- I thought it would be fun to share some of the original comic book art I've collected. George Perez, Frank Miller, Frank Cho and many more. What's the point of having it if you can't share? I discuss when the pieces are from, what issues, where I got it and why I like it.

Correction: I have no idea why I said this but I said that artist Matt Roberts served in the Navy. He did not. He served in the Air Force. Whoops!
ComicTropes drop and given twenty! Lol
DOUG MAHNKE!!! Yes!! I’ve enjoyed going back through all your videos recently. Your opinions are always well researched, and the details you extract make me look at books I’ve read before from a new angle. But you know about Doug Mahnke. He’s the greatest working artist in comics. You are a gentleman and a scholar
I am so jealous of the Hellboy sketch. that is my favourite out of everything.
Tony Moore's art is just plain badass! I utterly adore his art on the first six issues on the Walking Dead and his take on horror monsters. It's really awesome that got some of his stuff. Thanks for showing off your collection by the way I like your explanations to each piece and you saying why you like the artists that you admire.
You have a lot of interesting topics bouncing around in your head. Nice of to share them with the REST of us. 😃
That was cool. Thanks for sharing!
You're a lucky guy! I'd love to own some Neal Adams and Curt Swan Superman art myself. Romitas' art seems off to me, loved Bill Mantlo on ROM, Jim Starlin and Bob Larkin on Shang-Chi, MoKF, Jim Aparo and Carmen Infantino as well, love their Batman, along with Adams.
That was very good, Chris! Thanks for show us the art boards!
I've been really enjoying your videos. This was great!
Owning pieces from your favorite books and creators are the ultimate for any fan IMO. I started collecting only fairly recently, a Mignola page from Hellboy in Hell this year was my biggest addition to date.
Hi chris , congrats on the +7k followers, the channel is a booming!! Since you mentioned hugo pratt and the corto maltes I would like to recommend you the art of horacio Altuna, which is a great argentinian artist, pratt worked many years in argentina along with another great comic artists like solano lopez and Alberto brecchia
Thanks for sharing awesome collection and nice stories behind each piece. I have a few issues of Groo from Epic comics, I think that was a Marvel imprint. I loved Johnson's work on Superpatriot.
Nice to see. I had original art from Hawkman Showcase by Kubert, early Justice League by Sekowsky and Witzend by Wally Wood. My mother tossed them while I was in the Air Force. *Sigh*
I love artwork from comic artists! Thanks for sharing!

Seeing Groo in there was nice. I grew up with one of his issues around the house, I think it was the third Image issue (where Groo becomes the general of two opposing armies and attacks another town with both of them, but ends up slaughtering his own troops by accident and never coming across that town's one soldier). I would love to see a Sergio Aragones episode at some point, because the man is hilarious, whether with Groo or something else. Also, Robert Kirkman's actually a good artist! Not often do you see somebody who works exclusively as a writer who actually can draw well (another one in the "writer who can draw" group is Alan Moore).
I also loved Groo! Here's my own Character and music: ruclips.net/video/SfukKJna93k/видео.html
That's an AWESOME art collection. As much as I revere my favourite artists I am sorry I never get a chance to own some original art. So very JELLY!
This is the only collection I have: ruclips.net/video/SfukKJna93k/видео.html My own. The music too.
Great art collection bro ,Frank Cho is one of my favorite artists as well.
Enjoyable episode.
That was awesome, I love your collection
Thanks for sharing. I've gotten a couple pieces and was looking for a good way to store them. This is perfect!
I dig the Aragones, Allred and Jeff Smith pieces! Those are some cool scores. I'll have to show you my Dave Gibbons Martha Washington headshot sometime dude (from the first ever con I attended way back in 1991)!
Love the collection. You have my thanks for sharing. Cool stuff
I appreciate you sharing you collectable artwork however I would recommend storing them in individual mylar sleeves instead of that plastic art portfolio.
Excellent collection of original artwork \m/
Super cool artwork!
Check out this artwork too: ruclips.net/video/SfukKJna93k/видео.html
Nice collection, Chris! I collect original art too but I could never afford some of the astronomical prices these pieces are demanding now. I'll pick up a few interior pages that are just non-action or talking heads. I love the wide range of styles and genres in your collection. You should frame a few of those pieces and display them in the old man-cave. Thanks for sharing!
I cannot afford any! So I make my own. Check it out: ruclips.net/video/SfukKJna93k/видео.html. The music too
Sergio Aragones deserves his own episode!
Awesome art!
thank you so much for sharing.
One year at SDCC Marc Silvestri was selling a huge stack of his Uncanny X-Men and Wolverine pages for $20 each, but I didn't have enough money left to even buy one.
Wow amazing your video my friend I like it 😀👍
Hey I was wondering if it’s possible to go through the process of making a comic book ?
thanks for sharing
Man, I liked Tony’s style in TWD so much better than Charlie Adalard’s... I do like Charlie A LOT, but Tony is just one of my favorites
Like you, I love John Romita junior. Unlike you, I like him on the "brick outhouses" like Superman, Captain America or Thor. I don't like him so much on "acrobats" like Spiderman or Dardevil ...
Please do a comic with Scott Brooks!
Frank Cho is a great artist but his ladies all seem so samey to me.
When are you going to talk Hickmans secret wars.
Did I err? -- Groo
Loved Groo!! Here's my own character and music;. ruclips.net/video/SfukKJna93k/видео.html
