For Snape coughing I learned they switched the audio files on accident. So Snape was supposed to have lines when he caught you but they messed up and put the wrong file and just never fixed it. I also know this game was rushed during development.
Another tidbit: Apparently if you throw dungbombs at random people, including Snape, it can sometimes get them to say lines of dialogue that belong to other characters, or some lines that were completely cut from the game and normally are never heard. To quote what I found: "Throwing Dungbombs at certain characters occasionally causes them to either say dialogue belonging to other characters or that was removed from the game. For example, throwing Dungbombs at Snape causes him to start saying Sir Cadogan's dialogue. Throwing Dungbombs at Parvati Patil causes her to talk about owl racing which she won't say if you talk to her via normal means. These are not "Easter Eggs," it is in fact a glitch in the game."
@@dylanzlol7293 They're cut, in the sense that they're not actually *supposed* to show up under normal circumstances. It's a bug that loads the wrong voice lines, the same as Snape coughing. It just happens to load dialogue that wasn't actually used anywhere in the game, and only loads by accident when doing this specific thing. I get what you're saying. They're in the files, so they weren't cut out of the game itself completely. But, honestly, it's splitting hairs. This world is rapidly passing away and I hope that you repent and take time to change before all out disaster occurs! Belief in messiah alone is not enough to grant you salvation - Matthew 7:21-23, John 3:3, John 3:36 (ESV is the best translation for John 3:36) if you believed in Messiah you would be following His commands as best as you could. If you are not a follower of Messiah I would highly recommend becoming one. Call on the name of Jesus and pray for Him to intervene in your life - Revelation 3:20. Contemplate how the Roman Empire fulfilled the role of the beast from the sea in Revelation 13 over the course of 1260+ years. Revelation 17 confirms that the beast is in fact Rome. From this we can conclude that A) Jesus is the Son of God and can predict the future or make it happen, B) The world leaders/nations/governments etc have been conspiring together for the last 3000+ years going back to Babylon and before, C) History as we know it is fake. You don't really need to speculate once you start a relationship with God. Can't get a response from God? Fasting can help increase your perception and prayer can help initiate events. God will ignore you if your prayer does not align with His purpose (James 4:3) or if you are approaching Him when "unclean" (Isaiah 1:15, Isaiah 59:2, Micah 3:4). Stop eating food sacrificed to idols (McDonald's, Wendy's etc) stop glorifying yourself on social media or making other images of yourself (Second Commandment), stop gossiping about other people, stop watching obscene content etc. Have a blessed day!
What's great about this is that in the books Harry says at the end if Lupin had wanted him dead he could have tried to kill him hundreds of times in the year.... He kinda did try in this game 🤣
this game was the best, i'd give it bean out of kevin. thank you kevin for giving us quality content, it has actually improved my life and worldview and we all appreciate you so much!
This was one of the only games we had growing up that wasn't singstar (we won the Playstation in a school competition lol). I remember my sisters and I thinking it was the hardest game EVER and even after years of trying we never made it to hogwarts. Seeing Kevin beat it 2 minutes into the video was devastating. That dementor on the train was our ultimate boss
Yeah but children who didnt read the books or pay attention watching the films would have no idea why their A grade was near failing. In the books their school grades are gone over once or twice, and I'm not sure if they're went over in the movies at all. Maybe in the one where harry is despairing over them due to Snape teaching poshuns and he needs it for his career goals. It makes perfect sense to use a grading system most people understand even if they don't use it themselves in a game that is clearly made in mind children ages 7-12 as the target audience.
Seeing Kevin go back to the Harry Potter games years later fills me with joy! And the fact that he’s doing the whole game in one video is even better keep it up Kevin I’m absolutely loving these videos, hopefully you can do the first 2 on pc next!

Thank you Kevin. I've been having a horrible day, and this made me smile.
An hour of ps2 Harry Potter with Kevin is just *chefs kiss*
"Hello, Disused Bathroom. It's good to see you both." 😂
I had the PC version of this game when I was a kid and I would play it over and over again, super interesting to see all the differences
I started watching thinking "Oh man I remember all this!" but was so confused as it went on and realised how different the PC and PS2 versions are, I really hope Kevin can do the PC version as well because it was so good haha
PC version FUCKS so hard i miss it
this brings back so many memories from my childhood, keep it up Kevin, youre doing great
Thank you Kevin, I've been having a rough period for the past couple weeks and zoning out for an hour and just enjoying some nostalgic harry potter play through is exactly what I needed, you're awesome!
This might not mean much from an internet stranger, but I really hope things work out for you soon. Bad times don't last last forever.
@@FirstFallSnow no it still means a lot, thanks for caring dude, I appreciate you
One hour of deadly spellbook dungeons and collecting ingredients for a potion, 10 minutes of "oh yeah, the plot of this game's namesake"
I don't know why, but Kevin's HP videos have this charm behind them, the Gmod series was golden.
I just noticed that it's an hour long too lol.
Kevin calling Harry and Ron tweedledee and tweedledoo is killing me
As a kid, I spent literally hours at the part where you have to save past-harry from the dementors. The patronus just moved so slow and you were so far away that if you missed a shot, it took so long to get your patronus back over there. In hindsight, not that difficult.
One of the best things that ever happened to me was finding this channel. Your videos are beyond entertaining and hilarious. I love your sense of humor and it doesn’t feel like it’s forced in any way. Your commentary is also insightful to people who haven’t played too and relatable for those, such as myself, who have played these games, and I think Prisoner of Azkaban for PS2 is definitely up there as one of the best games. I thought just about everything you said which was so pleasing to hear knowing that someone else felt confused or amused by certain quirks in the game! Thank you for what you do, and I’m happy to see you’re still going strong with new videos. Thank you for everything Kevin!
These were my favorite games and it's so cozy and fun to watch you play. The long playthroughs are such a treat! I put this off for a few hours so I could curl up and really enjoy. I hope you feel better/get better and your voice was just fine.
These hour long videos of Kevin visiting all of these nostalgic games genuinely gives me a deep level of comfort that no other RUclipsr can give me. Thank you, Kevin!
Oh god, I remember the stealthy parts being incredibly hard as a kid
Ron gaslighting Harry "no one screamed!!" 😂
Dear Kevin, I can express enough how much I enjoy the Harry Potter saga! The old ones was when I founded your channel and sense that I have being a fan. And every time when I get sad or life isn't going that well, like magic you post something like this! Thank you so much, for making me smile when it's hard times ☆ You're the best
Your commentary is honestly the best thing about your Harry Potter vids!
What's great about this is that in the books Harry says at the end if Lupin had wanted him dead he could have tried to kill him hundreds of times in the year.... He kinda did try in this game 🤣
30:47 Not only are they all standing around doing nothing, this bloke is floating in midair...
Kevin is my absolute top comfort RUclipsr. These long videos are my life blood at this point
27:58 At first I thought that it's probably coincidence, but then again, Malfoy made a potion that canonically takes a month, so this must be planned
1 hour and 10 minutes of Kevin playing one of his favorite Harry Potter games this is awesome!!
Ron always wanting to go to bed is such a mood lol
this game was the best, i'd give it bean out of kevin. thank you kevin for giving us quality content, it has actually improved my life and worldview and we all appreciate you so much!
PS2 Hagrid might not be as Shreksy as PS1 Hagrid, but he's still a snacc.
I love how Hagrid gives you an A because Americans made this game but in Potterlamd it's equivalent to like a C-
Yeah but children who didnt read the books or pay attention watching the films would have no idea why their A grade was near failing.
@@xFukairix nah they never bring the whole system in the movies, only the highest grade I think? when Harry has the DATDA exam
@@xFukairix "poshuns" lool ... "poshuns"
@@KoboldPip If you couldn't tell I did that intentionally.

"How do you do Ron?"
*Turns around to see Ron whit a big pumpkin face*
"Not so great I see"
🤣🤣
Seeing Kevin go back to the Harry Potter games years later fills me with joy! And the fact that he’s doing the whole game in one video is even better keep it up Kevin I’m absolutely loving these videos, hopefully you can do the first 2 on pc next!
I'm super sick right now and I'm watching one hour of Kevo right now. This is what a fever dream looks like.
After almost four years, you finally finished the game, I’m so happy!
The "Harry O' Potter" line just about killed me.
"Take the cats' soul instead". but Kevin, it's a ginger cat.
