OMG! $149.00!?!?! Before I really got a handle on my Cricut, my niece and I took a "painting class" and my niece and I got to choose from a selection of designs. They used a cutting machine to cut our designs out of vinyl and we were given pieces of wood that we stained, distressed with tools, applied our vinyl as a template and painted... While my sign is PRICELESS to me, I certainly didn't pay $150! My "You will Forever be my Always" hangs perfectly over our king size bed! Now, if I can just figure out how to upload my picture... Since taking that class, I am learning more and more to do with "my intimidator"... THANK YOU MICHAEL!

Thank you so much! This was so clear and understandable. I have a TBI and believe it or not I bought a Cricut as therapy (my insurance didn't cover any if the therapies needed to help my brain). Everything I do is such a struggle with it, but I won't give up. A single simple card takes me an entire day to get right. So I wanted to make a large sign, but couldn't figure out for the life of me how to split it up on to separate mats. This was perfect and I could follow it! Feeling like a little "win" today. Thank you.

143vinyl is amazing! I so need to get the medium tack transfer tape. I have a huge problem with Cricut transfer. @DesignBundles is a great source for ALL images!
I like to rotate large words 90 degrees and cut them so I don't have to piece them together. That way sometimes you can also fit more words on a sheet with less vinyl waste. Trade off is that you have to position the words manually at the end.

Hi Michael!! Have you thought about using both sides making two different signs? I don't know about you but I like to change things up sometimes. I thought maybe I would make the suggestion that way you get two for one :) I love deals!!
I just love how you explain everything I’m new to Cricut Maker and I was trying to slice today but couldn’t get the hang of it so I gave up I couldn’t figure it out but I’ll try again tomorrow thank You for such awesome videos 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
The key to the “slice” tool is making sure you only have 2 layers selected. It won’t work if you have one layer and it won’t work if you have 3 or more. The reason I had to weld my SVG cut file was to make sure it was one solid layer instead of 4. That way I could slice it into 3 different parts. 😊

Great vid! Watcher's might consider weeding off the mat instead of pulling the vinyl from the mat and then weed. Just something to try❤️
