Limit switch problem and solution

After installing these inductive switches, I could not make my machine to reference all axes home if I had the limit switch function enabled, and if I did enable the function, when a switch was triggered, then I could not back out of the triggered switch due to the machine not resetting. On this video I describe the problem and what I had to do to solve it.

This was helpful. I've been looking for a solution to my limit switch issue and saw configuring a debounce setting as a possible solution. No one explains exactly which debounce setting to enter though, as there are two. I entered your setting of 1000 and my cnc router now homes w/o issue. Thanks.

Usually, on machinery (CNC, automated robots, etc.,) I would see what they would call a software limit switch and a hardware limit switch. In this case, you have a hardware limit switch type setup, which would be your Inductive Proximity Switch (which is referred to as limit switches in this video). But it doesn't appear to have a software limit switch, at least from what I can tell. Usually, the software limit switch would be like your primary stop, and your hardware limit switch would be almost your like emergency stop. Like just in case a servo motor lost its position, or the wrong values were input into the program. It would halt all functions, in an attempt to prevent further damage to the equipment or product. But you can also use the Hardware Limit switch as a homing/referencing switch, which is what you did here in this video. Not entirely sure what goal you have in mind for this setup, or what all you are planning on doing with it. But Cool as heck to see someone successfully troubleshooting an issue, as opposed to just working around it. Some of which is things I constantly have to deal with on a weekly basis, lol. Thank you very much for your observation, in effect I have soft limit switches activated on mach3 and the physical switches are mostly used for homing as you pointed up, you have to take in count that I'm just a hobby CNC er, and never worked on this things until a couple of year ago, nevertheless the more I learn about it, the less confident I feel.

Do you have a fix for pressing the button between pulses, there should be a setting that is applicable?
That is the fix I think, unless I did not get your question.
@@CarlosMDominguez there should be something in the system that makes for a more positive approach rather than just getting lucky and hitting the button just a the right time.

sir i have a problem that when i check on auto limit in limited think three they are running and mac show three pin number and when i do al home limited switch stop working machine What is the solution for limited switches crossing?
