Honestly I know this is a relatively old video, but some fridge horror and brilliance I thought about, and what would truly terrify me would be a timeline where the only last two surviving political factions struggling the fate of Korea (no matter how unlikely it would be if such a real event were to happen) Would without a doubt be the Korean Democratic Resistance vs the Agricultural Self-Defense Communes.
Both of which eerily mirror yet sharply contrast each other in many ways. Having both been (at least in spirit) defectors of their former authoritarian rulers led by single bureaucrats who dictated countless numbers of of their own people to live and die by their strict regimented orders for their own vision of a united Korea, all the while making orders from the shadows, never seeing the violence of their orders first hand from an average persons perspective.
But now imagining a Korea split by two highly decentral, entirely grass-roots political paramilitaries nearly entirely (albeit with some highly decentral leadership) is mostly made up of by the everyday people of those regions directly, instead of the bureaucrats and former overlords who once ruled over them or their many feuding hiers, now formed solely on the will of the Korean people themselves and no one else, from the everyday civilians, students, teachers, urban office workers, as well as the unemployed, thrusted into a relentless, bloody stalemate against their very own people, the rural peasants, farmers, laborers, elders, the impoverished, and the disenfranchised and former conscripts, now serving as a rag-tag peoples guards who seek to protect the Korean people from their own people.
Both people who despite having their subtle differences, in background, were both cut from the same cloth, having been both the downtrodden and largely forgotten masses of men women and children of Korea, split apart only by their former governments rivalries, and who very much could have been the best of friends had things been a little different, yet who are now are tearing themselves apart limb for limb, with the once innocent public, living out the most typical, and mundane, of existences and were isolated from any real power their whole lives, having simple lives with their families and small group of friends, now being the sole heirs of their former regimes, standing as brothers in arms with rifles in each others hands united and determined to destroy the "other" at any and all costs, and who on a whim, would be ready to lay down their lives for their comrades as if they were their very own brothers, in a battle against, ironically enough, their very own brothers.
Both who are desperately clawing at the others throats in the middle of a country which as once the home they once knew, now a nationwide battle ground, from the streets, to the suburbs, to downtown, and to the rural farmlands, all endlessly fought against by common people driven to unite and restore the former glory of their long since divided and deeply troubled nation, so as to rectify all the sins of numerous generations of their former leaders mistakes before them, all by the hands of the very people of Korea themselves.

This is an awesome comment. The tragedy in any scenario like this where a country collapses completely and falls to a desolate, lawless, perpetual warfare situation is the real tragedy. Even some of the more "blessed" factions are still carried by the traumas and horrors of the conflict. In some ways, you can see the rationale and morality behind the ideologies and policies carried by any of these factions, some just want to restore order at any cost, some want to bring peace and freedom to people who are suffering, and some are just moved by vengeance. The biggest tragedy doesn't lie behind who wins the conflict, it lies behind the conflict itself. You can imagine the horrors going on in there and the amount of honest, hardworking people who lost their lives because of something they had no control over in the first place, and now their friends and family are now fighting over the little remnants of that past.
Now that I think about it, a final conflict between KDR and ASDC will be fucked up. these two aren't led by some bureaucrats like you said or one man or some idea, these are good-intentioned grassroots movements that have popular support.
However I think that eventually that they're going to hold peace talks since they have the same ideas and have cared for the people of Korea (like how in the regional and superregional stages in the base TNO mod that you can try to bring a warlord into your territory without a war if they have the same ideologies.)
This is just beautiful, legit, this is of high and great quality.

Really great. People like Choi Jeong-hoon and Kim Dong-cheol aren't famous in Korea, so I didn't know them well, but I found out about them through this opportunity. In particular, the song selection is very appropriate. Quotes are also very appropriate. Democracy is the absolute value that makes for human dignity, as well as the only road to sustained economic development and social justice. It is also interesting that poet Ha Seung-mu leads democracy. I don't know much about them.

You can edit them in the game files under history/countries, every country file in there has the code for the country panel tab (for the pie chart it's set_popularities)
