I understand wanted something spoiled, I've done that to myself enough times to appreciate that fact, but there's something wrong with someone going out of their way to spoil a big part of the story for someone else who never asked for it. Kevin, if you're reading this, thanks for just taking a minute just to show how serious that was, and I hope that whatever was in the chat turns out to be a joke.

He actually died a bit after the beginning of RE7, but the Mold that infected the Baker family infected him as well. Ethan’s gimmick is that his body is all mold, which gives him essentially wolverine tier healing. The only person that actually causes him to truly die would be Miranda via ripping out his heart. He survived initially, but his body began falling apart soon after.
All I could think of was Kevin's Tomodachi Life streams with Default singing her song ("you're driving me neutral"). Wait! Was Kevin Default all along?

To remark on the playing one game for a long time or continuing to change them thing: I actually really like the playthroughs. Sometimes you wanna sit down and watch someone for awhile going through one long game rather than a new game every 15-30 minutes or so while you do stuff. Hoping for more playthroughs in the future. Their house at the beginning is really like the one in Uncharted 4 and Amnesia: Rebirth to me, excapt way more uncanny. Not because they're identical copies but the ambience of them is very similar. I feel like overall it's not that scary of a game. It's definitely great and has some great scary moments, but there's a lot of action. Maybe that's why his heart rate is so chill lol
In my opinion, Resident Evil as a series is not horror. It's action thriller with scifi elements. 7 was definitely a horror game, but if you look at the other games, it's really more about cool action scenes and guns etc. It really rides the line though, so I'm willing to concede if other people consider it horror.
To me, Resident Evil has always been an action game with horror elements. RE7 is the only RE that's a horror game with action elements, though its still not full horror. An example of a true horror game for me is outlast, because the only options you have is run or hide, which makes the entire setting much scarier.

i’m loving the increase in bigger gaming channels with less yelling. was never a markiplier fan (for no particular reason, just wasn’t) but i tended to gravitate towards smaller channels that were less yell-y back in the day bc eek. i guess with the exception of dan and phil, but i think they did their best to make dan quieter with audio editing although there’s only so much you can do there lmao, but yeah, it’s nice. the loudest i’ve ever heard kevin be is when he shouted “MY WIFE” during one of the earliest chaos mod playthroughs

I don't know if Kevin would ever see this but I would love to see a video of him learning Irish Gaelic! I'm from the US but I have family in Ireland who teach Gaelic and are a part of Gaelic immersion programs so it would be cool to see Gaelic on a platform as large as Kevin's!

Kevin is so used to chaos and utter destruction that the second he enters a calming situation his hear rate spikes through the roof out of fear or the unknown calmness
I feel like overall it's not that scary of a game. It's definitely great and has some great scary moments, but there's a lot of action. Maybe that's why his heart rate is so chill lol
In my opinion, Resident Evil as a series is not horror. It's action thriller with scifi elements. 7 was definitely a horror game, but if you look at the other games, it's really more about cool action scenes and guns etc. It really rides the line though, so I'm willing to concede if other people consider it horror.

To me, Resident Evil has always been an action game with horror elements. RE7 is the only RE that's a horror game with action elements, though its still not full horror. An example of a true horror game for me is outlast, because the only options you have is run or hide, which makes the entire setting much scarier.

I used to love watching his video's, but he's just so loud and screams all the time. It gets annoying having to lower the volume when he talks and not be able to hear the game
i’m loving the increase in bigger gaming channels with less yelling. was never a markiplier fan (for no particular reason, just wasn’t) but i tended to gravitate towards smaller channels that were less yell-y back in the day bc eek. i guess with the exception of dan and phil, but i think they did their best to make dan quieter with audio editing although there’s only so much you can do there lmao, but yeah, it’s nice. the loudest i’ve ever heard kevin be is when he shouted “MY WIFE” during one of the earliest chaos mod playthroughs
