I remember years ago it was teased of Goldeneye Bond and Joanna Dark both being in Smash Bros but it was fake, I was so excited too.. shame.

actually 🤓☝️ the original idea was to include James Bond as a playable character in the original Smash, unfortunately, due to not coming to an agreement with Rare, it couldn't happen. However, the proximity mine remained in smash and that's why it appears exactly as the one in goldeneye. The idea was brought back for the GameCube release buy they ended putting snake from MGS instead of Bond from goldeneye.
I'm loving the background music.

Holy crap this is awesome! I remember I was first introduced to your channel through your video of your entire playthrough of the original GoldenEye with Mario characters, but now you actually are playing GoldenEye with Mario characters at peach's castle which is even more awesome!

Okay, so get this-
Yesterday, my dad was playing Goldeneye 007 and at one point went “The name’s Bond, James Bond.” but in Mario’s voice. That had sparked a short conversation about a Mario/Goldeneye crossover between my dad and I.
A couple hours later, I decide to browse Facebook, when suddenly, I came across an article about this very video!
I couldn’t believe my eyes! What were the odds of talking about such a concept and it actually existing?? I’m still in shock, lmao!

I was really hoping when you killed the final Bowser that the ending cutscene would be the animation from the ending of Dam, but with Mario jumping into the hole.

The choice of music and villain is perfect for the castle and respawning of Bowser. Baron Semidi has a very Bowser-like laugh.

I got my N64 for Christmas when I was 10 in 97 and got Mario and Mario Kart with it. Mario mighta came with the console? Anyway, then I got Goldeneye for my birthday the following October. I haven’t really thought about either of these games in years. I had zero idea this, mashing them together, was even a thing.
That was a pleasure to watch.
Can we talk about that insane 1m27s best time?? I did a 1m39s on Facility 007 once, ran like a mad man. This seems like a much more complex level!

Brilliantly well made. A little more themeing (music, level objects, weapons) would be the icing on Peach’s cake. Would very much like to see a full mod with every level from Mario 64 ;)

One custom level series that I'd love to see is someone remake classic PC Wolfenstein 3D with Goldeneye style. Have options to only keep the 3 guns and have a max of 99 ammo. Keep secrets and layouts and all. Hidden 10th floor can be an unlockable stage like Aztec.
