Joe, I am with you on the seats. I struggle with finding good/comfortable seats. I say I need to upgrade the seats in my Colorado. Don’t be like the Grizwald’s in European Vacation and get stuck in the round-a-bout. “Look kids, Big Ben and Parliament.” 😀
Babble - you really need to use it for any International trips. I love stick shift and Kate if you can master manual transmission - you can drive anything!
You guys have made it to your new, rental van!! I'm glad that there are familiar parts to your van-thank goodness! Take care, and enjoy yourselves out there, guys!!🤗💕🚙🌺
Being a pro might actually have been a hindrance. When you know how an American system works you're working against yourself to learn a foreign system.
Roundabouts... they are slowly becoming more plentiful in Oregon. We have one nearby, along a decommissioned state highway that was superceded by an Interstate. The traffic actually flows much better through the intersection, except when someone freezes going into it. Thanks for bringing us all along with you.
I’ve been to Italy several times and finding parking even with a small vehicle was always a challenge (and small by Italian standard, in the US these small cars would be considered a bike 😂) Looking forward to hearing more about your trip and might try to same next time we’re in Italy. 🥳
Welcome in Europe!! We are follow you on youtube a wile and now you are here in our nabor-country Italy. We are in Switzerland (zürich) hope you have a Wonderful stay and Vanlifeexpiriance! Greatings form Lis and Franky
Hi guys 😃 I’m looking forward to your adventures in Italy! I’m also looking forward to seeing some of the awesome authentic Italian dishes you’ll be sampling (I must confess that I’m a tiny bit jealous lol)! Glad to see that you made it across the pond with only relatively minor issues…Ciao for now ❤️✌🏼
I did an rv move for a discount rate last year to test out a truck camper. F350 with less then 300km and the camper still had brand new smell. Was a great way to test it out for 2 weeks. 9 dollars a night. But the 500 gas card was quickly eaten.
Neat! A liter is just over a quart, something like 0.26 gallons, so it's something like 3.87 liters to the gallon if I remember right; it's been a while.
So excited for you! On one of our yearly trips to Southern Italy we found a RV campground on the beach in Tropea, Calabria. Hope that you can get a chance to get there. The south is way better than the north, except for Tuscany.
Wonderful video to get first hand knowledge of renting a Class B van in Italy. Would definitely rent from them. This is good marketing for them too since probably 100,000 Subscribers will likely watch this video at some point. Italy is trying to preserve their cultural heritage so speaking Italian is helpful for them
Those of us who put a deposit down for the Wingamm 540.1, are still waiting for it to come to the US. There always seems to be some delay. Frustrating. Hopefully, it won't be much longer. Until then, I'll keep living vicariously through your adventures. Have fun. Arrivederci
Enjoy your trip. I'm watching from my Travato in a shipshewana campground. If you do take an American made camper van to Europe is the electrical hook up a problem?
You don't use the blinker much, do you? It's elegant in a roundabout to do so, to let others know what you intend to do. It's also the law, but that doesn't apply to americans, of course :)
I traveled for over 30 years for work. Rental vehicles always have a full tank. They even ask you upon departure from the rental facility. Curious as to why their policy is 100% different?
Many rental companies, even in the US, will give you a car without a full tank and tell you to return it with the same it more fuel in it. Works out for them because you typically bring it back with more than when you left. Our last rental through Hertz was like this
I found Italian drivers in cities made me very nervous. Stay alert. I'm surprised that you got so little of a tutorial and that the new RV was not prepped for rental. Why did you not know what vehicle you reserved ?
Had you shipped your van over to Europe, you would have found out that Europe runs on 220 Volt, 50 cycle current, and your propane fittings would not have been compatible with the European fittings.
Thanks for watching! You can find more Italy Van Life videos here ruclips.net/p/PLpqJFyT0tg-KlOCGcuiTOmiNyg54JMkU_
Thanks for another installment of The adventures of We're the Russos. Happy travels.
Enjoy your trip in Italy. It was very interesting when I was there. The food is awesome.

Thank you. This was very informative. Safe travels. 😊
Love your adventure, waiting for the next leg of your trip. Love he Russos.
Enjoyed Part 1 and looking forward to hearing about the rest of the trip. Can’t believe how lucky you are to be the first renters in a brand new van!
Looking forward to the trip. We did camper van in Iceland and loved it. Always looking for other places to go.

Joe's getting materials for his next book😊 looking forward to the adventures.
Great video and look forward to your next video.
What a great trip you two are having. "La Dolce Vita!" The Sweet Life.
Looking forward to tagging along! Drive safe over there! Rules of the road are quite different! XOXO
Wow if seasoned pros like you guys are nervous, I can just imagine us newbies trying it! Can't wait to see the rest of your adventures there!
Being a pro might actually have been a hindrance. When you know how an American system works you're working against yourself to learn a foreign system.
Yep this is it exactly. We’re very comfortable with the system here and this is completely new
The faucet looks cool, what a great price for rentals, Holy cow! Can’t wait to follow your adventures abroad.
Vanlife Europe is high on my list of what’s next. Great video. Glad to see you in a van and off of the boat
Can’t wait for your next video 👍

Hey what company did you use!
@@alexmcmahonx Fraserway rv. It’s Canadian.
Have fun. Ill be watching.
Ahhh! I hope you are planning an entire series on Italy!! So excited! Venice is my favorite city in the world! ❤❤
Hello from the Moore Expo in Springfield, MO. Miss you guys.
Thanks! Enjoy the show
Neat! A liter is just over a quart, something like 0.26 gallons, so it's something like 3.87 liters to the gallon if I remember right; it's been a while.
Yep that’s correct!
An exciting challenge ahead, be safe. Can't tell if Joe was sucking in his stomach with the driving shots.😉😄

The small 18" Renault Camper Van does well in Roundabouts and the compact size is good for parking in the city. 😊.
You two are cute 😊
I loved all the explanations, thanks for the video!
Thank you! 😃

I can't keep it in any longer... REfrigerator!!! Lol
Love watching you guys!
That manual van would give Sean some trouble! Looks like fun. It was so nice meeting you both in Bisbee! Hope to chat more down the road. 💯
Keep it going for us & Mom !
"Seating for 4 and sleeping for 3." I'd hate to be person #4. LOL
It's a cool looking van.
Hope you will enjoy the time on my side of the pond….. greetings from Switzerland
Awesome video guys
Love watching your videos and hope to trade in my van for a storyteller in the future… love STO
Agree!!
Interesting, seems like an easy process and affordable. Another option might be AirBnBs and riding trains.
I'm with Kate, I'd want to tour them ALL! Watch out for parking tickets in Italy, they will hunt you down for payment even in the US...
Enjoy your trip. I'm watching from my Travato in a shipshewana campground. If you do take an American made camper van to Europe is the electrical hook up a problem?
I don’t know if they make converters but you wouldn’t be able to hook your van up without one
what is the name of the camper rental company?
Enjoy
That’s not a bad price for a rental and Rv sites 😊
What is the name of the Van rental place in this video ?
We start to Italy next saturday, but I guess you guys are maybe back home than
We are - enjoy!
Exiting!!
What company did you rent it from?
Where did you rent it?
What was the reason your original reservation couldn't be honored? Was this an 'upgrade' or 'downgrade'?
No reason this is just how it is there
I love Bologna. Go explore the city. It’s one of the best in Italy.
We will!

That’s why we chose our current van - huge battery bank that charges when we drive and no propane so we don’t need to plug in anywhere
Boss you can give me 1 job i can work is camper van
