What happened to the stopping mid cycle part. That's what mine is doing
Helped a ton diagnosing my issue thanks !!
Thank you! This fixed my washer.
Thank you for making this video. My Maytag just stopped and acted like it was dead. If I could have unlocked the top I would have drained it and hauled it off. I watched your video and reset it with my screwdriver across the plug ends and that got it going. I had never heard of clearing someone with the plug. It was a GREAT HELP and I appreciate you doing it. Thanks again.
Mine has to spin that flashing in the control knob won't change nothing what could be wrong
I have this exact model. Only Rinse and Spin and Drain and Spin cycles work properly. My control board has the green light, water inlet valve appears to work correctly and doing the test gives no flashing lights. Would that be a control board issue? Please help if possible!
Im having the same problem did you find a solution?
This Video is so Complete.. it is Wonder but for some Reson my washer Dosen’t Turns the lights on , and I can hear the pump working and I know the pump is not the problem cause I already test it , I plugged it and there’s no light come on all I can hear is the pump working and there’s still water in there .. I hope you can help me with it . Thank you....

@Laura Brown I'm having a similar issue and even though the testing leads me to believe it isn't the water drain pump, I am 90% sure it is. Twice I had a load washing but when it came to draining it just sat there. I had to manually empty about 10 gallons of water twice before I decided to lightly tap on the pump. I can hear the blades inside hitting the side of the pump when I do. I believe that's where the sound you're describing is coming from. Mine occasionally made it too. Pump should arrive this Wednesday so I'll know for sure before Thursday.
This is exactly what mine has started doing 🤦🏻♀️😩
I have one like this one but my doesn't turn the lights on and it's just doing a noise under

@@Appliancevideo Do you guys do walk throughs if we order parts through you? I have my own voltmeter from my past household electrical work and fixed my dryer two years ago. The problem is just getting the top off. None of the videos seem to show a consistent trick to doing it and I am just wanting to order my control panel or board which are looking to be the issue.
Can anyone give me insight on why my maytag washer bravos XL won't go into final spin cycle?

Maytag should be ashamed of themselves. This is hands down the biggest piece of shit washing machine my mother has ever owned and started having problems after 6 months from buying it, and NOT covered under warranty!
Yup. My washer is not even 2 years old and it doesn't finish a full cycle. Its so frustrating 😫 I don't have the money to go buy a new washer again
I rather have the old washers back at least they would run and run right for many years these new washers tare up all the time. I hate this maytag washer nothing but trouble.
It's not just maytag. This is a whirlpool vertical modular washer they just slap any name on them. All these machines suffer from low quality
I see that the light on the board is on and steady, mines is flashing when I pulled the cover off. Is that an indication of a bad board as well?

Only 18 months since I bought my MVWB765WH washer it stops on "wash" and goes no farther. Latch is in lock mode. I can drain by shutting off the machine. What is causing this machine to stop on the wash cycle over and over and over. Maytag used to be a quality product but they have gone right down the tubes and their warranty is garbage. 1 year and you are on your own. The so called 10 year one they proudly show with a sticker on the machine is worthless too. It only covers the tub and motor. Sorry I got sucked into buying this one.. my old Amana's I left with my home I sold lasted years and were the best ever anyone could want. I wish I bought that brand again. Maytag's suck!
Stop and goes
If you machine flows water while set to hot water it is your water inlet screen clogged. Pull it out and clean it. Use needle nose pliers and it pulls out like a Cork. Screw all this diagnostic testing. Something so simple took me all day to troubleshoot. Hit like if it worked. I had mine stuck in sensing mode. Try this if just hot works.
Maytags are pieces of shits. I’ve had nothing but issues with both my washer and dryer since I bought them. So over it! Washer frequently stops without warning. No flashing no beeping it just sits there. My dryer frequently blows fuses and thermostats.
These washers are trash, going back to the older models...
Agree, pure garbage. Nothing beats old school.
