It gives me the fov, I need while driving on a large screen without bezel . Triple screen can give more fov. But I don't look at the far edges of the screen during the race . Also , If you want to mount the monitor on a motion system , this is very easy

Racing simulations has come a long way since Turbo arcade game from the 80's.
It has definitely evolved to another level.
Isn't it dangerous to mount a monitor directly to a motion racing cockpits?
I added materials to prevent vibration from the back and bottom. This way it doesn't cause problems

looks great, had the 57" myself for a couple of mounts but not on an integrated mount (i have motion). Do you have any video on the modification you did for integrating the 57" with extra support etc?

A Grassmonkey puck will add VR like experience to this monitor. I can’t race without it anymore.

There are many factors that determine your choice of monitor.
easy of use, mounting advantage and a single having a big screen.
I think it provides sufficient field of view when mounted close to you. 57 is expensive but 49 also gives good fov .
Triples show a much wider area . It can make you feel more in the cockpit . Some of the issues I mentioned above are also disadvantages . At the end of the day, whatever is your choice is best. 😅

Curious how the Odyssey 57” G9 monitor does with iRacing in 1440P, what resolution do you use with it? What kind of FPS are you getting? What video card?
I am using 3090. When proper graphics settings are made in iracing, I can get 120 Hz at 2160p.

I've owned a 49 inch for 2 years and I won't say I'm tempted by the 57, only this price is terrible on top of the drop to 120Hz. You gain a lot of view it matters in the game. I mainly play ACC and there the requirements are cruel.
Hi mate . I used to enjoy the 49" g9 . I think, it provides a sufficient field of view if positioned well. I was getting good performance at 1440p resolution on GTX3080.
I am currently using gtx3090 . Before I bought it, I was wondering what kind of performance I would get at 2160p resolution . I can get between 90-110 fps with a good setting in iracing.
I didn't have a chance to try ACC. I will try it as soon as possible and share the performance information.
Unfortunately, the price of 57 is not cheap, right.
However, when we look at its size, it is an excellent monitor for simulations.
Prices will decrease over time. I think enjoy 49" for now

Looks like the perfect monitor for simracing.
It's a pity that there are no comparisons e.g. in iRacing in the form of pictures how much more of the cockpit one sees 49 vs 57 inches.
From what I calculated it gives about 10cm on the sides and 3cm each from the top. However, it's hard for me to imagine how this will translate into a cockpit view during gameplay. I don't think I'll see the side mirror from the passenger side, but the imersion is certainly greater.

Monitor looks great, but its price is just ridiculous. I race with the LG45 Ultra Oled.
@ thanks for the info, that's a lot of money for 10cm on each side. When my G9 dies I may get one, but I don't think its worth £2k to upgrade if you already have a 49" monitor.

What fov did you end up with? I have the 57 and sit about 62cm away and am using 125.
I drive from a distance of 60 cm. Fov at the same values

1 mon = 16x9 aspect, 2 mon= 32x9 aspect, 3 mon =48x9 aspect. This is dual uhd =32x9
Still only 2 monitors wide at huge 4k though. Imo 3x32" lg nano at 1440p is a better experience. If it was true 3 mons you could see 180 deg view out driver and passenger windows.
VR > 57" > all others including triples (talking about what I like the most, not only the biggest FOV).
@@jahshjahsh2002 agree! Especially when racing formula cars. I mean the real drivers don't even have the field of view this guy has because of the helmet and side protection.

Thanks . I use 2160p 120 hz with nvidia 3090 . You can use 240 Hz very easily with 4090
@ thank you for your fast answer 🙏 I tried but they said it’s not possible with the 4090 I tried everything. Because of NVIDIA limitations on the dp port it can maximum do 120hz with full resolution.

nope you cant use 4090 @240hz as 4090 doesnt have DP 2.1 - only AMD Radeon 7900 has DP2.1 .
Yup we’re waiting for Nvidia to update their compression algorithms for the HDMI as AMD is able to push 240 Hz native with the same HDMI standard. DP is a no go altogether unfortunately. The only card that can actually run nat I’ve over 120 is locked to 120, go figure.

merhaba bu monitör 3lü kurulumlarda ki gibi sağ ve sol kapıların camlarını tamamen gösterebiliyor mu? eğer 3lü kurulumdaki kadar görüntü verebiliyorsa almayı düşünüyorum göstermiyorsa 3lü monitör olarak ne önerirsiniz
Selamlar . Tabiki 3 lü kurulumdaki kadar geniş göstermiyor. Fakat şöyle birşey var. 27" 3 lü kurulumu yakına konumlandırmazsanız ancak bu kadar fov yakarlarsınız. 32" daha rahat olur o anlamda. Benim monitöre göz mesafem 60 cm ve yeterli fov u sağlıyor. Bundan fazlasına 3 lü kurulumda bile nadir bakacağınızı düşünüyorum . Ama ben yan kapılara kadar çok geniş bir alanı görmek istiyorum derseniz 3 lü sistem kurmanız gerekiyor . Benim gibi yakına konumlandırma şansınız varsa 49" bile iyi bir seçenek . 1000r lık curve özelliğinden dolayı görüntü ona göre yayılır. Flat bir monitöre göre daha geniş bir alan görebiliyorsunuz

@@nurisahin9825 fov un çözünürlükle alakası yok. Tamamen ekran boyutu ve monitörün konumlandırdığın mesafeye bağlı. MEsela 32" monitörü 60 cm mesafeye konumlandırdın
43" olanı ise 1 metre mesafede.Bu şekilde 43" büyük olmasına rağmen 32 ile aynı alanı gösterir. Tabi bu bahsettiğim gerçeğe yakın bir fov ayarladığında geçerli

Paraya para demiyorsun bakiyorumda 😄 Yok harbiden simracing cok para, al al bitmiyo. Ben 200 Euro’dan basladim, simdi 3 yil icinde nelere geldik kendim bile sasiriyom. Motorsport cok severim ama gercekten yarisci olmak olmadi maalesef , bizde simracingle tadimizi aliyoruz.
