  • We stay in our Roller Team Auto-Roller 707 motorhome in the Findhorn TFVCC Motorhome Stopover in Findhorn, Scotland.
It's our stop in an aire rather than a campsite, and we couldn't have picked a better one.
It's £17 per night and you can stay for a maximum of 2 nights. There's room for 21 motorhomes and you need to book in advance - the barrier is ANPR-controlled.
Facilities are good. There's fresh water, bins (including recycling), chemical disposal point, and an easy to drive over motorhome grey waste disposal point. There's no EHU though. The site itself doesn't have toilets but there are 2 blocks of decent public toilets within a very short walk (one literally about 1 minute away). Only one was open when we stayed (the other was due to reopen after winter a couple of weeks after our stay) and it appeared to be open 24 hours a day (but please don't rely on that - check for yourself in case we're wrong!).
But the biggest draw is that it's only a short walk to a massive sweeping beach which runs 7 miles all the way to Burghead, and walking distance to Findhorn's amenities.
