I’ve been no contact for 8 months and I still wake up every day in shock about what happened. These videos are so spot on it’s insane. The girl I was with deserves actress of the millennium. I had no idea the cold blooded cruelty she was capable of until the mask slipped at the end. I saw glimpses and red flags but holy god… I really thought she loved me. In the end she cared nothing for me, broke me, devastated me out of nowhere and showed me no sympathy, empathy or remorse.
I’m so sorry. Yes , it’s true darkness. Not of God; Not your imagination. Don’t know how long you stayed in this relationship, But many people stay years…kiddos, family, economic….. I did 26 and in Divorce court now. Not Fun at All!!! But I leave my soul in The Lords hands, Letting him drive… & listening to Andrew Dr. Bashir and more on RUclips. I was determined to Let Go and move on. But Amdrew is right… when I made the decision to go NO CONTACT…. My healing and happiness was Happening! It is shocking the lengths they will go to destroy a person and for what? I've never understood that. They say they are moving on and never coming back and then spend all of their time attempting to ruin your life. Diabolical is the only word I have for it...and the triangulation is another level. After awhile something just breaks inside of you and you're done. You learn to let go and 'let them' and then it's really over. They don't own you, they can never have you again. Whatever scheme they come up with is just nonsense. Does it hurt and really damage your life in some way? Yes, but you still have a life and it's no longer with them. Eventually, you grow and learn and become a new person and they just stay the same with the same old games. You become that bright, shining light that Andrew is talking about and their hatred and tricks and tactics become sad and pathetic attempts to stay stuck.
I left him back in CA after 10 yrs of loosing my identity,my inner self. I work and have a cafe I enjoy frequenting. I practice presence which just means being where I am, not letting the mind trick me into thinking I need to be somewhere else. I’ve noticed the NRC cannot be where they are, always wanting to be somewhere else. It’s sad really.

It's easier than blocking or going no contact. All I had to say to him one day was literally "You couldn't pay me enough to sleep with you again." His ego was busted, he never heard that from me before, and he knew I was done for good.
I’m still waking up in the middle of the night with panic attacks or dreams of the abuse. But I’m only a month out. I’m praying it will go away in time. But right now we are in a legal battle so I can’t let it all go yet.

My father in law is pathetic-truly the worst human being I've ever known-I become physically ill in his presence. I won't be around him, ignore his hoovers and won't attend his funeral. He's a demon in the flesh and no one comes around any more, no one but his parentified son. You're right, it's no joke at all and I feel actual pity for the fool at times, but then I remember everything he did to us and I snap out of it. These creatures ALWAYS get what they deserve.

After our break up, one thing she said that was just wild to me was that “once she loved someone, she’d always love them”. She had her ex under her thumb throughout our entire 3 year relationship. Only cared about what she could use, take, consume and blame every single person and event rather than take accountability. I lived those 2 versions of who I was. Now I'm the 3rd version. The transformation, the indifferent healed person. I have good and bad days but at least I'm not in that relationship 20 years ago. My ex was still seeking out narcissistic feed and validation, on the merry go round of failed relationships. It is her fate and I feel a bit of pity for her, but never forgiveness nor will forget, only indifference. YES YES YES, you are so dam right, l never knew what a narsist was until l was stuck with one. The criticism of everything that l did, ate, drank, said, everything was attacked, it was crazy and l was too nice, l always backed down until I couldn't take it anymore. It took nearly 8 years of this abuse until I had to break free of it all. The lies, the nastiness, the control, his time table, everything. And now I've seen him with 2 different ladies and I'd love to offer them my experience with him but l know that they wouldn't believe me because he was very good at putting down and telling me how bad all of his previous partners were and silly me believed him and l know that he would be using the same behaviour to his new ladies. Hopefully they figure him out quicker than l did. My soft heart was exactly what he needed, like a meal to a lion lol. I'm free now, single and not at all interested in meeting anyone. Those are sticky memories. You're only human. If I push your buttons enough and if you don't react, you may be so far deep in the fog, you are numb. I gave up with Bizarro reasoning and arguments to maintain "peace." It didn't work. They'll sense the change and ramp up the abuse.I now place "emotional control" high on the list of ongoing "Works in progress." I accept, all narcissists do not bring out the best in you and all of the time, just the opposite.

Idk why he doesn't talk about it more, I think it's because he doesn't want to like... Idk promote it or something. Or maybe he doesn't have the words for that topic just yet. He has mentioned that he didn't "stoop as low" as them when he went through it, but he's aware of it happening as he mentioned in this video. You aren't alone I did it too, and definitely not proud of it, definitely apologized and was distraught about it, stills bothers me. They loved that I was guilt tripped by them. But the narcissist, didn't apologize ever for anything, ever... They never do. What's messed up about reactive abuse is when they smear campaign unfortunately they aren't lying, but they are lying because they aren't admitting they purposely took you out of your character by manipulating you to get you there. I can't stand them. I hope every narc runs into a psychopath that not gonna play their games. I have no sympathy for narcissism. Here's what the narcissist did to me, she'd push me, and push me and push me (mind you I have combat related PTSD and was honest with her about and I shared too much, she knew my triggers) and when I'd finally snap and flip out, guess what she did? Start recording me with her phone when I'd be in a PTSD delusion fit. Eventually I got wise to it, and when she'd have narc rage trying to fire me up, I pulled out my phone, and get this... I ACTED like I was recording, didn't even actually record her and she'd IMMEDIATELY stop her shenanigans as if a switch got turned, I wish I actually recorded the phenomenon but never did. She sent me over the edge and since I have a serious condition that relates to stress responses I couldn't just stop, it wasn't an act... narcs are constantly in their own movie, acting and manipulating people to get what they need out of them. She needed me to be spun up and angry, or depressed, feeding on my anxiety, that's the supply she got out of me. I used to wonder "what did she see in a combat veteran with PTSD" well it was that, and my VA check lol... Because oh, she wanted my VA money very badly and and was jealous of it.
When the narcissist knows that you know, they are at their most vulnerable and dangerous. You dont want to be anywhere near them when they lose control of you. Over time they will be affected by their own poison and get worse. They become as stale as old bread. I speak from experience like so many on this channel. Keep getting the wisdom and never ever give up.

My ex didn't take money or assets from me but he used me for coddling his grandiose ideas, sex, the attention of my children, a punching bag for his emotional abuse, ect. He'd pop by my home when he needed something, but kept breadcrumbing me for years. Looking back, he actually hated me. Every interaction was a transaction for him. He was filled to the brim with anger. Even when he was trying to hide it, his negative energy permeated the room. I'm nearing one year no contact. I'm thankful that I woke up and broke free. It's taken work, but my peace has slowly returned.
Since watching these videos, I’m mentally re-living my life and seeing through all the narcs I dealt with. Wish my new, strong self could have a do-over with them. 😁 They wouldn’t stay around long!

The reactive abuse that comes next is difficult to endure. When they become unhinged they are desperate to find a way back to their plan of doing what they want, and keeping you stuck. He’s either gay or bi sexual also.. important thing to remember, these people are so shady.. abusive. I finally have the proof to keep him from getting custody of the kids which is the only reason I even stayed this long to begin with, he threatened to fight for custody and him having my kids alone without me wasn’t gonna happen
You are talking about my ex-husband, almost verbatim. I actually changed my religious beliefs for him. Then, after the change, he quit going to that church/religion with me. He wanted me to change to yet another religion! I drew the line there. He spiraled from there into seriously unhinged thoughts/ beliefs. 😮 Why did he want me to change yet again? I've never been able to figure it out.
They want to keep you in instability with no social community. My husband moved us several times, just when I had decorated and started to get a home together for us and our two children…. until I said NO!! Unbelievable cruelty as long as you let them do it. Glad he’s your ex, like mine!
What can you tell us about covert narcs who hold down a job, earn a good salary, have a mortgage etc...they look mostly normal to most ppl, even their family. In my experience, they are extremely dysfunctional behind the scenes....they dont even connect their lifelong poor choices with the difficult stuff that is happening around them. They dont reflect on what they do. They just do.

I work and have a cafe I enjoy frequenting. I practice presence which just means being where I am, not letting the mind trick me into thinking I need to be somewhere else. The narcs self deterioration and flaring of emotions and verbal lashings has the narcissist breaking down it seems like because they're realizing they are not the prize they thought they were and people caught on to their act. I lived those 2 versions of who I was. Now I'm the 3rd version. The transformation, the indifferent healed person. I have good and bad days but at least I'm not in that relationship 20 years ago.
My ex was still seeking out narcissistic feed and validation, on the merry go round of failed relationships. It is her fate and I feel a bit of pity for her, but never forgiveness nor will forget, only indifference.

YES YES YES, you are so dam right, l never knew what a narsist was until l was stuck with one. The criticism of everything that l did, ate, drank, said, everything was attacked, it was crazy and l was too nice, l always backed down until I couldn't take it anymore. It took nearly 8 years of this abuse until I had to break free of it all. The lies, the nastiness, the control, his time table, everything. And now I've seen him with 2 different ladies and I'd love to offer them my experience with him but l know that they wouldn't believe me because he was very good at putting down and telling me how bad all of his previous partners were and silly me believed him and l know that he would be using the same behaviour to his new ladies. Hopefully they figure him out quicker than l did. My soft heart was exactly what he needed, like a meal to a lion lol. I'm free now, single and not at all interested in meeting anyone. the fog, you are numb. I gave up with Bizarro reasoning and arguments to maintain "peace." It didn't work. They'll sense the change and ramp up the abuse.I now place "emotional control" high on the list of ongoing "Works in progress." Idk why he doesn't talk about it more, I think it's because he doesn't want to like... Idk promote it or something. Or maybe he doesn't have the words for that topic just yet. He has mentioned that he didn't "stoop as low" as them when he went through it, but he's aware of it happening as he mentioned in this video.
You aren't alone I did it too, and definitely not proud of it, definitely apologized and was distraught about it, stills bothers me. They loved that I was guilt tripped by them. But the narcissist, didn't apologize ever for anything, ever... They never do. What's messed up about reactive abuse is when they smear campaign unfortunately they aren't lying, but they are lying because they aren't admitting they purposely took you out of your character by manipulating you to get you there. I can't stand them. I hope every narc runs into a psychopath that not gonna play their games. I have no sympathy for narcissism.
Here's what the narcissist did to me, she'd push me, and push me and push me (mind you I have combat related PTSD and was honest with her about and I shared too much, she knew my triggers) and when I'd finally snap and flip out, guess what she did? Start recording me with her phone when I'd be in a PTSD delusion fit. Eventually I got wise to it, and when she'd have narc rage trying to fire me up, I pulled out my phone, and get this... I ACTED like I was recording, didn't even actually record her and she'd IMMEDIATELY stop her shenanigans as if a switch got turned, I wish I actually recorded the phenomenon but never did.
She sent me over the edge and since I have a serious condition that relates to stress responses I couldn't just stop, it wasn't an act... narcs are constantly in their own movie, acting and manipulating people to get what they need out of them. She needed me to be spun up and angry, or depressed, feeding on my anxiety, that's the supply she got out of me. I used to wonder "what did she see in a combat veteran with PTSD" well it was that, and my VA check lol... Because oh, she wanted my VA money very badly and and was jealous of it.

When the narcissist knows that you know, they are at their most vulnerable and dangerous. You dont want to be anywhere near them when they lose control of you. Over time they will be affected by their own poison and get worse. They become as stale as old bread. I speak from experience like so many on this channel. Keep getting the wisdom and never ever give up.

My ex didn't take money or assets from me but he used me for coddling his grandiose ideas, sex, the attention of my children, a punching bag for his emotional abuse, ect. He'd pop by my home when he needed something, but kept breadcrumbing me for years. Looking back, he actually hated me. Every interaction was a transaction for him. He was filled to the brim with anger. Even when he was trying to hide it, his negative energy permeated the room. I'm nearing one year no contact. I'm thankful that I woke up and broke free. It's taken work, but my peace has slowly returned.
Since watching these videos, I’m mentally re-living my life and seeing through all the narcs I dealt with. Wish my new, strong self could have a do-over with them. 😁 They wouldn’t stay around long!

Every time a narcissist becomes unhinged they are experiencing a narcissistic injury. Anything that delays or undoes a narcissists premeditated plan causes them to snap. The reactive abuse that comes next is difficult to endure. When they become unhinged they are desperate to find a way back to their plan of doing what they want, and keeping you stuck. Those plans only benefit one person...them.

I finally have the proof to keep him from getting custody of the kids which is the only reason I even stayed this long to begin with, he threatened to fight for custody and him having my kids alone without me wasn’t gonna happen

He wanted me to change to yet another religion! I drew the line there. He spiraled from there into seriously unhinged thoughts/ beliefs. 😮 Why did he want me to change yet again? I've never been able to figure it out.

They want to keep you in instability with no social community. My husband moved us several times, just when I had decorated and started to get a home together for us and our two children…. until I said NO!! Unbelievable cruelty as long as you let them do it. Glad he’s your ex, like mine!

What can you tell us about covert narcs who hold down a job, earn a good salary, have a mortgage etc...they look mostly normal to most ppl, even their family. In my experience, they are extremely dysfunctional behind the scenes....they dont even connect their lifelong poor choices with the difficult stuff that is happening around them. They dont reflect on what they do. They just do.
That's my situation as well
