  • March 26, 2007 - Saginaw junior Draymond Green finished with 26 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists in propelling his Trojans to the 2007 Class A state title with a 79-57 win over a Detroit Redford team led by Michigan's Mr. Basketball Manny Harris.
    Notes:
    1. Draymond Green initially committed to Kentucky, before decommitting following Tubby Smith's departure. Green went on to play four years at Michigan State before being drafted in the second round of the 2012 NBA Draft by the Golden State Warriors. There, Green became a four-time all-star, eight-time All-Defensive team member, and a four-time champion.
    2. Detroit Redford's Manny Harris played three seasons at the University of Michigan before signing with the Cleveland Cavaliers as an undrafted free agent. Harris bounced around the NBA until 2017 when he embarked for a career overseas.
    3. Saginaw center Josh Southern played four years at Boston College.
    4. Saginaw's Bobby Lewis starred at Mott Community College before transferring to Northwood University and becoming one of the GLIAC's leading scorers.
