ZeoFill zeolite is less dusty, more absorbent, and lasts 10 years longer than the other zeolite products. ZeoFill zeolite is the premium zeolite tested and approved by LAUSD and most turf manufactures as the choice infill for pet applications. ZeoFill zeolite is the only zeolite listed as organic by ORMI, PASSED by EN71-3 Toy Test, and is Proposition 65 Safe.

Hi! Our artificial grass has already been installed and I am pretty sure they used silica. Is there anyway for us to rectify the situation without pulling the grass up? Do we need to rinse every single time they go to the bathroom? Any help would be appreciated as we rinse weekly but it’s smells like urine often.

For my pet turf, I prefer to add Zeofill (or Zeolite) to my turf every 6 months or so, along with some Envirofill as well. The Zeo infills are deodorizing, and work to absorb the scent of urine. This infill works best when kept dry and left to be cleaned by only the rain or by an enzymatic cleaner. The Envirofill infill (there are others as well, named Camofill, Wonderfill, etc.) that are an antimicrobial infill. While these last longer than the Zeo infill product, they are working to eat odor as well as destroy bacteria. The antimicrobial infills can be replenished based on use. These infill products are all pet safe and the Zeofill is actually completely organic (volcanic rock).

As far as cleaners go, I highly recommend a product called OxyTurf. It can be purchased online (though they are an Encinitas based company) and is a hydrogen peroxide based cleaner that kills the smell while remaining entirely pet safe. There are many others on the market, like PE51, ProVetLogic, Eliminator and more, but I’ve tested them all and personally, for my three dogs, I prefer OxyTurf for it’s fast acting odor elimination as well as it’s long lasting fresh grass scent.
If your space already has a silica sand infill broomed into the base of your synthetic turf, I would recommend using a shop vac to remove as much as possible before enhancing your pet's space with these products, so they are working properly!

Absolutely. It is still very helpful. We would use a liquid enzyme cleaner to clean it thoroughly first.
