Thank you for being honest up front and saying that this was only in BETA currently. I watched a couple other youtubers earlier this week and they never mentioned Beta at all. SO THANK YOU!! I think I will be waiting until the beta is fixed and they release it to regular subscribers......Great video!
Thank you! I always use a laminate sheet over my sticker sheet so this will be extremely helpful! I'm actually stoked that cricut is now having this feature! It was more work and took longer for cutting because I do use a laminate sheet over my sticker sheet making it a double thickness layer. Now I gotta go play and try this new feature! Awesome!
I wish I would have watched your video first. I had all the issues you did. I definitely agree it’s not worth it. I will continue to make stickers the way you do. Thank you Corinne.
Thanks for going over this new setting. I don't use Cricut sticker paper either so I'd probably just continue to do it manually like you've shown in the past. Unless I can match up the pressure that works for me with the same pressure for one of the presets. I really want to find time to learn the software for my new Silhouette to make stickers. Maybe after the holidays.
Hopefully now that it’s rolled into live, the glitches you experienced are fixed. I do think that it should allow for an adjustment of the cut settings for Cricut brands of materials since those are the only ones that seem available to choose from - that might allow for settings that work for the material of choice (?). Haven’t tried it yet since I had a different issue last night per my comment on 1 of your other print then cut videos. As always, thanks for the video, tips & honest opinion!
Admittedly, I mostly use my Cricut to cut out bag pattern pieces from SVG files, so being pretty clueless about most other Cricut functions, went ahead and tried create sticker function. After calibrating issues 😖…I was able to make stickers, yes I used Cricut products and I have DS sub. It all worked, except I selected die cut but got kiss cut. Glitch? Operator error? 🤷♀️I made waterproof, white holographic stickers. This is probably a limited function for an experienced Cricut person but for a newb or someone like me, lol, Cricut illiterate, it’s easy to use. Thanks for always having great tutorials. ❤
I am watching your video and was glad to see how detailed you were, that is until you got to the print setting where is was asking you to use a laminate sheet. There is no conitune button, so what did you do to get it to print?
There’s no question in print settings for laminate. It mentions the laminate when you are in the cut setting section. You do not need to press continue or anything it just tells you to do it kind of like when it tells you to mirror htv. You don’t actually have to do anything. Once you have selected your cut setting you just load the machine and it then you press the buttons on the machine unless you are using the joy xtra then you choose load and go on the bottom right of the design space screen. I promise you I did not edit any steps from this video at all except trying to duplicate which I spoke about why I cut that.
Question for ya... I designed a couple of pages of stickers in BETA using the new Create Stickers feature and was waiting to print and cut them when I have 4 or 5 more designs. I also had several 'disappearing' issues, like you mentioned in your tutorial. After watching your video, I tend to agree with your assessment. My question is, will I have an option to print those saved stickers from the 'real' version of Cricut, or will I have to rework them?
I’ve been fighting with it tonight to change my paper to letter size. DS is insisting it be legal. Very frustrating. Hopefully I’ll get it figured out lol!!
Update: after my stickers were designed on my windows computer, I had better luck using my iOS app to print them with less glitching and it had all materials available to choose from.
@@pixie.dust.parkhopper interesting the reason you have all the options on iOS is because they don’t have the create sticker function but it still keeps the stickers they way you designed them. I just looked. That’s an excellent way around this issue if you want to use your own settings! Thanks for sharing!
I have a cricut air 2 and so far I'm noticing my cut settings do not even have a holographic sticker paper setting....so none of the settings are cutting the stickers all the way through bc I add a laminate over my printed vinyl sticker paper (not cricit brand). It doesn't seem to matter what setting I choose, even when I edit the pressure in the settings. None of then will cut totally out. Very frustrating.
I have this same issue too. There doesn't seem to be a way to custom the product being cut, everything other than "compatible" is grayed out. I can get "kiss" cut to cut through the first layer as expected, but never a "die" cut to go all the way through, even if I cut twice. Are there any suggestions for this issue?
I have a video coming soon that may help a bit more with those cut lines but be sure you clean the sensor on your machine, try turning off your lights, but also try shining a flashlight on the machine while it reads. Many times it needs more light. Have you also tried calibration? And if so does it read those lines?
Hi there. Do you offer private Cricut design space assistance? I have never been so frustrated with something in my entire life as I am with this die cut sticker I'm trying to cut. I have probably wasted about $50 in supplies trying to get this sticker to work. Any help would be AMAZING
No I don’t. I offer easy to follow FREE classes right here on RUclips. I have tons of print then cut tutorials that will lead you through making your own stickers. Do not use the create sticker option.
This has pushed the all important "size" menu away and is now a pain to use for those of us who are not subscribers, not a fan. It's easy enough to create stickers for free without this anyway.

Such an exciting feature!!! 🎉❤ Thank you for going over this and sharing this!🫶
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! I needed this!
Looking forward to using this feature.
How would you adjust setting for adding laminate to stickers.
@@dottyearnhardt9600 you use a heavier setting. Do some test cuts to see what works best

You can print them normal using the app but in the software you need to use the create sticker option it won’t let you out of it once you created them
When you switch back over will you have to calibrate like when you use cut larger that
It doesn’t seem like it
Thank you
Could I ask what paper you were using
It’s holographic from here www.hayespaper.com/?ref=CORINNE
Oh my gosh so cool
I’ve been fighting with it tonight to change my paper to letter size. DS is insisting it be legal. Very frustrating. Hopefully I’ll get it figured out lol!!
It eventually worked. I wanted kiss cut and I used printable htv as the material and it turned out perfect.

Hi. I having trouble with this new feature. My Cricut doesn’t want to cut my sticker. It said that had an error processing mat. Can you help me?
Update design space. Clear your cache, and also try switching from beta to live or vice versa
I follow your directions and still telling me that is an error processing the design mat.
How would I go about adding words across the image I upload?
Type you words then flatten to the sticker

Cut twice. Don’t unload the mat just hit the cricut button again.

@@marmar8225 honestly I just test cut all the materials until I found one that kind of worked. It still wasn’t perfect
What is the difference between this feature and the offset feature?
This automatically flattens the offset but honestly that’s about it. Well it can also do the easy peel offset style
Eveytime I use it my machine want pick up the cut lines so I end up cutting bye hand

I want silhouette features for design and print and cut space. I’m not coming back to cricket without this happening.
Ok tried it the thin border is clearly uneven all around. What a waste of vinyl sticker paper. How do you get an even thin border all the way around?
By using a good quality image. Your border is uneven because your image is poor quality
Design space freezes on all my devices. And that is all the devices it could be tested on and yep it freezes periodically on all of them.
That’s really frustrating. Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling?
OUF !
Don’t think I will be using beta version. Do not like that. Hope they get bugs fixed
They will. They put it out and let us report the bugs so they can fix them :)
Where can I find “Create Sticker” in Design Space? I am not seeing it on the ribbon.
@@jennifertanaka8977 it’s all explained how to access it in the video
