In-line Brake Pressure Switch for After Market Rear Sets on the Honda Grom and Monkey ホンダグロムブレーキスイッチ

A very easy mod to retain the rear brake light functionality on your Honda minimoto bike (and most motorcycles) when your aftermarket rearsets do not have a provision to retain the original plunger-style switch.
This demonstration is on my 2022 Honda Grom but can be applied the same on any motorcycle that has a hydraulic brake system.

I ordered SATO Racing rearsets from WeBike Japan in September. They are bespoke, made-to-order rearsets so naturally, I’m still waiting for them. WeBike says I can expect them to ship in February so hopefully I will be doing this job soon on my own Grom.
