when sm64 came out i actually had a dream where i was stuck wandering around lost in the hazy maze cave. it was terrifying.

I never owned a nintendo 64 but i got to play goldeneye on xbox and super mario 64 is a very familiar game so i can relate
@@davidandrew7314 I don't think that was the intent, lol. Anyone can enjoy and appreciate this level, but those who grew up with SM64 and Goldeneye 64 have had dreams about things like this. Seeing it come to life outside of imagination is naturally special.

The laughing at the end, even in the normal game, always manages to give me chills.

I believe I've heard that is possible to shoot at Samedi (in this case Bowser) as he as lauthing at the end screen, but you need the two controller set up for that.

It softlocks you in the cutscene since it's waiting for him to finish a certain number of laughs
Dunno if it's possible to time it to shoot him but still have it end though, never tried
@@gabrielcortes8069 you would use setup 2.3 (i forgot the name in-game) and pull the trigger on the second controller at the end.

Goldeneye 007 was a creepy Game because of liminal places and his laugh

Incredible fidelity to the respective source materials. I haven't seen either in years, but I instantly was brought back and literally laughed out loud several times. MIPS had me in stiches. Bravo.
It's crazy how many guns they snuck into these games compared to how many we get nowadays.
Some of which only get used in one mission only.

This was honestly a fever dream of mine as a kid. These were my teo favorite games on the N64
