Kayla, I have followed for a couple years now. Just wanted to say thanks for all your work. You are so very appreciated by so many. 😊
The little pieces with the offset has been driving me mad, thank you!
Great hacks Kayla! I already use 1 or 2 of them but the others were new to me! Thanks for always bringing us useful tips & info!
WOW...literally in 3 seconds by turning on your video, you hopped right to the issue i was having, getting rid of those extra little holes while using the OFFSET design and by using CONTOUR! YAY...Yippee! you did this quick and easily. THANK YOU SOOO MUCH!
I’m so glad!!! Using the contour button is the best hack for the offset!
So many great ideas! Once you know the concept, I can see how it can be applied in different ways! Thank you for such a good video!
Wonderful hacks - thank you! You are able to type in a number like .001 or -.001 instead of using the slider in Cricut Design. You can get very precise offsets this way. Again, great tutorials!!
That print then cut feature with digital papers is why I’d love a good quality printer. Takes projects to another level.
Oh Kayla thank you very good video. Can't wait to use some of these!!
Thank you for sharing this with us!
Thank you for a demonstration of the great uses of offset tool!

Wow! I am learning so much with your videos!
So fun!!!
I use the offset as a minus number to fill in letters and pictures to "colour in" with my pens when drawing on cricut explore air 2.
Fabulous tutorial!
Great ideas sure to try
Thank you ❤ I use the offset when I what to thicken a font, then weld it together.
It’s so nice to use it to thicken fonts! ❤
Nice! Very good ideas
Very cool thanks
This was so, so helpful, Kayla! Could you please do a follow up video to show wow what these would be like after cutting? Do these tips only work for Print then cut or with they work with cut & draw/write functions, too? Thank you!
This was crazy helpful!
I’m so glad!! ❤🥰
Great hacks, thank you!
Great tutorial! Tfs and God Bless 🥰 💜
Thank you!
Those are wonderful tips!! I have been trying so hard to use slice and it doesn't work for me.. so I am hoping to use your tips here to get it to work!! Love the name in the pumpkin!!!
Hi!! When using the slice tool you can only slice two layers at the same time so that might be why it’s not working. To work around that you can weld some layers together. I hope that helps! Thank you 😀🎃
Hi Kayla, I'm brand new at this, loved these hacks, thank you. It would be super to see you take these to the final product, that is, how you cut each layer - different cardstocks?
lots of great hacks tfs hugs
Awesome!! Didn’t know how to use this! As always, great job! If I could offer one comment…explaining the terminology “offset” what it means and what it actually does before demonstrating would be helpful. ❤
This is a Great video!! I love your channel!!
How do you write text in a wave pattern if that makes sense
These are great. Do you ever make bookmarks? I am new to the cricut world, and your videos have been the most helpful things I have found.
If you are using your Cricut to cut quilt blocks, doll clothes, baby clothes, or appliqué, you can use Offset to add seam allowance (positive offset) and draw stitching lines (negative offset with fabric marker) without having to do any math. Yay!!! #Quilting #Sewing
What happens if u use offset but pull it left so it's in the negatives.
What does that do?
Thank you so much! I love all of your tutorials! They are much appreciated 😊
I want to learn to do magnet print, do you have a video about magnet??
Those are great hacks although I wish you would have shown how this applies when actually cutting it with the Cricut.
Hi Kayla do you have any recommendations for larger print and cut for an image with words above and below the design? I would like to be one piece to be ironed on with Printable HTV. And in some cases there will be additional elements like balloons and a cupcake and writing. What do you recommend. Thank you!
Is there a way to fake an offset? Or make it clear? For example, when making stickers with print then cut. The printer will print the color of the offset, even when printing on clear sticker paper. It would be nice to have the offset so the stickers peal easier, but when there is a colored offset/background it kinda ruins the design. Any suggestions?
Hello, if you select the layer and the little eyeball next to it will hide it so it will not show up on your printed image.
My cricut design space doesnt have the offset area ....do i need to turn it on or something? 😢
I've been trying to work with off set for over 3 weeks I can't get it to work .I'm using my iPad.it keeps stalling like the internet is I working.ive tried everything
What to do if you can't chose contour. Mines is grayed out?
change to basic cut, contour, then change back to print and cut . Hope this helps :)
These are great hacks but for some reason the offset won’t work for me
OMG SAMEE!! DOD YOU FIND A SOLUTION?
My countour does not work
Kayla, I dont know if you can help me. Let me try to explain. When I do print then cut, EX: Baby It's Cold Outside - I want to print on printable vinyl htv, I want it to cut around the words as a whole, NOT around each individual word and/or letter, if this makes sense. I can't find anyone that can help me. I have been told, attach and flatten, use offset, put it on a shape and weld, I have tried everything but it never cuts correctly. Maybe it is impossible to do? This probably doesn't make any sense. Do you have a video for this? Please and thank you.
