FANTASTIC episode!! Never heard Miller talk or saw him in any interviews so hearing him talk about comics, art, and his passion for both was incredibly moving! Best episode so far!
Frank used to be notorious for being a bit of an asshole, but he really seems like a nice, humble old guy these days. Maybe actually getting the respect from the world outside of comics for his great work has changed him for the better. Good to see him in this way.

I DID LOL!! I only know Miller by reputation, I'm(at 41) just getting into comic books(read Richie Rich and Archie as a kid) and I've learned so much from Schnepp, Jeremy, guests and you guys commenting. I love this show. I don't have a shop nearby but have recently bought some comics on Kindle. ☺☺☺☺
I very much agree with Frank's sentiment regarding comic book's helping learning to read. My Grandmother bought me Disney comics, when i was a very young age and it made my reading skills a lot higher, than the rest of the kids in my class
I've seen many interviews with Frank Miller and in many he'd appeared very frail, quiet, maybe even sad? In this he seems extremely positive and I love it!
This series is really special. Just seeing artists and writers inside comic shops talking about their art but also talking about their peers' work is really special. More than it being Frank Miller and him talking about his own work, the way he talked about other comics and artists/writers with such reverence and love was really something. Keep it up, Schnepp!
Frank's run on Daredevil is truly a standout. It's brilliant and timeless. Without a doubt; one of the greatest runs in comic book history. I never get tired of reading those stories.
Great job of getting Frank Miller for comic book shopping Jon Schnepp. Just hearing Frank Miller talk is just incredible. Got a chance to sit at one of his panels at NYCC 2015 and it was totally worth it.
When he reemerged not too long ago, Frank looked so frail and sickly. I'm happy to hear him be creative and witty and full of energy. I don't like the thought of my heroes be mortal. Frank still got lots in the tank and it shows!
never gonna happend(unfortunately), not in the US at least, and definetely not in a comic book shop, he's completely done with the american comics industry. I'd love to be wrong though
This is next level man. I love how Schnepp's enthusiasm, genuineness, and love for comics always comes through as a host. The guests so far have been phenomenal, and the production, editing, and attention to detail are amazing. Keep it up guys you're doing an awesome job!
Miller is my greatest inspiration. If I could make a book that's half as good as one of his... I'd be happy. And you're right about reading Dark Knight Returns and getting chills. That first arc, with Dent, gets me every time. I always think "wow"
Just now catching this for the first time. What a joy to watch. Shnepp lived an extraordinary life man. Picking out comics for frank Miller... How many sweaties get to do that
Is it just me, but I see many actors on this show who do DC or Marvel movies. But once you see them looking at comics, they are acting that they are enthusiastic. For my part they don't have to be. But when I saw Mr Miller walking around in that store. For the first time I thought I saw someone having a good time. He loves comics and it is a huge part of his life. And it shows. I absolutely loved this episode.
I was sincerely touched by this one, Listening to Frank Miller and his experience with comic books also some helpful advise to up an comers was truly amazing.
I wanna be you when I grow up, Schnepp! Glad for this interview with the comic book legend, Frank Miller. Still have my first edition issues of The Dark Knight Returns, 300, Ronin, Elecktra, Sin City, Daredevil, and Batman with Frank as writer, artist and creator. He may not be everybody's guy but he's our guy! And he's one of the biggest reasons for getting comic books adapted for the big screen. Great work again, man...
What an honor to be talking comics with the genius that Frank Miller is! I get sweaty right here in front of my computer I would probably melt in front of him hahaha!
You know what? This makes me happy. Not only the show's level grew to stratosphere, but also it makes me see that Frank is in better health than I imagined
This one so far has been the best episode because he's genuinely interested in the shopping that they're doing. Total opposite to Jake Gyllenhaal who you could tell doesn't care about comics at all lol
Ohh Shit Schnepp! Who's helping Book these guests? Get Gaiman if possible, but I'd like to see other musicians and such. Fiona Staples would be cool to see as well. Any women comic shopping.
Oh my god, yes. Gaiman and Staples. I am currently reading "Saga" (I know, late to the party, but there are so many comics to read). It is beautiful, totally lived up to the hype. I also would like to see Gail Simone. Her "Secret Six" Comicrun is among my favorites.
ED the Happy Clown Actually you're not alone. I just started reading "Saga" last week and I love it! So weird and strange but beautiful and engaging at the same time!
+Voice Nerd I started to read last week too XD I have swallowed the first two volumes and I am already in love with nearly any character. Great storytelling, good passing and one of the best art I have seen in comics to this day.
Best one yet. Holy shit that was great and it really makes you appreciate all the art even more and seeing the boyish wonder on Miller's face when he finds something he didn't know before. Leaves a tear in my eye. Collider and Schnepp keep up the good work.
Frank Miller's such a kind and humble dude, despite being a total LEGEND in the comic book industry. It's a breath of fresh air honestly. I met Sara Pichelli last year at NYCC, and she was a total asshat.
This is the best episode yet and this is coming from someone who got more into Comics, the older they got. I love this show, Schnepp and I never miss an episode of Heroes!
He's so cool! I always pictured him as the guy who was so pissed about society. And my favorite part is when he says :"Nah I got those!". thank you Jon Schnepp as always.
I met Frank, must be about a year after this, at a convention in London, got the massive Sin City collection signed he seemed really impressed to see it, but he didn't look as well as he does here, but it was great to meet him and I hope he gets to do the Sin City western prequel, I think it would be awesome.
What a great video and interview 😊 Frank Miller is one of my all time favourite comic book writers and artists and is such a legend. So much love and respect for the guy 🙏🏼
You can tell in his comics, whenever she appears. Miller always makes her an uber-badass, a la Gail in Sin City. That epic "Where is my Superman?!" speech in Dark Knight 2 is just golden.
My neck hurts looking at franks posture.
The legend Frank Miller comes to your comic store and you make him pay lol
I'm sure Frank was happy to support a local comic book store.
It's actually a very good way to show support to comic book stores.
You know he can afford it 😆
He probably wanted the comics anyway
He did Dark Knight Returns at 29. I'm 30. I feel under accomplished.
I love how modest he is and gives credit to others.
Which means he did Daredevil at 23. You wasted your life, boy.

There’s plenty of writers who published their works over the age of 30. Hell even over 40, and they still got out their works.
There's something magical about seeing someone like Frank Miller be excited about comic books.
Just when I thought I couldn't love Frank Miller more, he says he loves Spider-man Homecoming and liked Tom Holland... this man is a legend.
kotoriceleste, yes but he also called Michelle Mary Jane
I choose to focus on the positive, he loved the movie, and he is a legend.... a legend loves the movie. That´s all I care about
Thank you for telling me how I feel. I´m old and intelligent enough to made my own conclusions about people, and their work... and If I think he is a legend, guess what your opinion matters very little to me
So his comics are controversial, but why exactly does that make him a terrible writer, racist, sexist, fascist? sounds very overreactive.
laz kar ... I'm as anti racist as anyone..and he's a legend. Period. No matter what a typical American he is in ideology.

Darwyn Cooke as well, in fact Darwyn Cooke had some not so nice things to say to him about the excessive violence in Dark Knight strikes again.

You need to get Kevin Smith on one of these, son!
Oh man yeah, I second this. Can't wait to hear all the crazy Kevin Smith comic stories! :D
this would be a one hour special
You really want to see Kevin Smith reminiscing about the comic book where Kevin Smith had Batman peed his tights, son?
yes
That episode might take an hour.

He really LOVES comic. He is knowledge, passion, experiencie... Incredible artist.

This is hands down the best show on Collider. With all the great content Schnepp goes above and beyond with compelling guests.
I think this is the first time Snepp has held the door open for anyone on this show 😂
Well he is an old man..
He did the same with Jacob Batalon when he let him enter first
FRANK MILLER!! He's seems like the type of person you could listen talk for hours LEGEND!!!!!
I love how he’s made the craziest dark shit but when I see him on an interview he seems like a very genuine guy

Imagine if he got Alan Moore lol.
They would have to go to Alan cause his passport has not been updated for decades.
