Did they only recently change to Nankang as the control tyre? On the UK Time Attack website the car classes list shows Trofeo R for every class I've clicked on.

The Trofeo R was the control tyre up until 2023 when it was changed to AR1 for 1 year only.
Now it is open tyre.
