I Love how at 8:10 he unknowingly just perfectly describes the „meet the spy“ video. Like he said in the video, it starts in that major key and sounds like the pleasant backdrop to someone doing normal, mundane tasks, but then the shift happens and suddenly it sounds *dangerous*. not in the sense that something has changed or that a new threat has been introduced, but in the way like a shroud has been pulled back and you're forced to acknowledge the danger has been there all along. just like engie

You got the vibe for each song pretty much perfectly for every one.
Each one is from one of the classes' "Meet the Team" videos, where you're introduced to the class's playstyle and general personality.
Drunken Pipe Bomb plays during the action sequences of Demoman's "Meet the Team" video.
He's a laughing, drunken, Scottish (not Irish, but close enough) explosive class, lobbing bombs around and laying Stickybomb traps.
But he's also more tactical than you'd think. The crescendo happens when he leads the enemy team into a big sticky trap he's laid out, and gives a taunting salute as they all blow up.
Right Behind You is from the Spy's "Meet the Team" video.
That one is more of a horror/thriller style (with plenty of humor, of course,) cutting back and forth between the enemy Spy sneaking through the base eliminating people one by one, and the remaining team members guarding the intelligence briefcase, deliberating over how to deal with the enemy Spy (and killing their allied Spy out of paranoia,) before the big reveal that one of them _was_ the enemy Spy the entire time.
More Gun is from Engineer's "Meet the Team" video.
It opens with him strumming his guitar, sitting in front of a fire, casually talking to the viewer about what being an Engie means, while gunfire periodically interjects.
The threatening tone change happens when the camera pans out, revealing the many different automated Sentry Guns all around him, gunning down enemies trying to approach. So you weren't completely off the mark with the Western gun draw thing.

Amazing video, you really nailed the vibe of those songs. So why "more gun" turns sinister is because the engineer (that song is his theme) while being a southern gentleman is still a stone cold killer. Hes polite, hes brilliant, but hes here to kill for money. That why his character is so fun. You'd never know he had that side to him until it was far too late. Also I would love to hear a purely electric violin tribute to these songs, a greatest hits if you will. I think it would be so cool.

    Awesome stuff!
A lot of these music can be found through the 'Meet the Team' videos on RUclips in case you want the imagery with it.
It’s so cool that despite the different directions the musics take like Scottish back pipes or the western guitar, it stays true to the Spy Movie style you talked about.
If you ever want more of these, the next ones are:
    - Mercenary Park
    - It hates me so much
    - Intruder Alert
    - Faster than a Speeding Bullet
    And then some:
    - Dapper Cadaver
    - Soldier of Dance
    - Seduce Me!
    - A little Heart to Heart
Love your videos and remixes! Good stuff 🤌
(By the way, little tidbit, the theme for the sniper is straight up just the music of Magnum Force, the movie, not even remixed at all, just the same, so you don’t need to check it out if you already know it)

I kind of adore that both the medic and engineer essentially have two halves each to their theme music, where the first half is all quaint and unassuming and then the second half hits the most intense spike in tone imaginable. The same way medic and engie themselves are kind of quaint, cute, unintimidating classes in-game until given time to fully set up the tools that make them truly scary, i.e medic's ubercharge and engie's level 3 buildings. Music tying to the game design in little ways like that is just so rad.

I highly recommend checking out the soundtracks to the Telltale Sam and Max games (Save the World, Beyond Time and Space, the Devil's Playhouse). Jared Emerson-Johnson is the composer and sound designer for those titles and he does a bang-up job with the jazz-inspired tracks. In your first Team Fortress 2 video you asked for more examples of theramin-esque songs from games, and in the 2nd and 3rd games he actually uses them to precisely that effect (see City Streets 2nd Arrangement or Battling Skunkape). Both arrangements of the Office Theme, Bosco's, Cogs in Motion, Consecutive Office, Twilight Eternal, and Jurgen's Lair Suite are other recs for phenominal tracks from the games.
