Well isn't this just soothing and relaxing to watch.
Bbn. In
and she is hot and loving without even trying x
@Cornelius Quiring Not only relaxing to watch but also relaxing to do. I used to make pottery myself, but as I watch those professionals, I am always astonished, what they are capable to do. It looks easier than it is and my problem was always, to come up with good ideas of what to achieve and how to do it. Congrats to the potter.
I love that is doesn't have any music. It very relaxing with just the motor in the background and the comments. :D Great work too!
There is actually quite a lot of music in it but yeah, it doesn't need all of that. Maybe a subtle tone here and there would be enough. And the soothing of the silent parts is really the strength here.
it's amazing 💖 super creative pottery technique
Mind blown👍👍👍👍👍
Umm are you deaf?!!!
I taught pottery in secondary school over 30 years... this lovely young woman has it down to a science.
She loves what she does and it shows with her finished pieces.
I would love to see her do a drilled piece in an in-ground “Raku” firing 😘 during the summer of course 🤗❣️
I'm so impressed with her precision. I've not seen this kind of attention to detail in quite a while! Amazing job! Thank you for sharing!
I was a hand built potter and I absolutely loved the results of raku firing.
No, she doesn’t. She centers weird, she finishes her wedging on the wheel and she doesn’t have the common sense to use wax in the bottom of her bisque pieces prior to dipping them in glaze!

Catharine is simply amazing. She had an amazing presence on screen. I wish she had her own dedicated channel. You guys did an amazing job filming and editing. More of Catharine I say! MORE!!!
The studio actually does have their own channel.
That was lovely - so relaxing to watch. And I learned more in 20 minutes than in my entire year of first year ceramics. Not kidding - those teachers didn't explain why various things were done, so what the students did was very much hit and miss. It is a real joy to be able to work in a creative job.
RUclips: Here’s a new channel that has nothing to do with your search/watch history.
Me: 4 hours later at 2:37am... I’ve never thought about clay fruit baskets, eh let’s watch anyways.
Same
I was going to say that same exact thing! It's so relaxing too. Never seen pottery being made before but this has been my 3rd or 4th video I've watched now and I have absolutely no idea how I got here, oh and its 1:30am (I need to get up for work at 5:30am) but I can't seem to stop watching...
That happened to me back in August last year. Now I have a pottery wheel, and am trying to purchase a second hand kiln
12:40 I love the signature!
It's pretty cute.
I like this artists style.
It’s simple and elegant, it’s neutral and bold.
I will own some of her stuff in the future.
realy amazing thank you I fell relaxed this night
if you were a beginner in the pottery wheel, you'd feel stressed by this video haahha
Excellent photography and clear instructions and voice is clear. Thank you for not crapping it up with music or extra sound effects!
Thank you! That was direct, informative and beautiful in its calmness. Proof that we don't need irritating music over under and between all action when we watch something interesting.
That gray clay body is beautiful.
Catherine, thank you for sharing your techniques and architectural prowess! Stereokroma, thank you for a very high quality of documenting; sharing it is just very neighborly of you, thank you so much!
My God you make that looks so easy. But i have done it and it is far from it! U do incredible work and it is so encouraging to see someone living their passion. I pray for your continued success and one day i will buy one of your labor’s of love.
The captions in this video are gold. My favorites are "Glove sounds", "quiet rubbing" and "music - electrical start of kiln". Thanks captioner.
Beautiful! What a wonderful design for a fruit bowl. Very much enjoyed watching her make this!
Beautiful! Mesmerizing by just watching the process. Thank you, mademoiselle!
I’m taking a ceramic class and I really just learned everything on my own from online videos. Looking at this gives me ideas of how to design my own stuff.
Be inspired. Please don't duplicate.
Mesmerizing. Good to see more videos from this channel.
I love watching people throw, but I love even more that you explain what you're doing and why! 🥰
So happy to see an upload. Loved the video!
and that was the most beautiful demonstration of throwing I have ever seen! I love the color of the clay, gorgeous grey to awesome chocolate and that wonderful fruit bowl, wow, gonna watch it again.
How. Passionately, dedicatedly, lovely you made the bowl!🥰
This was so educational. You answered many unanswered questions I’ve had
Love the scene at the end illustrating the progression from turned/thrown to the finished piece out of the kiln. Well done.
Absolutely magnificent. Gorgeous. I understand and appreciate the final product because it showcases the versatility of the material, but the finished bowl without the holes is more beautiful to me.
Her stuff is really cool looking & her prices are VERY reasonable. I was honestly surprised. I live in the lower income bracket & I'm thinking of buying a fruit bowl.
Her prices are reasonable because she CHEATS.
@@tanial.williamson8082 how does one cheat at pottery
Thx for this precious video!
thanks for being so descriptive in your methodologies, *cath* … and thanks, also, for not being _'chatty'_ … all the best to you.
Those are so cool looking!
Absolutely stunning.
So beautiful!!!
I made a fruit bowl just like this in high school! Love the way you can see the contents of the bowl peeping through the holes.
Thank you for sharing this video. Your fruit bowls are beautiful 🌺🌸

Beautiful work!
What a beautiful view from the window in your studio - so light filled and airy.
Fabulous!
I am impressed..... and it takes a lot to impress me.
Really beautiful!
I've never heard centring described that way! Much more poetic than "making it spin evenly"
Good morning. I wish you a happy day. My name is Taha, and I hope that you will be friends
Fantastically skilled... How can anyone 'thumbs down' this?
Beautiful. Both you and your art pieces.
That was a very relaxing ASMR experience for me. Lovely work
Thank you. I've never seen it done from start to finish before. You explain each step clearly, except I missed when you must have cleaned up the holes after drilling them. Wonderful.
Tank you, very much, inspiring for learning the formation of ceramics
So satisfying to see each step of the process...
Wow! Gorgeous work!!
19:54 oh my goodness look at that cute lil’ proud face 🥰 what a sweetheart...beautiful video with beautiful art!
Absolutely Beautiful. And so is the pottery.
Thank you so much for showing the complete project.
Beautiful bowl! I checked out the website and was surprised at how affordable these pieces are. With that much labor, I would expect them to cost much more.
Watching this video was not just instructive, but so... relaxing.
Very nicely demonstrated. Thanks for the video.
