One of the most interesting and fascinating things about minimalism is that a very appealing, comfortable, and efficient aesthetic style can be achieved from only the elements that are really necessary for the use that you’re gonna give to an environment, especially if it’s a workspace. I recently traded in my old desk for a Barcelona Designs Protractor desk and have found that this has made me more productive and work with more enthusiasm as I’m redecorating my home office. I'm taking note of some of your things that will probably be very useful to me. Thank you for sharing this.
My setup is cross between your current and old version. I've got a MacBook Pro, UltraFine 5K display, Space Grey Magic Keyboard/Trackpad, and an Aeron chair but on my circular dining table. Needs to be dismantled after each workday. 🙃 Love the level of intention you have behind each piece of equipment.
Ironically, I was looking for reviews on the Sayl chair, and I just so happened to purchase an Artifox desk a few days ago. Haha, this timing was perfect. Really solidified my decision on the Sayl just from this video, as the 2 look perfect paired together!

@@reevartang564 I've never tried the aeron but blind bought a sayl this week. I love it. I should've gotten adjustable arms but it's really comfy and looks amazing. I've heard that it's a 5-6hr chair though and an aeron is an all day one. I don't spend that long in it to know though.

nice set up. after a year and a half at the kitchen table office during covid, i bet a lot of folks could upgrade their set up for working from home. i'll never be going back to full time office work, maybe 1 or 2 days a week. The home office has never been more useful!
RUclipsrs should take notes on your audio setup, your videos have always the best audio quality and sound, perfectly selected music without ever overpowering the cool vide! It is a pity how much people underestimate audio, and I'm not talking about amateurs 😏
My desk tour would be very similar to this. Except I would be saying things like "ahhh I got this chair at like Walmart I think? This keyboard is from my parents' 2005 Dell"
My 2019 did that. I found a article showing how to force the MacBook to see my 1440p monitor as HiDpi and it fixed my issue. Also low power mode helped with Monterey.
Not to be nost, but is there any reason you move so much? I feel like you don't stay anywhere for more than a year. Any specific reason why? I feel like a lot of your previous homes were beautiful and worth staying in long-term.
They’ve gone up in price. I bought mine in 2020 and it was $400 cheaper. Check Facebook Market Place and eBay as I’ve seen used ones with accessories for $350 as people head back to the office.

Zip ties are great, but a cable tidy box is better.
Adding or removing zip ties to insert one more cable is a chore and creates plastic waste imo
