Not just any straw will do. Most are too large especially if the object piece is particularly small. I found that coffee straws at the mini-mart worked great, but the speed of blowing took practice. Great technique @
Awesome video! May I know what kind of clay do you use for the bisque piece? I saw the pic you have in the first few seconds in your video, the base looks really clean and white and it works great with bubble glaze. Do you paint base coat first?
You can prevent this from happening by turning the bowl around faster. I have made a more detailed video about this technique, see link in description😊
Yes, I fire it after applying the bubbles. And it is necessary to put a clear glaze over it, if you want to use it to eat or drink. Otherwise the surface will be rough and not food safe.
I don't think you can substitute it with something. I have a more in depth video about this technique and about different underglazes: ruclips.net/video/anyzzit-KVI/видео.html
@@caldervanandel Am I wrong or did you NOT show you using the clear glaze in the water, soap and blue underglaze mix? In other words, therefore, I'm not sure if or where the clear glaze comes into the process. Please advise.

Stir the UNDERglaze, and use 1 spoonful of UNDERglaze. Beginners confuse glaze and underglaze all the time, sometimes with unhappy results. No need to perpetuate the confusion.
I saw a video by someone with no music added and it was great . All the comments mentioned how much they appreciated no music. But to each his own and many might love it . It just made me want to switch to another video or I guess i could just turn volume off after discovering you were not providing narration . 😎
Here from tiktok and totally loving this glaze idea!!
Hey, do you know if you can do this on greenware- or should it always be done on bisque because of the wetness? Great video, love your work!
I generally say bisque fire then glaze for any glaze technique. I find the glazes are more vivid after bisque and then firing the 2nd time.

Great technique @

Wow! Easier than i thought it would be. Can you use 2or more colors? Thanks so much.
I tried this on two bowls, but I was getting some drips on the pot. how do you stop this from happening? Thanks for the great idea and video.

Thank for the video. I have a question do you fire the object in the kiln after applying the bubbles? Is it essential to put a glaze over it?
Yes, I fire it after applying the bubbles. And it is necessary to put a clear glaze over it, if you want to use it to eat or drink. Otherwise the surface will be rough and not food safe.
Thank you!
U really explained beautifully! Which clear gaze u are using?
Followed you from Instagram. Thanks! Give this a shot when things get back to normal at our studio.

Me too. I like the look of the finished products a lot! Time to buy some underglazes, I suppose.
Nice work
What clear glaze do you use?
Thanks for a great and informative explanation.
What's an underglaze pls? And what can I substitute it with

@@caldervanandel thank you for the prompt response
Where can I buy the glazes?
Pena que No está traducido. El trabajo hermoso.!!
Can I use regular glaze? Or must it be underglaze?
I always use underglaze, but I've seen people using other glazes!

The music was very distracting or irritating in the background . Although the info was interesting
I'm sorry about that, I'll try to find less distracting music.
