You're not wrong. Every mature tree we have in the UK absorbs up to 25kg of CO2 every year. They've been busily felling trees all over the place to make way for wind turbines and solar panels - 15 million felled in Scotland alone. That's 375,000,000 kg of CO2 that won't get naturally absorbed each year. I'm still trying to find out how many millions of trees have been felled in England and Wales but I imagine it's a huge number.
I agree. I am a very recent widow, and despite the most horrific sorrow I have known, John will not experience any of this nonsense. For that I am grateful.

I have never had smart meter, so the latest wheeze is to make me pay my bill every month and keep demanding new meter readings. I have complained, but the official response is that "it's the new policy." Unofficially, the guy I spoke to told me that all the customers were complaining. So much for customer service. I can see exactly why they are doing it. Death by a thousand cuts.
UK Electricity Prices Highest in the World New data from the Government shows the UK has the highest industrial and domestic electricity prices of the 28 countries tracked by the IEA.
What with managing an increasingly woke labour force, high operating costs, poor transport, high taxation, I find it amazing anyone wants to start a business or employ in the UK.
There is no Far Right - it's just a slur the left use for normal people. There are just far left Marxists who want to burn it all down and implement their Communist utopia (thinking they can all be poets and crystal merchants and other poeple will work to feed them somehow) and the rest of the population who are normal and live in the real world who don't want it all burned down and the inevitable mass death/starvation that will follow.
There is nothing wrong with people who have genuine concerns about the imported state of British society who are constantly labeled Far Right. From what I can see and most people choose to ignore it, is that the most dangerous and very real threat to the UK and its rightful citizens and in particular the white population, is the far left.

@@matthewspry4217and charge it with what ? Solar panels in the winter 🤣 most chargers will not work on solar only. Your car needs a minimum of 1300w to even wake up and 1500 to start charging and in that rate it will take far to long. A generator perhaps but that is better used as a primary source of power.
After posting this as a reply, I have decided to create this as a separate thread :^)) My father, who worked for the CEGB (Central Electricity Generating Board) man and boy as a senior engineer, pointed out that: 1. Smart meters do nothing for the consumer, they allow for targeted (right down to the individual household) rationing or disconnection of the supply. With the talk of people 'earning' society credits to be allowed to do everyday things, as per China, this is very worrying. 2. Even with all the 'green' generation to maintain a stable supply it is necessary to run a lot of non-nuclear plants to be ready to keep the supply available at all times. He pointed out that nuclear plant needs to be run at a fairly constant rate and is not suitable for dynamic load balancing. 3. The high level distribution system is not designed for bi-directional use, it and its safety elements are designed to work from generation plant to fairly local distribution, though interconnected across the country. It is most certainly not designed for the transfer of mass power from say the Midlands or the North (especially Scotland) down to the Southeast. The system simply does not have the capacity to do this, it is a distribution system not a mass power transfer system (the cable and plant would need to be many times more mechanically robust). 4. Also, not being designed for bi-directional use the system id not set up for millions of micro-generation inputs, in an efficient manner, let alone safely. An example, what would happen in your house if a lightning strike hit the upstream plant and fed this back to your micro-generation equipment? The results would be quite unpleasant I'm sure. Who has responsibility for all the required safety features, is it the grid or the micro-supplier? 5. Load balancing and phase correction, how do we do this in a net-zero world, I haven't heard of any plans, though I have to admit I've not been looking! 6. When my father first joined the CEGB after WW2, they were still in the process of stitching together the national grid (the network, not the company) as in the previous decades they had practical experience of having many diverse and separate power generation systems and their aim was to have an efficient, manageably diverse, secure and reliable system. No doubt we are now far to clever to take any lessons from our own recent (ish) history. I'm coming up to 70 now and am also an engineer and even during my own lifetime I have had to fight people trying repeat making the same mistakes I had done, in the decades before. Sometimes I won and sometimes I had to sit on the side lines watching projects fail for the same reason they failed previously. There are far to many people who believe those that came before them were not as clever as they are, conversely there are also older people who don't keep up to date with their subject and right off projects that don't take newer technology into account, or at least test it to check whether it can deliver the benefits it claims to bring. Though this is a long post and I have listed 6 issues I am aware of from my father (I'm not a dual Chartered Electrical and Mechanical engineer like he was, just an Electronics and Telecommunications Engineer and FIET) and I suspect there are many other issues, like the way electric power capacity is bought and sold in the UK, good for making profits and bad for the consumers (public). Rant over :^)) P.S. my father died 3 years ago aged 89, and even then at his advanced age he could foresee the potential issues and dangers to life and society.
If you think you can stop it, go ahead. We are a means to THEIR end. They have armed forces at THEIR disposal. We cannot stop what’s coming, no more than THEY can stop what’s coming and happening. What do you think the end game is? Once you know, everything makes sense.
We are all being conditioned to rely on electricity to run our daily lives. Who in the younger generation knows how to survive without electricity? It's another point of control to keep us all in line and can be weaponised against us. You are spot on with your analysis Katie.
It's only when there's a power or water outage you really understand how much we're reliant on the state, and it's frightening, especially with the state of government right now.
Agree, and it will end up being about survival literally. How many ppl know how to build a cabin, to hunt, or make a fire? Might sound daft now but humans used to know how to keep their own.
But we had wood and coal which are now illegal to burn in areas so we are being forced into an electric future which will be controlled by those rationing won’t affect.

I converted all the lighting in my house to run on 12 volts, which is powered by a couple of large car batteries under the stairs, which are being constantly trickle-charged by the mains. I can also run USB chargers off this battery setup. If the power goes out, it should keep the lights on for a few days. The log burner will keep the house warm and heat a saucepan or two at a push. If that makes me a mad prepper then so be it.
Thing is it's all about circumventing the 'Agenda'. Is this really how we want to spend the rest of our lives, playing some sort of game of cat and mouse with the authorities?.
A couple of solar panels would charge a 12v batter quite nicely. A diesel generator in the garage attached to the mains as a backup and you are golden.
In July, 50%+ of voters stayed home. Many were retired with nothing better to do. I bet they regret their decision now. First the heating fuel subsidy been cut, they are thinking of cutting their already meager pension, and now rationing. While illegal migrants are lounging in 4 star hotels , everything free and gov . "pensions" for life. Some of them have not even reach age 30. Those who stayed home now can think about their mistake while freezing in the dark. They will learn in 2029 they better go and vote and vote right, even if they have to be carried there or on wheel chairs.

I'm used to coping with power cuts as we get them just about every week in the tiny village where I live. Sometimes there are several power cuts a day, for several hours at a time. I have large stocks of batteries, torches, candles, matches, thermos flasks, hot water bottles, a camping stove with extra gas bottles, etc. etc. I'm well aware of what the governments of the world are trying to do to humanity, so I've prepared accordingly. UK industrial electricity prices at 25.85p/kWh are the highest of the 28 countries covered by the IEA report. UK prices are some four times those in the US, 2.6 times those of Korea and 46% higher than the IEA median. Given that UK gas prices are below the IEA median and those of France and Germany it cannot be gas prices that are driving UK electricity prices so much higher than elsewhere. Canada, Norway, Finland, Sweden, New Zealand and Portugal all have industrial electricity prices less than 10p/kWh. We cannot hope to compete in traditional energy intensive industries or industries of the future like making batteries or AI with such extortionate electricity prices.
I remember when North Sea oil came on stream. They said there is enough oil (energy) to last 200 years. No one mentioned that we would be ripped off in any case.
Same in the Netherlands we have one of the biggest gas fields in the EU. There were more than 2700 billion kubike meters of gas in there. After many decades of pumping gas there is still around 600 billion in there. But our government closed it off with 500 meters of concrete. We aren't allowed to have cheap gas.😮
Katie, great video, there’s nothing wrong with being more prepared than we are now, some of my relatives don’t even own a flashlight! When you say that your house will still be working when others are not, be aware that your house has to work discreetly, not lit up like a Christmas tree when everyone else is in darkness, because this will make you a target for groups of “unprepared” people who want what you’ve got, but don’t intend to pay for it, instead taking it by force. Just look at the last fuel shortage where people were attacking others for a gallon of petrol, people fighting over kids toys in supermarkets and don’t even mention toilet rolls… unfortunately, times like this will bring out the very worst in people, so prepare by all means, but don’t advertise the fact you’re doing it or someone will be more than happy to hurt you for that camping stove or the box of candles you have in the shed, it’s a sad fact of life I’m afraid.
I agree. I now have a wood burning stove in the living room winde up radio candles, oil lamps and a land line phone. I've already cooked on my stove living just to see if I can. It works a treat. I remember all the strikes in the 70s.
Well done. Log burners and multi-fuel stoves are a godsend in power cuts, we heat the whole house with ours and rarely need the central heating on. You can boil water on top of them or heat up tinned food easily. They even provide light in the room they're in. Unfortunately stoves have been demonised lately and in built-up areas people are supposedly getting fined for not burning dried wood or smokeless fuel. It's more about control and fear than anything else I think, under the guise of pollution control. Same with having to register a couple of chickens kept for eggs in your back garden under the guise of d!sease control. They don't like self-sufficiency.
They're coming for the log burners and fireplaces too . I kid you not , I saw a billboard in Hampshire an hour ago saying burning wood is dangerous and harmful . As Katie says, deindustrialization. When they cut the power and people revert to wood then they can stop you keeping yourselves warm !
If I lived on my own, I'd tell the electric company to come round and disconnect me. Unfortunately, I live with two women who think I'm a conspiracy theorist.
23 billion to sort out 0.04% carbon dioxide problem, that wont make a lick of difference. Virtue signalling or nwo plan. Only thing that is going up is unemployment, taxes and two tiers and pals bank balances. 😢
Thank You Katey!! Not just for simply opening out the whole issue...but more importantly helping people to realize how they can prepare themselves...because a lot of people don't have candles & matches/camping stove & gas bottles/ terracotta pots for heating...very simple but essential in power outages. Bless you
Thanks Katie you explained that so well I understand now. Why is the UK having to buy electricity from France? Or the European grid? I AM a mad "Prepper" I live frugally in isolated France. Off grid and self sufficient 25 years ago when we arrived, but since went on grid as it passed close to us. Now happy to go off grid again, on my own. Battery banks, solar and solar power banks are a way of life for me now. UK needs to be aware of electricity companies holding on to their money as well. I refuse to pay EDF (electricité De France) by direct debit, but they insisted on only reading my meter once a year and charged inflated estimated bills. Eventually and easily done, they owed me over 1000 €uros. It took me an 18month battle to get refunded. Imagine how much money they are holding, investing and profiting from if they act like this, as they do, to just a million people! EDF are selling electricity in the UK and they are doing the same. Thanks for pointing out so well Katie part of the problem coming to consumers in the UK. I'm prepared for long power cuts, even longer cuts from EMPs (electromagnetic pulses) - from the sun or manmade ! And my basic system will also run my Starlink satellite system, so when everyone loses power and with it their phones and tv, I will be still watching tv when my neighbours cannot. Please be aware, everyone in the UK that has fully electric houses, or even oil fired central heating with an electric pump......When, not IF, you are turned off by the UK government, you will have no way to heat your home. Please prepare for this NOW.
Superb video upload Katie and easy for the hard of thinking to grasp. When it comes to pensioners losing their £300 (rations), at least Eskimos were open with their elderly when they left them on an ice floe. Commenting from my 15 minute zone, the question is WHY is the UK being actively shut down.
I don't know about the UK's natural resources usage per capita. In the US, I have been told (for at least 40 years) thst 5% of the worlds population(USA) uses 25% of the worlds resources. The elite crowd are worried that the western industrialized citizens, that made them rich, are now using the stuff that makes being super rich so much fun. We must go. Still need really poor people to do the scut work. People with much lower expectations for their futures. And presto! Old people get snuffed and poor rsfugees take their places.

Regarding writing off Debts in the UK, do a little research on Google or AI on the UK’s ‘Limitation Act 1980’, also look into safeguarding laws regarding residences with a vulnerable person that cannot be disconnected thru non-payment of bills. There are other loop-holes too but they require a deeper knowledge of Common & statute Law.

UK Electricity Prices Highest in the World
New data from the Government shows the UK has the highest industrial and domestic electricity prices of the 28 countries tracked by the IEA.
Because it’s set by the price of gas. We need to decouple this.
You're wrong Ireland has the highest prices
What with managing an increasingly woke labour force, high operating costs, poor transport, high taxation, I find it amazing anyone wants to start a business or employ in the UK.
I stopped paying when they doubled the price in April 22. Electricity companies are brokers. The government pay for energy through the national grid.
But we have the world’s largest offshore wind farm. Doesn’t add up does it.
I wouldn't want to be Ed Millibrain when the rabble catch up with him.

Normal Non Far Right people support you Katie, thank you for being so brave
There is no Far Right - it's just a slur the left use for normal people. There is nothing wrong with people who have genuine concerns about the imported state of British society who are constantly labeled Far Right. After posting this as a reply, I have decided to create this as a separate thread :^))
My father, who worked for the CEGB (Central Electricity Generating Board) man and boy as a senior engineer, pointed out that:
Rant over :^))
P.S. my father died 3 years ago aged 89, and even then at his advanced age he could foresee the potential issues and dangers to life and society.
Also allegedly S.Meters can give off bad things for health.
Thank you for that post 🙏

Here in Oregon we have hydro power with a special arraignment. We pay about 6 cents per kilowatt hour. You are paying over 4 times that much.
Don't you just love cheap renewables? And they look so pretty on the Jurassic Coast.

What are we waiting for . Don't let it all happen. We just sit and moan, that gets us no where! Fight the bastards. Somebody needs to take control. It shouldn't be happening in 2024 that we are treated like this . Stand up for your rights .
Without energy what will work!!! Think about it for a minute! I’m not sure if my wind turbines will work. 😅😅
Energy is the economy. Electricity is even used to power petroleum plants!
This is so important. Thank you for covering this so eloquently, Katie. We appreciate you. 🙏
South Africa is a fine example how well a industrialised country does and has done, with reduced energy ...Think about it
Ha ha it's a ruined mudhut country
1. The way to prep is to imagine you’re going to a festival, or going camping for a couple of weeks, and shove the touches, usb battery packs, small camping-cooker/gas, lighter/matches, rice/lentils/beans/pasta/stock-cubes/etc under the bed
Yup, South Africans have been warning about this for decades. Best advice: Get as energy and water independent as possible. The world governments are turning against their own citizens, so get prepared! Phone a South African friend for tips - we’ve been dealing with this for over a decade.
Been doing it for some time now Katie, you have to, living in deepest darkest Herefordshire! Someone's cat has only got to sneeze and the power goes off, it's like the dark ages!
will be the dark ages
