Motorhome Tour - France and Spain Spring 2024 - Drive to the Mediterranean 😎 🇫🇷

- Hi we are Rod and Sue and this is our motorhome trip that we began in February 2024 to find some winter sun, we drive through France and into Spain
In this video stop we at Port Solent - Portsmouth, , Saturnin, Saint Flour and Argeles Sur Mer in France and Roses and Peniscola in Spain
Our Motorhome is a 2016 Burstner T660 which we purchased in 2018
Cameras Used on this trip were a DJI Pocket 3, Osmo Action, Insta 360 X2, and a Hover X1 (which didn’t get used a lot because of the wind)
Editing was done on a iPad Pro using Final Cut for iPad

Well done on the 😂very good video content Rod and Sue.👏 Your balance between filming, narration, music, meals, campsites and views and sights is just spot on. I've subscribed and look forward to some binge watching! 😅 We just finished our first 16 weeks tour of over 11,000kms down to Greece via France and Italy and back through the Balkans. Just brilliant. We can't wait for another one once the credit card has been saved! And the scorching summer sun subsides. We're also thinking of winter sun in Spain. Travel safely and be well. (See you through the window, somewhere!) 😂

Hi Guys. Unbelievably we have been watching your travels for a while now. We've just watched your 2023 trip part 2. Lion sur mer stop. We had chatted with you as we were in the silver burstner opposite in the car park. Both sat here and checked our dates. Can't believe we've only just made the connection. Safe travels. Thanks for sharing! We like to stop at the aire at the Port of Saint-Cyprien - easy walk to the beach, port and restaurants. On our way south we like Cambrils - Camping Llosa; super town with great food and nice walking. We stayed at the same aire as you in Peñiscola - good value and easy walk to town.

Enjoyed that one. Looked on the app at Argeles CCP, but ended up at the municipal one in St Cyprien.
Glad you liked that one 👍 CCP are handy because of not having to worry about reception times etc, we like municipal campsites good value and usually good locations
The camping car park scheme is fabulous - as we have to travel in peak times we have upgraded to the full pack privileges membership ❤ I can book ahead..worth every penny when travelling with kids.
Worth getting for sure - and no worries about reception times etc

Did you say the ferry crossing was 6hrs? Any idea re what the arrangements are re Dogs on that crossing? Great video - loved it!
The sub titles re the finer detail are brilliant for my note taking! 😊
Portsmouth - Caen is 6 hours and Brittany Ferries have on most routes dog friendly cabins that you can book - the other option is leaving them in the vehicle where you can make arrangements to visit them during the crossing, Brittany Ferries newer boats have kennels but not on that route, hope that helps - Thanks for watching and the comment 👍

Thanks 👍 😎🍷 yes we use the Emovis Tag, they have an office in Harrogate, using it does make life easier but there is a yearly charge and a monthly active fee, and for Spain/Portugal it is a different tag that has to be ordered separately (we haven’t got that one)
@@Travels_in_Campi thanks - so it's no cheaper (especially with those usage fees) but it's easier than leaning out of the window 🙈😂👍

Hi, can you tell me which toll tag you used through France? It looked like it made the toll road process much easier!
Hi, thanks for watching 👍 it does make the tolls easy - we use the Emovis Tag, they have an office in Harrogate and you can get a tag via their website, the Caravan Club were doing a discount code at one time?
