Great vid Gents. Interesting hearing how the 4wd is controlled and how they operate it similer to how Nissan ATESSA works. I also wasnt aware evos drove the front predominantly. Learn something every day!
The springs seem to be too stiff or maybe rebound is too slow, amazing to know what can be tuned and to what extent, with all that data he could even have active aero, amazing car!
If more people had started using open source electronics in their car like the RusEFI, the open source options would have been much better and the cost way lower. Lower cost on components means that more people can afford racing and building cars. Personally I also hope AI can be helpful with tasks like tuning in the future for better and easier tuning which results in saving reducing even more cost.
After watching Andre with Evos for over a decade I would be looking at him giddy just like that in an interview with my evo that he literally helped me build lol
@@neversettle7666 I think you're right. Probably with ceramic beads. I've been having parts vapor blasted pretty often these days, and Saint Gobain, where I get my blast media, has wet peening media available.

It's your entry into the corner thats letting you down 👏
Stop thinking corner, think radias
that engine bay photo @3:23 is so immaculate, i dream of getting my evo 7 engine bay to look like that
Pretty modest on the boost level. 33-34 pounds 💀💀
It's crazy how far ICEs have come

This is a great video
Cheers mate, glad you enjoyed it and appreciate the comment - Taz.

Would love to hear more details about this great car. You sadly cant find any additional info on the build on his insta...
Pop some questions up and Darren might spot your comment at some stage 😎 - Taz.
The gears in that gearbox had an interesting appearance. Was that display piece decorated, or was it some sort of surface treatment?
It looks like shot peening, possibly WPC treatment. I'm sure if you emailed Hollinger they would divulge details 👍

5:35 HP Academy needs a course on selecting correct hose clamps. Those tails looks angry.
if it works it works
Get T-bolts. Thank me later.
That bloke borrowed a radiator and fan setup from me back yrs ago
Smashed it up and never replaced the loaned parts
sorry to hear that he seems like a very kind guy maybe it was a misunderstanding:D
He was just waiting to finish HPA's motorsport design and fabrication course so he can knock you up a replacement at last ey😀
This was back in his drifting days
We both where sponsored by the same guy with engine builds
