Thank you for this video. I work in Canva pro lots for social media graphics. So new to Design Space. Getting frustrated a lot but now I know i can just take my designs from Canva to Design space. Grateful for your content.
These kind of videos normally are difficult to engage with and I fall asleep easily. However- this was so well done, kept my attention the whole time and made clear sense of each step. Love this ❤
Me too! I have narcolepsy with cataplexy (so basically dropping things and randomly passing out....my poor phone lol PTL I have a good screen protector) and Cricut tutorials usually make me fall asleep. This woman and tutorials by Auntie Tay are the only ppl I've been able to watch and not fall asleep.
My first day with Cricut, I have used Canva for years. Canva is so much easier to use than Cricut to create. I made a transparent ornament and uploaded it to Cricut. Canva is a dream.
Oh my life 😳 I use both all the time but I never knew you could use Canva in Cricut. This would make my life so much easier with my business. I struggle with font style
I was really hoping you would finish your video by importing an image with the words and you went on to how to get pro. You never showed how to save an image to import in cricut. Very disappointing.
This is such a great tip. I’m not very tech savvy. I’m somewhat new to design bundles and just recently heard about canva. I want to learn how to work with and print digital papers. This idea of using canva with text and then taking the project to design space does seems bit easier.
One of the things I like about DS is that I can manipulate text and offsets easier than I’ve found on Canva. I can easily change colors of the font and its offset and then change back if I don’t like it. On Canva the choice I have is to choose effects and the offset-like icon but then I can no longer change the color of my original text. I only started using Canva a week ago but I also have trouble printing my design out. By the time I’ve downloaded it to my printing software the size is now different and even though I change it on the printing software it does not print to the size I need. I would appreciate any tips you have for these issues I have. The only reason I am forcing myself to use Canva is due to DS’s print size limitation as I want to print tumbler wraps. Otherwise DS works great for me. Thank you!
Great video, especially for stressing on the legal side of things. I see so many videos advising people, who just started with (e..g.) an etsy shop to use canva free, but never mention to tell, that they might not be legally allowed to use it. (Also those people who advice to buy a cricut to start a sticker business, without saying, that you are only allowed to sell 10.000 item you produced anually. One sticker on every sheet being one item.
Thanks for the video. I’ve created an arched invitation on Canva & downloaded it, but am only able to choose Print & Cut. Is there a way to have Cricut use the pen for the verbiage & then cut it into the arch? I’m only able to cut it.
I love this idea of using Canva with Cricut, but what do you mean about using the commercial usage in Canva? Or better yet how would you know if you want to use the design or image for something you created?
Becky, Thank you for doing this video. I’m, for sure, not a Canva expert. But, I’ve been wondering how to do exactly what you explained. I appreciate this so much!! TFS
Can you please show us how to use Sihlouette Studio with Cricut machines? Also, is there a way to download the Canva program or do you have to use it online?
Hey Patty! I do have a great video on using Silhouette Studio with Cricut Design Space, I'll link it for you down below. Also, I believe Canva is a web-based system. Hope this helps! ---Becky ruclips.net/video/U_aXLOZ1D1Q/видео.html
Hello, This is probably a simply task but I tried to google it and came up with nothing. Between time 6:30-6:40 you did something to make all the different text box (layered words) sync together to move as wine to ensure straightness I am assuming. How did you do that? I’ve googled as well as turned the video speed down to .25 and am still missing how you did that. It would help me a lot as a beginner! For keeping things straight that are layered. Thanks!

It depends, you can definitely print your design out onto blue cardstock and then it would waste less ink, or you could add a blue background and print onto white cardstock.

I created an svg through canva with 3 layers but when I upload it to cricut design space its not aligned on top of eachother and doesn't upload as pictured. How can I lock the svg so it uploads aligned? Thank you!
Hi Joann! Unfortunately, you can't download the file as an SVG through Canva unless you have the Pro version. With the free version, first download the file as an PNG. Once the PNG file is uploaded to Cricut, click the left side of the screen which says "Save as Cut". Let us know if you are having any troubles or if the wording still isn't looking correct for you. - Dawn 😍
So you never actually printed the sticker… if you did you would have every single letter cut out individually in cricut by not having them tied together with a background. Great for htv type products but not for stickers with only words.. do you have an offset cheat for words in Canva?
Hi !! I"m a super dooper new cricut user - so new that it's just arrived in the box. When I upload an image that I perfected in Canvas and pull it over to cricut design space it loses the original color and clarity. Any tips on that? Thank you so much!

it doesn't work like she says i habe a cricut maker and still the words r not enough properly clear the background affect the words and s impossible to cut or draw i needed to upgrade my canva app for a trial :(
Hi there! We apologize for any confusion. Could it be the font choice as well? If you can, send an email into mail@designbundles.net and we would be happy to help get this sorted for you! - Dawn 🙂
I like to upload png's or jpeg's that I buy off of Etsy, or get for free from places like pngtree and make them into things like stickers, magnets, etc. I only give them as gifts. I need a program that I can manipulate fonts to put them into the picture I am creating, and then attach and flatten them. I have a cricut maker and it doesn't use space well on paper, it is wasteful for sure, and you can't seem to be able to print anything very big. I make my business cards, and it will only print and cut 4 of them on a full sheet of 8.5 x 11 cardstock. I want to make pretty 8.5 x 11 designs to frame as gifts, but I can't print them on design space. I am looking for a program I can use that will do all of that. An example is, I have a png of a cute truck with sunflowers in it. I want to add text and a couple of other things like a license plate I design for the front, and then be able to print it out in landscape so it can be matted and framed. What type of design tools can I purchase or get for free that I can do that with. I wish I could take what I design on Cricut design space and transfer it to a document and then print it. Is that possible? Anyway, any thoughts on this would be helpful. I did subscribe and I also bookmarked your website. I learned about it today from someone in Angela Kerr's FB group. Thanks.

I thought there was a free way to use it. I wouldn't let me print without signing up. Are you telling people its free to use in order to print when it isn't?
Thanks for the video. I’ve created an arched invitation on Canva & downloaded it, but am only able to choose Print & Cut. Is there a way to have Cricut use the pen for the verbiage & then cut it into the arch? I’m only able to cut it.

You will want to read Canva's licensing terms of use.
Where do we go to find out about the commercial useage? I'm interested in creating sticker kits. Thanks! ~ Stephanie
Hey Stephanie! Great question! If you are using products from DesignBundles.net, you can find more information here: designbundles.net/license
If you are using designs from Canva, I would check out this page or reach out to their customer service: www.canva.com/pro/
Hope this helps! ---Becky
Can you mirror on Canva pro?
Hey Jan! you sure can, Canva has a lot of great features. Hope this helps! ---Becky
I had an issue uploading into cricut, some of the image was missing. Not sure what happened. I need help!!!!!
Hi Mandy! There must be a bug with Cricut because we were noticing the same thing the past few days! If you can, see if there is an update available for your Cricut DS and let us know if the troubles are continuing!
@@DesignBundles ok thank you for responding!!!!! I’ll check into it

It is a website.
Is canva free for commercial use?
Hey Christina, I don't believe so, I would check into their monthly subscription, I think that is where commercial usage is unlocked. Hope this helps! ---Becky
Can You Shadow fonts in canva??
That is an excellent question and I honestly don't know yet LOL. I will be adding more tutorials for Canva as I learn along with you guys. Sorry I can't be more help. ---Becky

i needed to upgrade my canva app
for a trial :(
Hi there! We apologize for any confusion. Could it be the font choice as well? If you can, send an email into mail@designbundles.net and we would be happy to help get this sorted for you! - Dawn 🙂
I googled how to print a desing on canva and this video came but it has nothing to do with it! lost 13 minutes!
Thanks.

I really wanted her to finish with actually making the cut or draw… that’s where my difficulty lies with uploading from canva!
I have put your comment on our content list!

I thought there was a free way to use it. I wouldn't let me print without signing up. Are you telling people its free to use in order to print when it isn't?
Canva is free, but there are some paid upgrades. You should be able to save the file and print from your computer without paying for an upgrade.
$12.99 plus tax is the pro subscription
Thank you for the information!
I thought circuit design 😂😂
Thanks for watching! - Brittany
The title of this video is very misleading. It’s a Canva tutorial. No cricut content at all.
Next time, tell us how to actually use it with Cricut instead of this being a “how to use Canva” waste of time.
Useless demo actually
Thanks for the video. I’ve created an arched invitation on Canva & downloaded it, but am only able to choose Print & Cut. Is there a way to have Cricut use the pen for the verbiage & then cut it into the arch? I’m only able to cut it.
Thanks so much!!!
