Quick tip/trick - If you put the closed end of the 8mm wrench on the bolt before you add the hose, it won't come off and the bleeding process will go more smoothly
Think of these sensors like switches that are wired in parallel to the wire that powers the brake light. For more detail, do an image search for “parallel switches”
So i bought the pressure switch for the rear brake for my pit bike. I have also bought a univeral taillight/brakelight what wires do i connect together to connect to my rectifier to get the lights working??please any information on installing a brake light onto a pit bike would help. Thanks for your time
On my bike I upgraded to LED a while ago the rear tail light and blinkers. I never touched the brake switch. You can tell when the running light is on and when you hit the brake the lights get very bright. As we speak the lights are bright like I’m riding the brakes. I figure that this may be a bad brake switch
Do you need to add a second pressure brake line to the front brakes for brake light to work for front brakes? Thanks, any feedback appreciated. Thanks for the video.
You need to Learn how to put the cap back on the brake reservoir..... The rubber boot should be collapsed when you put it back on!! The way you did it will push the fluid out of the reservoir.... IF you do it correctly and collapse the rubber boot First, it will not force all the fluid out onto the floor... Good Luck...
Can anyone help me . I have a 98 cr125r that's ready for the road has reg number everything just need to fit a rear break light. Obviously it's a full mx bike so how do I run a rear brake light
@@vegasromaniac I mean power to power the light is there anyway to do it without a battery ? I've seen people doing it off the rectifier is this enough to run a led front light and a rear brake light. It's down as day time mot only so at the moment I only need a rear brake light

Nice job on keeping the explanation simple, easy to understand.
What's about the wires you didn't explain those?... also this was more like "how to bleed your brake" video..

Thank you! Don't have a yz, but this definitely works for me and helps me out
How do you know when to stop pumping the brake and chuck the cap back on, and do you fill it back up to the top after your done
street legalizing the YZ? I have one of those that I intend to install on the front brake lever since I rarely use the rear brake on the street.

Did your rear brake light stay on the whole time indicating that the switch was bad?
It's dual, so it has running light and brake light

Any leaks after using it awhile? Thanks
no zero leaks

Yes, but to be street legal you only need one, and when you brake you use both anyways
WHERE DO THOSE WIRES GO THOUGH! Where do you plug those two wires from the banjo bolt into?
In to the street legal kit
@@vegasromaniac like me, i guess you thought that was pretty obvious 🤷♂️
How about if it rmz450 the master cylinder is different
I'm sure there is a banjo bolt for that
Thanks for posting this video, but bleed oil out is necessary? I think you can replace without doing that! reagrds
Yes you need to bleed oil if not the air bubbles in the system are dangerous and will make the brakes feel mooshy
Vegas RoManiac thanks for explanation!!
where did you buy the hydraulic brake switch? i have 2003 crf450r, what size would fit on my crf?
Ebay
Do you have to blead the brake? I don’t have acces to any brake fluid lol
Yes you have to
Vegas RoManiac went ahead and changed the banjo bot and never bled the brakes, tbh I prefer how they brake feels now lol
Thanks
No problem
Do you know how to add a front brake switch to a dirt bike that didn't come with light switch?
Same way, banjo bolt install,
Thanks, it's been a while since I bought mine. Couldn't buy anything back then.
Will anything leak when i unscrew the bolt??
Yes and you need to bleed the brakes

@@rsturborolphy6760 you can but need a new stator and rectifier intiaalled
@@vegasromaniac ok cool so I'm guessing the easiest way is to just put a battery on and keep it charged and run the lights that way
thank you very much
Glad to be of help
