It is nice that Kratos made friends with the Norse god of war Týr, considering what happened with the Greek god of war Ares. This also makes me wish that Atreus got to meet the real Týr.

We ALL wish Atreus met the real Týr. He was supposed to be the Champion of the Jötnar, not Atreus. He’s literally half-God & half-Giant, just like Thor, except he’s the only Aesir the Giants ever trusted since he & Laufey the Just help the Giants escape Thor’s wrath. And yes:
He & Laufey worked together to hide the Jotunheim Tower.

Týr is the one person that could change Kratos’ point of view. He’s a God of War just like Kratos, but showed him he could be violent for beneficial reasons: To protect his friends, family, & himself. To wage war for justice & for what is right.
Violence is important. A harmless man is not a good man. A good man is a man capable of violence, but is peaceful. Only being violent when the time calls for it.

Here's how I imagine Tyr asking Sindri and Brok.
Tyr: Kratos, is it true Odin used my appearance to infiltrated your base?
    Kratos: Yes.
Tyr: And is it true you lost one of your own because of him?
Mimir: Aye. His name was Brok. He was stubborn dwarf all right but he was a good friend to us. His death hit us all but it devastated his brother Sindri the most. The worst part is that Brok died once before and Sindri managed to bring him back but his soul wasn't complete.
Tyr: And because of that missing part, your friend couldn't crossover to the Light of Alfheim and now a lost soul.
Mimir: Aye, and worst of all. Odin's act ruined Sindri's friendship with Kratos' son Atreus. He blamed the boy for letting Odin into his home. After we gave Brok a proper funeral, Sindri left without a farewell. No one knows where he went to.
Tyr: You don't think he'll plan something against your son, do you Kratos? It sounded like the two didn't get a chance to reconcile.
Kratos: No, he has nothing to gain by taking revenge on any of us. Yes, Sindri still blames my son for what happened but Atreus is not the one who murdered Brok. While Sindri may still be angry at my son, I believe he is angry with himself the most. And wherever he's at, he needs to be alone for now. Whether he plans to return or not is up to him.
Tyr: Then should your other friend ever return, I think it's best he and I never meet. Odin killed his brother using my appearance and he didn't know I was imprisoned. And if he saw me now...
Mimir: Aye, you're right....we never thought about that. But Tyr, don't blame yourself. Odin deceived us all and he has paid the price.
Tyr: Yes but the damage Odin has inflicted upon your friend is already done. I can only hope he can find peace, wherever he's at.

The Hercules that Kratos killed was either bewitched or a delusional imposter. Why else would this Hercules think it was Zeus who gave him his labors, and not his cousin King Eurystheus of Mycenae as penance for killing his family. A family whom he was bewitched to kill by Hera, which again, why would Hercules EVER side with Hera?

Tyr: The real reason why I can enter Valhalla has probably got something to do when I achieved enlightenment and arrived at Moksha... or was it Nirvana? Anyways, I managed to pull myself from the freedom from life.
Mimir: What is the cause there?
Kratos: Because Tyr has duties to fulfill. He can't be idle as his world is on the verge of collapsing in Odin's hands. The same when I chose the world over my daughter.
    Tyr: He already gets it.
Kratos: Tyr, why have you managed to be so calm and collected while being imprisoned for long?
Tyr: To be honest, Odin's impersonation of me is indeed true. I would've break the way he mocked me.
    Mimir: So, why didn't you?
Tyr: Because I took the time to work myself spiritually. Meditating and finding more within me.
Mimir: Impressive. Odin thought locking you up would stop you. Instead, you become stronger. Spiritually, at least.
Mimir: So, brother, what are the worlds outside look like?
Tyr: I'm gonna be honest. As far as I had experienced, I enjoy my times there in here during Odin's time.
Mimir: And why did you return when you enjoyed it there?
Tyr: Because this world we live in deserve much better. If those worlds get to have great lives, then we should not deny this world the chance. Especially with Odin gone.
Kratos: Then we shall rebuild it. Better than before.

depends on the source, one source says he is the son of Odin, other said he is the son of a Giant/Jötnar named Hymir.
but iirc in the game, his parentage was never specified, as is the case with Heimdall, Freya, Freyr, and Sif.
