Before I watched your videos I was afraid of flying, but when I discovered your channel, I got inspired with how comfortable you were on planes. and now, I have overcame my fears and I will be flying from Edinburgh to Heathrow to Newark in 5 weeks. next year I will also be going on an Emirates A380 to Dubai, I must say you have turned me into a real plane geek Lol!!

If you want to visit Greenland, I can show you how you can go there but traveling to Greenland is horribly, heavily expensive but it's up to you.

I was in a British airways a380 landing there once. This was at the evening so it was absolutely awesome!

Been on American from Nashville to Los Angeles. Great flight. My personal favorite of the American lines. I was even given a notebook for free because I complimented the service.
All these videos are just more inspiring to travel threw aviation and see how beautiful the world is

Thank you for another great trip report. The American inflight service looked quite good! The transfer at Heathrow looked smooth too, helped by not needing to change terminals for your onward flight to Vienna. I always enjoy watching your travels. Thank you for sharing.

I didn't know about the infrared lights on the IFE monitor! I'm re-watching your videos and I enjoy them just as much as when I originally watched them. I miss traveling!
I loved flying in the old 757, with my status I usually got the window seat by the middle entrance. business class was huge and had a better chance of getting an upgrade.
Two of my favourites "Big bang theory" and the amazing movie "Being there"
Having lived in LA to go to school....lots of fond memories of the City Of Angels !

Came back to watch this vid again, and ouch that Virgin America boarding call broke my heart. Really miss those days.
We fly to Ireland twice a year from LAX via LHR and we take VS, BA and once AA and I really liked American, it was very chill. Our net trip is just in a month during school holiday, but I think we're flying VS upper class on my parents miles. That will be 100% lit.

+2fly2 Thank you very much! :D The 777-300 of AA is very nice, especially the IFE! But I wouldn't call it a game changer though, it's a great airplane and a great cabin but certain (not very important) elements are missing, like a LED mood lighting (e.g. Finnair), cheaper Wifi (e.g. Emirates) and a real self-service kiosk and not just a box on a cart (e.g. China Airlines). The Boeing 757 is like a bigger and a longer range version of the 737.
The 757 is also a single aisle plane but very different to the 737!

When I was 6yrs I flew small American flight from Raleigh to London
When I used to travel a lot on business between NY and Manchester in the 60s on BA VC10s (necessitating a fuelling stop at Prestwick) I always looked to be sure we were landing at the right place by checking that the cars were driving on the left! Odd - to me now - that no-one reports this these days. It must have been my pioneering adventurism!

Excellent trip report and very nice video great flight but seems food was inadequate for long haul flight ✈️ in economy class they should have better given a decent meal in AA, further to this all three landing and takeoff were great 👍and enjoyed the flight video so much tx

Its really great to do plane spotting in LAX
I feel your pain, I wanted to go to Dubai and I was in Los Angeles and I already had a non refundable ticket from jfk to dxb, therefore I had to book a ticket to New York but it was cheaper to go to Newark in New Jersey which meant I had to fly to ewr and take a long Uber ride to jfk which is like 1 hour 15 minutes away from ewr. When I got to JFK i checked in and went to my gate in which the a380 was delayed for technical issues. After a 5 hour delay I finally boarded the plane and got to Dubai. What an experience it was!
