Spain & Portugal Motorhome Road Trip 2024 part 1

After being missing from RUclips for a while we've finally done a major motorhome road trip worth making a video about. This is part 1 of our Portugal Motorhome Road Trip incorporating the journey through France and on to Spain where we made a few unplanned stops, San Sebastian, Zaragoza, Navarres, Gibralter and Seville at some great motorhome aires. Afterall, with motorhoming, don't they say it's the journey that matters, not the destination !

Good to see you guys again, looks like the start of a good trip. We finally managed to retire this year at 57 & 59. Did a month in France and Spain mid April to mid May avoided tolls and averaged 5 euro a night on free park ups and paid sites. Wish the UK had the same facilities. Cheers K

We've just come accross your channel as we are hoping to do the same route to Portugal in May. I notice you have removed the microwave and put a tambour door there instead. Was this an easy job and where did you get the door from. We have an Elddis 105 and don't use the microwave and think a cupboard would be more useful. Cheers.

Sorry for delay. Very easy to do. We have a great Moho spares/accessories place near us (Grimsby, Lincolnshire) called Magnum motorhomes. They do mail order too. The door was quite expensive, I seem to remember it was about £50. Far better use of the space though, if you don't use the microwave. Good luck and thanks for watching

I believe vehicle data sharing protocols ended with Brexit. Not sure the French authorities are able to easily access DVLA information now. You may be okay.
