not sure ! some very rare people have a specific talent, and the hard training helps, but doesn't make you " talented" ! The difference between talented and good gym performers is : the first one " train", the second one " work" it's not the same at all -

the leotard team US won Women's Gymnastics gold in was a tribute to the one the Magnificent 7 team won their Gold in in Atlanta 28 years ago and there's still 3 more leotards Simone gets to wear in individual all around August 1st Vault finals August 3rd and Beam and Floor ex finals on August 5th 1 will probably be Sovereign sparkle and she still has a chance to win 3 more Gold medals and maybe a silver on beam which would give her 12 medals over all 8 Gold 2 Silver 2 Bronze this years team was the oldest in 76 years average age 22.2 the average age in 1948 was 26

Trying not to be negative here. Watched her floor exercise and couldn't help but notice she stepped out of bounds twice. Also noticed the announcers saying nothing about it. Are they scared to comment? Are they directed not to comment? It wasn't as flawless as they made it appear.
If you can t see her talent then you are dense. She is like no other. Not only is she the GOAT- what she's had to go through to get here is beyond comprehension-it is truly a monuMENTAL miracle. Such a great role model as well. To say she was captivating is an understatement. Something is wrong with a person who's unable to see such immense talent. BEST in the 5 decades of olympics I have witnessed.

Gymnastics takes a lot of strength, balance, muscle and mind co ordination and endurance more than most sports due to strain on the body especially ankles and spine.
