You get seeds by waiting for them to mature "seed bearing" versions of themselves. It will say "Ready to Harvest", but if it doesn't say "Seed bearing" then WAIT to harvest until it says it!! Otherwise you won't get seeds back, and will have to find more. The amount of fuel in generators doesn't affect their weight. And also, you can pick up a generator at any amount of your own encumbrance, you simply need to "Right-click, Take Generator". When you make fish, it's recommended that you grab a knife (perhaps one of the 3 hunting knives you found in the closet of your new home) and fillet the fish prior to cooking them. Eat what you can, and Freeze the rest. With firearms, so long as you have the requisite Shotgun Shells on you, hitting 'R' will reload your weapon. To add the sling to your weapon, (or any "Weapon Part") you need to be holding a screwdriver. Potatoes don't cook. You can add them to a Soup, Stew, or Stir fry, but they don't cook individually. (Which is...dumb, since a baked potato is extremely different compared to a raw one, but... PZ is still technically early access I suppose. 🤷 You'll want to let your clothes finish washing, else they don't get clean. A great way to use up Stale meats, and veggies, is to cook them into a Stew. All you need is a cooking pot with water. The water can even be "Tainted" rain/lake water, since it's being boiled in the process of cooking the food. All cans need can openers, EXCEPT for Tuna, and Corned Beef. All rotten food (of ANY kind) should be put into the Composter. They're very cheap, and easy to make, and create compost to increase your farms productivity. So, if any of the above points help in any way, I'll feel like I've paid it forward just a bit. Especially since I likely wouldn't have ended up buying/playing this game if not for your videos on it.
At higher cooking levels you are use rotten food. You can put already cooked fillets bck into into any cooking tool (oven, fire etc) and mouse over it, once its "warm" you will it gives a "happy" boost, eat it then rather than cold A bowl is an amazing tool to have on you. You can make salads and fruit salads as long as you have a knife. These will give huge boost to mood and also can be a way to use stale food. Hey ! Got a few tips for ya if you read the comments ! So putting stuff in backpacks does help to reduce the weight, I do it all the time. It also saves time transporting stuff too. But basically on backpacks (even bags like trash bags) you have some weight reduction value. You can also rename them, I usually take a lot of trash bags, rename them to "Medicine" "Food" and whatnot, and throw that in the back of my car. And also, for guns, the best weapon is the shotgun to practice. Simply gather a lot of zombies in a tight spot, get a bit of distance, STOP WALKING as walking severly reduces your character's accuracy, and take a shot once the zombies are green. Also make sure you have no panic moodlets or something, as it also reduces your accuracy.

Hey Kevin, most important, I think you’re due for heli event if you have it turned on so you’ll need to be prepared to defend your farm because the dead are COMING. Here’s a few friendly tips! to put the sling on, you need a screwdriver, there’s also silencers which need a screwdriver and you can make silencers with water bottles as well. Also, your gun may jam, normally as it wears down but occasionally at brand new durability too. What you’ll neeed to do is either open your inventory or hover over the gun on the top left and right click, then left click “rack shotgun” or “unjam gun” and that will fix the jam. I also highly recommend you make it so the zombies turn green when you are both aiming a gun and your axe, it’ll help you not miss swing and you’ll time your swings perfectly. Hope that helps!
The peer pressure lol "you should take up smoking, it's been helping me"

I was scared u werent gonna post another part to this but thankfulkly its here!!!!!!!!
"Some idiot put a stake in this one thinking it was a vampire." His name is Francis and be nice to him :(
Absolutely love the series, please give us more! Is there a full list of mods they use somewhere?
Btw Kevin - you can destroy doors with melee weapons 😂The firefighter axe is super for it :D
Definitely not Kevin when's the third episode coming up? I've seen these first two (and yours stand alone series) nearly 10 times each already! When your videos are this good you've got a responsibility man 😂😂😂 (also feels really good watching someone play PZ with a friend, makes me wonder how it feels like 😂😂😢😢)
Yeees! I just finished the first episode today, and was sad that it ended. So happy you guys kept playing this!
I'm enjoying this a lot! It is fun to see you try things you have explored less in the game. Watching people learn Zomboid is very entertaining. There is just so much to find.
I'm loving this playthrough of PZ!
I’m glad you make longer videos because I watch you a lot. This is great game to watch when I eat.
I'm so glad you're continuing the farm boys series! I love your PZ videos, and multiplayer makes it even more fun!
These Zomboid vids are the best! Hope to see more of em!
I hope he does more 🥺. I love it so much as well.
seriously loving these zomboid vids
19:30 Louisville factory/museum
1:07:30 This was instructive; I'd never seen anyone use guns in this game (I guess people are just too afraid of making noise).
13:09 "where did they all come from" like he and "kevin" didn't just alert a building full of zombies of their presents lol
I learn incredibly useful strategies from your videos. Thank you for this entertaining long-form content!!
This is the ideal youtube series for me, please keep going
I have a suspicion that these last couple of videos have been a bit of a test for Kevin's plans for The Man 2 on the main channel
Omg I’ve been feigning for more!! Thank you Jacob!
I hope you all keep going with this one. You are so fun to watch!
My family is from Kentucky, we have a house in Louisville and that park on the map (Cherokee? Seneca??) and the Louisville Slugger Factory would put you on the East End, somewhat near said house. Its surreal seeing that in ANY video game. 😂
57:08 aw shit, life and living! **nosedives over fence**
I love this playthrough I hope you guys keep it up and actually finish it through instead of like other youtubers that just drop the playthrough half way for something else.
I came from watching this on TV just to say that I admire the amount of editing put into these series. Love it.
Also a question - do you mind sharing some basic settings you put? Like the zombie population, are there respawns, infection on and so?
I like the reg videos but I also like these lightly edited vods too and chill gameplay, good for company while I do chores lol
yayy more longform content!
I’m so glad I found these today, they helped me on my sick day home from work. I am looking forward to the next one!!
So much better than Kevin
Just to let you know that your videos are what showed zomboid to me and started playing it, I now play it with my brothers who live in different countries who I never see otherwise, so thanks for showing me it. It’s such a realistic game it’s mad
Love the vid so far! Don’t know if y’all thought of it so far, but you can actually reduce panic indoors by knocking out walls and basically living in a big open house! I think the specific dimensions are online…
MORE OF THIS!!!!!! BOTH OF YOU!!!!!
i love this series so much. i love the long episodes and the way it is done. i watch allot of youtube and this is my favourite at the minute.
Hope they come back to this one, this is my favorite Kevin game
I love these long videos of you guys playing! It never gets boring. Thank you for all the effort. :)
Not-Kevin and Max is my fav content! Don’t even need to edit it lol, I actually prefer unedited long format videos lol, but I’m just super happy to know that they still play games together. Hope they’re both doing grand
Hope that helps!
i will never get tired of project zomboid content
Same!!!
Hey Not Kevin, these long-form project Zomboid videos with you and Max are amazing, loving this :)))) happy holidays :))))))
i really do hope they play and upload more - such a fun run
The most farming you guys have done is candy farming 🍭
