As A 70's teen, Mopars were abundant in my circle. Darts, Dusters, Barracudas, 'Cudas, Coronet, Challenger*, Chargers etc... never paid over a $1000 , many purchased for half of that.If i had a nickel for every Ballast resistor i 've replaced in my youth??? Good Times. Lol
I'm 60 now in 2022, going on 61 God willing, in early 2023. In 1978, at 16, starting my senior year of high school, I was looking to have major performance work done by a local New Orleans shop that specialized in Volkswagens. Now I had an extremely well cared for 1970 VW Karman Ghia, so not a "Beetle" but a friend had a built Beetle that pulled the front wheels off the ground on launch, so there were fast VWs back then. Instead, I bought a "cool used car", a 71 Charger R/T 440 4bbl, Slap Stick auto, open 8¾ rear axle (did NO justice for the launch, but man it would smoke that 60 series tire for a half block). A/C, power steering and power disc brakes, nice car. It desperately needed new plug wires, cap, rotor, POINTS, but all that got her running really good. 54k miles, $1,700.
My first Mopar product was a 1972 Dodge pickup truck 3/4 ton had a 383 Big Block in it and I drove that truck from 1983 to 1993 and I mean it got me everywhere it doesn't seem like five states and you can't beat a Mopar product I don't care what
DUDE!....These MOPARS are better than Viagra!..(LOL!)...😅👍❤️
Thanks for watching cause I think so too 😂
I had a '65 Plymouth 426 Max Wedge Sport Fury for many years. Great car and very fast. My '67 426 Belvedere II was a POS.
The 65 sounds like a cool beast. Thank you for watching. I appreciate it
