    Is it recommended to put a weed barrier down before turf if you have dogs peeing and pooping on in? I'm reading that they soak in alot of the smell.

    • @KirbsideCleaning
      @KirbsideCleaning  8 месяцев назад

      Whatever you put down, the pet smells will soak in but you’ll want to put a weed barrier down otherwise you’ll have loads of weeds

    Great video, do you need to brush the cleaning product in or just spray on and let it do it’s job?

    • @KirbsideCleaning
      @KirbsideCleaning  Год назад +1

      Hi Kai,
      Personally I just spray it on and use a less concentrated spray. But if you were to use a more watered down spray I’d defiantly agitate.

    Hi, I’m looking at power brushes to buy for our artificial grass. The one you use looks the business but out of my budget. Do the mower looking ones which collect the debris work as good as a power broom type?

    • @KirbsideCleaning
      @KirbsideCleaning  7 месяцев назад

      The power broom bit works okay on the electric ones but I can’t speak on the vacuum part. I’d personally stick to vacuuming after with a basic wet/dry vac from Screwfix but the power broom part works great petrol or electric

    How much would you charge a dog day care turf 2000sqft cleaning ? And how often ?

    • @KirbsideCleaning
      @KirbsideCleaning  Год назад

      Hi Danny,
      Generally we charge £1 per square meter which I think roughly translates to around 600 square meters. So we would would charge £600.
      Due to the nature of the business we would recommend have something like that cleaned at least once a month as the process kills bacteria but a special deal for a weekly clean wouldn’t be off the books maybe.
      Ultimately pricing is down to you, and your local area/competition but that’s where I’d be at.

    I thought artificial grass was meant to be low maintenance looks like that is more work than just cutting the grass.

      I agree, this service is only recommended 4 times a year but where the grass is plastic any wee or poo from animals doesn’t organically go away it bakes on and stays

    It's not really removing the poo but just brushing it into the grass - in other words where is the poo you have collected?

    • @KirbsideCleaning
      @KirbsideCleaning  Год назад +1

      It gets picked up by the brush or flocked into smaller pieces then hoovered up with the vac.
