- Jeff Teague and the Club 520 guys are joined by Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors where Draymond tells a story about playing in the Michigan State spring football game. Draymond claims the football team set him up by getting him to jump offsides, and then putting their best cornerback on him in what were his only two plays in the game.

Why is this 34 y/o professional athlete built exactly like my 54 y/o uncle who play ball then drink a cold beer immediately afterwards. Draymond has definitely maximized his height and attitude/personality 💯
Draymond got it backwards....there are a lot of NBA players who are there because of the Oklahoma drill. That drill created a alot of basketball players.
yeah, and in college basketball he was essentially pat bev, and on the football field he won a heisman lol
Facts!! I became a full time baseball player after that 😂
This wasn’t a setup 🤣🤣Dray just didn’t know the physiological warfare of football
Thats why its a set up, they sent him out there knowing he didnt have a clue

I appreciate Draymond's explanation of the nuances he had to learn in football...I briefly played in high school but I have autism and ADHD and so it was so much harder for me to get stuff at the time as I had no medication either...this was great...
I didn't even realize all those nuances. I appreciate the detail as well

Facts!
Yea hold it down for Wake football Teague💪🏾🎩
Here’s my thing, most kids come up playing both sports so to assume the NFL don’t have 30 players who can make that transition is wild.
It’s a reason a lot of them focus on football
Exactly
The tallest football players are linemen. They get on zion for being too big for the nba. Imagine an nfl linemen
I believe they’re saying NFL players can’t play with the fundamentals of basketball. Because most NFL players that play ball can dunk, but can’t dribble so I get it
Absolutely can't make it in the nba. It's guys that can't make the nba that are legit hoopers overseas or the g league that would kill every nfl player , got nfl players that can hoop, dunk, might can shoot a little but they never making the nba, most of them guys that's even tall enough would be pg height , ain't no way they making it as a nba pg, on the other hand the high school hooper that hopped with Bronny big as hell like 6'11" was cold but kinda seen he might not make it just transitioned to football never played a day in his life n got a scholarship to Georgia, cuz you can teach someone football as long as you got some type of athletic ability
One hit by a Ray Lewis type Lb and these bballers would be done. They talking craazy
Yall always bring up hitting and act like there isn't a guy in the nba that can take a hit but that's not even the point it's the skills , you can teach Westbrook. To be a safety before you can take any 6'2" to 6'4" nfl player to be a nba point guard, I don't think there's one guy in the nfl that could get a pg in the nba , and they are too short to play any other position
@@deebrown9263There aren’t many players in the NBA that can take a hit, which is why we always bring it up. Respectfully,NBA nighas are pu$$y.
At the same time football made more basketball players than any other sports 😂😂😂
Because they didn't like getting hit but nfl players just plain out wasn't good enough to make the nba n stay there , if they could it's way more money to be made in the nba n it's guaranteed
Story was funny as hell. They were clowning the entire time. However, Draymond proved the point that there ain't 30 NBA players that could just go out and play football.
Nah they did not call baron davis “B Diddy” with all these allegations goin on ☠️☠️ woulda filed a cease and desist immediately 😭
Baron was B Diddy 25 years ago. You must be really young 😂😂😂
@@elbowgang9715so 😂 he needs denounce that nickname!

Johnny Adams another Akron legend
Yall, I went to the Big3 in Cincinnati. Congrats on staying in the playoff race. Marques Teague killed 3's Company with his sidesteps and Michael Beasley lost his team the game because he was talking to and dapping up someone in the crowd.
In tears from the thumbnail “they set me up”
It may be more NBA players that can switch over but it ain’t 30. Football is just as much about mindset as skill
Bro called Baron Davis B. Diddy 😂😂😂😂😂
It’s not a penalty for the lineman to say something 😂😂
This shit make me wanna watch Radio lol
Wake forest definitely not weak they play in the acc and my mans for the rams just went to the nfl from wake forest
The south is known for great college football teams. Comparatively speaking, Wake Forest is weak
Acc is very weak conference with just 2 good teams
ACC football is inferior to other conferences
Wake tough Sam Hart was airing that mf week to week
ACC is good football? Lol OK
Aaron Curry was a solid line backer
You can easily find 30 NFL players lol there's 53 men on a roster & 32 teams. Thats 1700 players. Many who played in college/high-school.
@@tay12brady many who played in high school. Not college.
@bobbym9510 yeah you right. I meant throughout the years, there has been more nfl players that played college ball than nba players that played CFB
@@tay12brady agreed but to me that shows how easy football is for an elite athlete of any sport. They couldn't make the nba but could make the nfl. Track stars, soccer players, rugby stars, baseball, all have been successful in the nfl. But they couldnt make the nba when they were actively training basketball. I doubt they can now
@@tay12bradyyea but college ball is nowhere near nba, n they wasn't star players on their college teams, n most likely they weren't playing at an elite basketball school like duke unc, they was good enough to get a roster spot on a team n that probably saved that team a scholarship seeing he already got one in football, with that 53 man roster it's also way easier to make the nfl than the NBA, there guys right now that overseas or in the g league that was stars in high school n college that can't get a spot in the nba that would just any football player that played basketball ass
@bobbym9510 name them or at least 2 lol. They mightve made the practice squad or got a try out for a preseason game but never made the regular season 53 man roster.
This was absolutely not a setup lmao
Ahh that explains it
Aaron curry " who? Aaron curry " who" 😂😂😂😂
Wake Forest football was NEVER like that.😂
They did go to the Orange Bowl, he isn’t lying
Huh, they were 10-2 in 07.....and went to the orange bowl lol
"Hit, Hit" 😂😂😂😂 yea they set him up
Hilarious story. NBA players wild tho acting like no one in the NFL can be PJ Tucker or other stand in the corner and knockdown 3 type guys.
No way he tried to pull the “they were basketball players that failed” line😂 its literally the opposite. “The first day of pads gon determine who the basketball players are”. Even at the high school level we always had kids leave the football field like “fuck that shit” and make the basketball team, never once was it the other way around
Thanasis Antekumpo highlights 😂😂😂😂
NBA players could play in today's NFL with all the additional rules but few could play if the defenseless receiver rule is removed. And Dray said if NBA players get a chance to learn a new skill. Im sure its the same if NFL players learned a skill for the NBA.
Also it’s way easier to make the nfl than NBA because of roster size. Easier to make a team with 53 spots than 12.
AI has the best argument between hooper and football player
And Randy
Kinda but not really because they never made it past high school , there's plenty of athletes good at both in high school doesn't mean Randy could've made the nba or Iverson the nfl
NFL players are better athletes than nba players 😂 drey up there lying
Way better. It’s not close.
Exactly nfl players are faster stronger & jump higher than nba players.
Right lying like a mf
@@1Eashawtystrength yea. Bounce?!? You lost your fucking mind vince carter? Shawn kemp?? Zion Williamson??? Zach lavine?!! Ja Morant??!! Charlie Ward!
Trent Williams can play a Draymond role int he league right now with no training.
D Hop was a solid hooper too
Draymond lying like a mf😂 saying u got pressed by a 5'10 CB then sayin ALL THE SKILL POSITIONS are people who failed at makin it to the NBA cause of skill when we know its because they're 5'10 is crazy work😂😂. The biggest skill position in NFL make Steph look like a giant lol
Yeah freak athletes, super skilled... But it doesn't matter when you're 5'11" lol
Called him RADIO LOLLLL
Nah basketball players are the ones that got hit to hard and decided to hop out the field and get on the court 😂😂😂
And a lot of football players seem early they wasn't even good enough to make the nba
You can easily convert 30 European nba players to kickers all those guys grew up playing soccer
Are we not gonna talk about how he said he had to count his steps? 😂 “I know why the freshman have to redshirt” boa whet de fuk 😂😂😂😂
Ngl I lost a braincell listening to that. He made it sound way harder then what it actually was
I mean they do tell in that hit they also tell u to estimate, like u shouldn't be out their in the game counting , u should have a good idea of where 5 steps would be
There aren’t 30 nba dudes who can play in NFL. His basis of skill players in NFL being basketball rejects is silly. The same can be said in reverse. NBA dudes were too soft or didn’t have skill for football.
You crazy ash hell if you think it’s not 30 players in the NFL that can do what draymond does in the nba
There’s not 30 players in the NFL that can do what Draymond does 😂 atleast not at the same level
@@mayfield0707961 not 30, probably 100s
@@mayfield0707961They probably can’t replicate the assist because they don’t have the feel, vision or basketball IQ for it but they could for sure go average 8-9 points and about 4-5 rebounds easily
@@mayfield0707961 “you crazy as hell” I didn’t forget to count you
They're too short lol, about it.. 5'11" freak athlete can't do what he can
If anything the main reason you can’t take 30 players from the NFL and put them in the NBA would be about body types. Most of the tall NFL players are huge linemen and most of the freak athletes are short by NBA standards.
1:10 W press
All my basketball friends were scared to play football
5:50 lineman aren’t aloud to what ?😂
I believe it’s vice versa & you can find 30 NFL players to teach NBA basketball skills, more so probably defensive side. I also believe you can find 30 NBA players who can be taught NFL skills also & play & probably more so on the offensive side especially with the rule changes, but if this was back in the day NFL hell no they wouldn’t survive, I’m talking Reggie white or even early Ray Lewis Days. NFL players could survive against the the bad boys of the Detroit Pistons etc.
Day day, get your ass out on the ice 🤣
Johnny Adams was a dawg
You don’t think Myles , Keon ,funches, and that corner from Iowa can’t play in the nba but Bronny can crazy work😭
Lol not radio 😂😅
I think what these nba players r forgetting is that dudes in the nfl been working there whole life for that nd most still don’t make it. Even if u took 30 elite athletes and gave them a lifetime of training, the majority still probably wouldn’t make it. Football is a wildly different sport than any other and requires an entire team to be on the same page to succeed
@@tylerv1083 well thats just not true. They even have a program that gives other sports athletes a chance and someone makes it yearly.
Being an elite athlete is pretty much all you need. The rest is just a little training and they will find a position for you.
So right now there a guy that's been hopping his whole life 6'11" played with Bronny, he's good but the way the nba is now most likely his game not suited , he's graduating n decided to try football never played a day in his life lol guess who gave him a scholarship lol Georgia, a top end football program, as long as you got physical abilities u definitely an be taught football , one thing that definitely can't be taught in basketball is height
@@deebrown9263😂😂That gets you a CHANCE in football. Big Jah will get his fat ass rocked and most likely quit before the season ends.

Just type in Draymond Green Spring Football MSU or something like that
im tlkn that specific edit that they tlkn with the Detroit music or w/e
The argument is not fair 400 in nba 1500 in nfl…of course it’s harder to be one of the 400 nba players😂
Im not gonna lie as a football player they didn’t set him up he was still a novice
They named two nfl players off top they could def find 28 more easy
As a buckeye, wake forest is weak lol.
Lineman can talk they just can’t say nun like that😂and setup? Mane if you gonna play a game you gotta know the ins and outs
He said it was his last chance to play football, I’m thinking he grew up playing in high school or something… then he says “wait, y’all want me to count the yards?” Lmao I’m sure that’s second nature to people who grew up playing.
You don’t even have to count the yards. Just go a extra yard past the linebacker
He never pointed out where he was set up what I heard was he didn’t know what he was doing even though they explained it to him
I think the difference is the NFL doesn’t have a g league. There is 30 NBA players that could probably learn football. I am willing to bet maybe 3 of them actually ever see the field for significant play time. If NBA teams had more spots like the NFL does then I promise there would be more NFL players that could make the transition. He we were to break that down to an and exclude players who would never start in the NFL then yeah that ratio would be extremely close.
Thats a fact! NBA takes too much skills, not to take away anything from NFL.
If you athletic you can plat both period. NFL is not as barbaric as it once was
Drake London on Falcons can hoop
😭this just proves it’s probably %5 of nba players that can play football i think ant edward’s could or lebron

I’ve been following Keon Coleman since his jr year of high school. He could have easily went pro in hoop. This dude was pushing out quadruple doubles like it’s no one’s business, on great shooting 😊
@@HeztheBarber probably not, being great in high school doesn’t mean u nba level. If he was good enough to play in the nba he would have played more than 2 mins a game in college
@@1Eashawtythat’s not true. Look at the top high school prospects for each year, the same top guys go to the NBA it doesn’t change much. That’s why they’re 1 and done. 1 year of college don’t dramatically move your skills to nba levels.
@@spydaman376 Keon Coleman wasn’t a top ranked basketball player in high school. & if he was good enough to got to the nba then why did he play less than 2 mins a game when he played basketball in college? 1 & done players actually contribute when they play college basketball, he could barely even get on the court
@@1Eashawty because he played for Michigan State. A blue blood basketball school that had established players and had to earn his keep.
