  • This is the third video in a series of videos dedicated to connecting the Pokeys57CNC CNC controller to the Mach4 CNC software. In this video, I connect an E-Stop switch and limit switches. I also test these switches in the Mach4 software
I upload to Instagram very frequently and add great informative content as well as customer test videos. Make sure to follow me on Instagram at:

Thanks for the video, but I have a question that remains..! Sorry if it's a noobies one.. When limit switch is engage the machine STOP a I have to disable limit switch in configuration panel to make it move again.. I'm not sure it's meant to work like this.. ? is it ?

If you press the reset twice, I will move again. If it doesn't, you may need to enable this in the Settings tab.

Thanks for the info. I definitely needed this tutorial for my new build. Daniel Ketler post needs to be blocked. Its pointing to some dating websites.

How can I add an extra relay? I have many Arduino type relay boards. They have VCC-GND-IN Could I connect the ground to ground and then the VCC and IN to the Solid State relay connectors?

Why don't you connect the shields to ground in the "controller" end of the cables?

I did a long time ago, but the terminals get crowded. In my years of doing it this way, I haven seen any problems.

Why does Pokeys use 3 kinds of connectors, the black ones, the green ones and the red ones? Why not all black ones?

Many of the products polabs develops interconnects with the the red ribbon cables and the black ribbon cables. The red ribbon cables are convenient when plugged into their drivers. But if you are connecting to traditional drivers, the black connectors are chiefly the ones used. It doesn't bother me at all. It's easy to assemble the black and red ribbon cables.

Can you tell me what you are hearing? All of the audio was a voiceover in a quiet room.

@@brett1995 Really? I'm only getting sound from one speaker and only on this video. The audio 'quality' sounds great though through one speaker.

@@PatrickHoodDaniel I'm only getting sound from one speaker, same with my headphones.
