest; I've never heard of this brand/manufacturer before. You certainly gave Mamba an excellent first impression with this review. Judging based solely off the first part of this review I thought this unit was going to be a whole lot more expensive than it turned out to be. Not that $70 is cheap, just that I expected it to cost well over a $100. More proof, I guess, that I should never be a contestant on "The Price Is Right".
That screen is something else. This is probably an odd comparison, but, eh, it reminds me of when Mopar (Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep) went from old school odometers to digital. How?
One neat thing about Mopars is that they have a built-in scan tool in the dash. Toggle the key on-off-on-off-on and it'll show you whatever trouble codes are in the computer. It's great for the home mechanic.
Anyways, old Mopars didn't have a digital display capable of showing the code. Instead it pulsed the check engine light and you had to count the flashes to get the number that corresponded to the code. Much fun, especially if you lost count and it was a multi digit number... I would never!
When they went to digital odometers in the late '90s it was great. Now they would show the whole code at once on the digital odometer display. It's so much more convenient. This Mamba is the same way. Most controllers have you count lights and remember arcane combinations, or trudge through a companion app. They're serviceable; but there's a better way. This one has the better way. It displays what you need in the most legible and accessible way possible.
Sorry for the wall of text. Not really. Something that is real is that I saw you on the RH Podcast earlier this evening. I thought you did a great job and I hope they have you back on again this year.
I laughed way harder than allowed at that shouldn't be a contestant on "The Price Is Right" bit.
As for Mopar, I'll be honest, I didn't even know this brand before you mentioned them but what you described had me think of something I saw in a documentary about McDonald's ice cream machines. (From cars to fast food, please don't ask)
I think it's the scan tool part, anywho, it's quite a fun documentary, a RUclipsr did it. Worth the watch if ever you feel like it! Thanks for that "wall of text" too, learning is always fun and reading what people have to say is my favorite part of being a RUclipsr!
Thanks greatly for the kind words, I know I ran into you too during that GameSir livestream when they launched the Nova and Nova Lite. Always a pleasure seeing a familiar name. Hoping to run into you during the next episodes, I usually hang in there if I'm not in the middle of editing. Cheers!
@@GameTechTalk - Mopar is, IIRC, a portmanteau of the words Motor Parts. It's been Chrysler's house brand for components and service parts for many years. A lot of people use Mopars to refer to all of Chrysler the Company's brands when they need to discuss them as a unit; Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, RAM, and formerly Plymouth and Eagle (RIP).
I'll need to check out that documentary. Maybe it'll tell me why McDonald's ice cream machines are never working! Is that a thing in Canada too, or just an American meme?
Their reputation for reliability is so bad that we even have a website called "McBroken" that is able to automatically ping the McDonald's app and then it tells you which stores have working machines and which came back as unavailable. Most of the ones local to me are working as of a few minutes ago; but, not the one out by the highway for some reason.
Any info on polling rate?
Nevermind I caught the end 250hz
250hz capped (no o/c) averages about 80% of polling rate so 200hz average. Latency is about on-par with other 250hz controllers. Tried overclocking to no avail on 2 different host controllers. Cheers! 😊

i have never used a controller with a screen
Well, we'll find out in a few minutes if you will for free! Good luck :)
¿can the screen be turned off
p.s: commendations on your energy / charisma
Well thank you greatly! Unfortunately, no the screen cannot be turned off. You can dim it quite a lot but if you like to play in a very dark room, you'll still see it a bit, I would argue though that it gets so faint that any other light source would easily overpower it at the lowest setting.
That's disappointing (as something that's draining battery with very little purpose, not so much 'cause of user experience), but definitely not a deal breaker.
Would like to change my controller and this seems a good controller minus the price well better stick with my trusty ps3 controller and scptoolkit :)

What do you mean on a “budget”? This costs more than a PS5 controller with way more features.
Well in the video I go in detail how the Manba is “elite” in its features, that’s the main difference. After, if the question is if I prefer Dualsense vs Manba One, my decision is easy but that’s not the point of this video is it? In fact, I have a 20 controllers match up for that kind of analytical piece if that’s what you’re looking for. Cheers!
This looks top quality. Been looking for a controller for my sister so we can play multiplayer together on the Steam Deck. Actually love the screen too. Very cool all round.
Oh that's awesome! Yeah it's a good controller, good luck to you!
