Hi mate, I got the kit on my 2019 Audi S3 Saloon, I was woken up last night with the sound of my engine starting then cutting out.. by the time I got downstairs the car was off the drive and parked in the middle of the road, the thieves jumped into another car and sped off they silently popped the back door lock and took the keys whilst we were asleep however they were unable to start the car must have attempted 3-4 times before realising it had an immobiliser.. my car is still with me sat on my drive all thanks to the AutoGhost best investment I ever made and a true lifesaver!
shazad Hussain Hi mate It’s nice to hear they didn’t get your car 😓it’s hard to explain to people how important having a immobiliser is even taking the keys it’s impossible to take it these kind of immobilises are so good and well worth the money👍

Big business keyless theft (and preventing it). Suspect have to tell mechanic how to get it going if not servicing yourself. Curious if the abandoned RR SVR key worked. As main dealer would charge £400! If window smashed they've used software plugged into OBD to deactivate the alarm and grab the code to programme their blank remote. If they had grabbed code as owner walked away they shouldn't have needed to smash the window. Unless am wrong.
Resurwreck Autos UK best bet is them gone from ypur house asap.i say if they want it they will take it regardless so when your families at danger just let em.take it as most likely they will park it up somewhere to see few days later to see if it had tracker on and trackers are cheap as chips now
Lake Como these systems exist, remote shutdown, it’s probably the best and safest. NEVER ever advertise the fact that you have a security system that requires YOU to deactivate

In my country, it's illegal to own a car without a PIN or something to identify you in every time you want to turn your engine and drive, even if the car is broken, you can't move the car one cm without a PIN, it's very useful and very safe system👍
The secret of fitting a Ghost product or any other immobilisers is to fit them in a place that is not easily found. A lot of non professional installers will just do a quick job with a ghost as it only needs to connect to a canbus circuit on the vehicle, a easy place to find the wires you need…… OBD The very first place a thief will look OBD

Stop / Start doesn't affect the GHOST-II Immobiliser at all, I had one fitted yesterday and it's so reassuring knowing having this top security feature in my car...

So I’m wondering if a car that has that, you stop at a set of lights and the engine stops, do you have to go through the coded sequence to re-start the car? Hi Mike it doesn’t have stop ✋ start so I don’t know about that but put it in google it might tell you and I don’t think it has any impact on warranty you can always message the company well worth it 👍👍

@@ResurwreckAutosUK You only need to disable the ghost if you you press the stop start button and stop the engine yourself - It doesn't need you to disarm after a stop at the lights. Warranrty is a grey area, but you can put it in valet mode when you go the dealer so they may not even know.

@@mikew742 Was the Ghost thankfuly - Had several revisits from installers then finally got one that rolled the firmware back to an older version and all sorted - Apparently there are issues with newer firmware on BMW M series.
Hello mate, just fitted our q5 2018 3.0 litre. Since getting it fitted the car sounds a little louder also when I put foot on down the gas pedal it doesn’t speed like before
@@muhammeddemir9694 I'd be very surprised if a ghost would cause this, what happens if you put it in valet mode? Maybe they reset your vehicle settings and you now have fake noise coming from the speakers (Active Sound Design - not sure what it's called in Audi)...
Another deluded driver who has believed the lies the dealers have told them. This system is not approved by Thacham the only UK testing centre and there are lots of other devices that do better jobs, that are. These devices have now been found to have weakness and are exploited by the thieves. Get an approved system ONLY.

BUT I have been in the vehicle security industry for over 30 years and I promise you it is not anywhere near good enough in the real world where the thieves carry laptops and have your car sold before they come and take it off your drive also you can get a better approved system cheaper. One that really works.

Resurwreck Autos UK Yes, as long as your new car is on the list of vehicles covered you can indeed move it from one vehicle to the next. When you get the new vehicle an installer will have to program your unit with the new vehicles Canbus configuration and you will be “protected” again. FYI you can also move all other systems.
As a matter of full disclosure I am approved to install the Autowatch Ghost and like the company, but there is systems that give better protection for less money.... with full Approval.

You still need a tracker. They can still Tow your car away still .

Hi alex sorry I forgot to say they is a valet mode you can put the car in and I will have to find out about rr svr what exactly happened
Think window got smashed to get in and tried to connect to the obd port but car wouldn't start because of his autowatch immobiliser
Its all good till the thieves come back in and make you disable it!

The stickers aren’t a good idea btw. It only tells the thief to put a knife to your neck to give up ‘the code’

Jase I tried it on the service mode nothing changed. Engine is just louder, less response.
