Thank you! Just trying to provide value :) Btw next vid will be about the best MacBook right now which is m1 air from 2020 😄 I genuinely think that it is the best value for money now
While watching the video in genuinely thought the channel had 500k+ subscribers the quality on this channel is mental given the number of subscribers being below 3k. Extremely understated content.
I am planning to upgrade my office/gaming desk and stumbled upon this video. This is a beautiful setup and the harmony of the colours is impeccable, overall for such a small creator the amount of effort as well as production value is impressive! Definitely using this as an inspiration!
Hey Tobi! Thank for reaching out. I’m happy that you enjoyed the setup and the video) trying to do my best. Shoot me a dm on insta when you’ll update your setup 😊
On the charging part, you're fine, new devices can adopt and take the required watts only if supplied from a device that provides more than required, in your case since monitor provides less, you either will not be able to charge your laptop, or might be able to charge if the battery is above a certain level (it will still charge slower than usual).
Amazing! As an OCD person, there are things that even I was specifically thinking about like that particular Logitech keyboard that you just showed, or the monitor holder. I gotta build it when I can afford it.
That tabletop is exactly what I've been looking for, this is amazing! Great video, I will certainly pick up some things you've displayed here 😍 Also rocking the deathadder for years, but wanted to step onto more wireless setup. Had no idea it existed in wireless version, so that's another issue solved 🙏🙏🙏
This is on of the best setups i have seen, no need for too much clutter and expenses. Simple, aesthetically pleasing and functional without breaking the bank. I'm a new and proud subscriber bro.
Thanks for sharing. I like a lot of the things you did, especially the adjustable height desk and the monitor arm, along with the LED lights. Keychron is a great keyboard. Not a fan of the color of the side drawers. Looks like a filing cabinet. Also wonder how it looks bathed in the LED lighting. Footrest or ottoman could improve comfort and ergonomics. You didn't show the lighting for the rest of the room. Are they ceiling recessed lights? The room lighting would make a big difference. Also suggest softening the space with small succulent/green plant on the wide desk, as well as some wall art. Finally, any thoughts on sound dampening? Saw that you added curtains and the rug. That will help a lot in softening the sound in the room. Not really an issue if you use headphones 80% of the time though. For sound, a pair of Sonos 1 speakers or the new Era speakers would be a great addition.
Love your set up and editing. That juice was on point! Get yourself some Stealtho caster wheels, that will help with the rolling on carpet and it will fit your color theme.
i am honestly surprised when i see people doing their computing with ONLY 1 MONITOR! even though macOS is great with virtual desktops, 1 would never be enough for me, especially for work
@@filvaliulin Oh yeah my name is just an inside joke, but it’s fine to call me Palmer. It’s kind of like a nickname for me. @@filvaliulin They also say that keeping your desk clean could decrease creativity as you tend to think minimally and basically. What do you think about it? I realized too that a messy desk pushes me to work as it is more natural. With a messy desk, I don't mean it being completely messy btw, but I just don't push myself to remove everything except equipment from the desk. I have my books, my notebooks, my note-taking accessories, a wet towel for myself, and maybe a drink on the desk for example.
hi Fil- maybe one thing I recommend, although its costly, the 'belkin boost charge 2 in 1 stand' would be great for your setup ; maybe with the new standby mode of the iPhone you can make it very useful on your desk :)
“Not Grovemade of course because I still can’t afford it” - THIS I’ve looked at Grovemade stuff online and yes it looks the part and I’m sure is amazing quality but I can’t justify spending that much money on a desk mat. Grovemade products are talked about so much by loads of content creators, so I don’t doubt that their stuff is great, but people should also know that they can put together a great home workstation without having to spend big!
Mb mb, I’m constantly thinking about it. The mouse actually glides well, but for me it’s too slippery. So for now the solution is this mat. I keep an eye on other desk mats that can fit here and make the desk cleaner
Amazing setup! i have a question... how do you use the 3-finger shortcut on trackpad to change the screen, if your mac is closed? something like command+tab?
Bro you're OG on youtube! Just saw your registration date :) To your question - it is Garrett Leight Naples with Bio Charcoal frame. Honestly my dream glasses so far.
hmm question. since you connect your macbook via usbc, would it not work if u connect the razer dongle to the monitor instead? (assuming your new monitor has a USB A port) at least then u have stable connection when u are working from your desk.
yep, its working like that, but if i want to use laptop only (go grab a coffee or travel) i need to bring the dongle to use this mouse. That's my gripe :) The connection btw is superb and it is my favorite mouse right now
Honestly i am amazed. You value so much about a good setup yet you pick LG 32UQ750. VA panel, only dci-p3(not adobe rgb, no hardware calibration and such and many more things which could be better. You would be better off to take Benq of even beter EIZO.
I wanted to cut it, but decided to stick with original form. If you want to cut it - maybe guys at IKEA can do that for you, so it would be a perfect cut, or any other professional (don't recommend doing it yourself). Legs u mean like in my frame? You can adjust them to your desired width. So it goes from ~100cm to ~190cm. And I screwed them to the countertop
Thanks for everyone who is watching (if you subscribed - I'm literally speechless). I am a small creator, and appreciate each and everyone
I liked your setup. I have a plan for something like this. I needed an idea. Thanks!
