These videos are so interesting, and I like that we get to see archaeologists as real (and fun) people, instead of the uninteresting outcasts we see in the movies who will likely become serial killers. And I didn't know Stephen Amell was an archaeologist 😏 You guys should do Uncharted next.

Thanks so much! You're keeping me motivated to do more of these. I need to know what movies feature serial killer archaeologists! That is something for sure. Thanks for the suggestion about Uncharted and I need to go look up who Stephen Amell now :)

That's too funny! I wonder how much Yu-Gi-Oh lore is inspired by Egyptian history 🤓

Ugh I'm an idiot & understood that the 3000 years ago reference was to when the story took place not when Egypt was founded or started. I also have to remind people even in basic history we learned about the underworld in egyptian lore. Osiris one of the best know ancient Egyptian gods was god of the underworld judge & jury for entry into the underworld let alone the after life. He was also the god of the nile floods & agricultural fertility. Interesting perspectives though sad you didn't give the full movie a chance. Watching the full movie gives more detail & a larger pictures of the story & the special affect etc. If they can write something on a coffin or a table while couldnt they write it on a flat gold or bronze even copper sheet & then joint the flat sheets into a book type thing. Obviously it would be better preserved then Papyrus for important things expected to be passed down like I don't prayers & this for special priests. I'm 3 minutes in & totally had it. I know you are all well knowledged in ancient plants Egyptian stuff clearly not. Last thing this is a hollywood movie not a documentory or history thing so obviously things aren't going to be 100% factual or authentic the basis is there & it seem everyone completely misses any of it. I mean how does one not understand that this isn't going back to the beginning of Ancient Egypt which clearly would be more then 3000 years ago. We don't go back 250 years to the founding of America when we talk about world war 1 or the American civil war we go back to specific timelines of American history or for this film a specific part of the timeline of Egypt 3000 years ago but not remotely mention as the beginning.

I think for future installments we will try the full movie. All four of us have seen it and the trailer served as more of a discussion and reminder of the movie. But like you said, it’s harder to get at some of the details from a trailer. Thanks for watching!

@@smitinathan I meant no disrespect just felt the trial is short & alot of the questions or confusions mentioned are actually cleared up in the full version. That's all sorry if I was rude or disrespectful it wasn't my intention. I wouldn't put it on the level of Marvel affects or as good as many movies but for a 90s early 2000s movie it's still a pretty entertaining film & a trailer only shows 2:00 minutes of clips that are suppose to paint only a base story & grip people to watch the full movie. Sorry.

No worries @@craighanson-rc1md. The movie brings about a lot of nostalgia for us. We actually enjoyed the special effects and appreciated how effective they were for the time.

You're watching the wrong film This can't compare to the original "The Mummy" from 1932. It was horrifying. I believe it was sparked by the discovery of King Tut's tomb in 1926. I didn't bother with the remake.

We referenced the original movie! Adam loves that one!
