@SVGTuts Well, I didn't understand how to use the offset option, nor the contouring. I also didn't realize I needed to Change it to a basic cut, then back to print and cut. I just learned so much.
Please help! Thank you for this video, it is very helpful. I am having difficulty with print then cut. I have a rectangle shape and within the shape I have words and an additional shape (antlers). I want the words printed, but the rectangle and the interior shape cut out. So it is an invitation with the antlers cut out toward the bottom of the rectangle. I cannot do it! I can only cut everything or just the exterior shape which is the rectangle. I cannot get the antlers to also be cut. Is there a way to flatten only some of the layers? I can only select all or none.
Thank you for watching and commenting with a request for assistance. I'll make a video for you and have it posted soon, as in today! I just want to test the cut before making the video to make sure that I'm giving you solid information.
Many, many apologies for the delay. Here's the video I was supposed to get posted yesterday ruclips.net/video/Gf1PEw65SUY/видео.html. Please let me know if you have any more questions.
II have so many glitches/malfunction issues with design space ( align function and letter sizing not working, text editing menu not showing, editable images not editing etc…)that I am wondering if I should delete the program and reinstall it (again). Would that help?
On what device are you using Cricut Design Space; a laptop/desktop, tablet or phone? Also, are you using the live version or the beta version of Cricut Design Space?
Thanks for your question. Can you please expound a bit more on what exactly you need help with? Is it the Print Then Cut itself or the quality of the PNGs or something else?
@SVGTuts Hi. So, I make greeting cards in Canva. I create the text and graphics in Canva. I have to then download and save to my desktop. I then upload to cricut. But, when I print and cut the card. The text doesn't look crisp, it looks kinda blurry. Basically, it seems the quality of the image changes once uploaded and printed in Cricut.
Hi Faydra my question is not in regards to this video. My align button is not working. The align menu shows that the “ align center is already checked off and so nothing happens when I click on it. Why is that happening? It’s driving me crazy
Hey, Tatiana. If Align Center is disabled, that usually means that what you're trying to center is already centered or you haven't selected two or more layers that need to be centered.
Hi Faydra thank you for your reply. That makes sense. It’s happening when I try to center my text in one of those Cricut editable (pantry) labels Do you lead any Cricut course? That would be awesome
Oh! It's happening with text! This is something I need to create a video on. If I'm thinking of this correctly, then it has something to do with the font properties as to why it's not centering properly and won't let you center it. I'll work on a video. Yes, I'll be doing Cricut courses in the very near future, and I'll be doing live video conferences once I get my community site, SVG Tuts Crew, finished.
I got it to work, it was so easy after I watched your tutorial.
Awesome! I'm so glad to hear that! 🎉 Do you mind sharing the things you needed to modify to get it to work the way you needed it to?

Awwww. Got it.
Thanks!
I appreciate your help. You are a wonderful teacher!
Thanks so much for the super! ❤

Do you have a thanks button for your channel
I just enabled it. Thank you for asking and reminding me about it. 🙂
Do you have a video on getting good quality print and cut from Pngs imported from Canva and Etsy, please?

@SVGTuts I print on heavy cardstock, using the photo setting and best print quality. I also set it to 300 dpi.
Are you using Canva free or Canva Pro?

I’m looking forward to attending one of your live class/course. When you do, where would you post the class announcement?
I'll post it here on RUclips and in the SVG Tuts Crew community. 🙂
