Really appreicate your full length videos. I work as a caretaker which involves fixing locks and doors that are jammed among other things. I find locksmithing really interesting and have learned a lot. Keep posting and I'll keep watching.
Stop picking on this man his health ant are business the audio could of been better but with no audio I can see what he was doing and he cleaned up nice when finished nice job
Properly locksmith! I dont bother taking gearboxes appart i just replace them with new... i had one last week that was so nackered i had to pull the hindge pins and release the door from the hindge side... i then removed the door from the frame and replaced the entire gearbox and lock strip and when i went to the supllier i picked up a new handle set of the customer's colour choice ... job was a gooden
@danielwilson1989 it's a fitness thing to I had a mountain bike accident in 2020 and was off work for 6 months, and have never really got back on the bike, so I need to do some fitness stuff to get back in shape, thank you for your concern 👍
After having weighed up that the door was jammed and unable to be opened, i would have used the old method of sorting this problem and taped a hand grenade to the door handle, pulled the pin, and run like bloody crazy. I find this little trick always sorts the problem and gives the customer access to their home in just a few short minutes. Uncle Bob the old Forces Locksmith.
@Popeyes66 since I got Covid, my breathing has been bad, I have 2 different pumps to take, one I have to take every day, and the other only I'd it gets worse. 👍
@@ActiveLockCentre no - seriously its on the plastic of the door about an inch under the grey spade thing, it appears when you push with the spade, in HD you can even see it form as you push, its clear in the video, I am not having a go at you but you did damage their door
are you serious, doing it like this when you gotacces to indoors? 😳 man go back to lock school and ditch the impact driver.... sorry mate but this is school boy stuff
@peteb3365 I thought the mechanism had failed so doing it from the outside, with the souber spreader kit is the best option as trying to open a door inwards that had failed would be harder, and there is nothing wrong with using a impact driver if you know how to use it, we all have different ways of doing jobs and as long as you get a good result that doesn't impact on the customers pocket, it's a result in my eyes.
......you’re wrong mate...locksmiths earn a fortune from desperate house owners....they charge an extortionate fee for just being called out...and nine times out of ten the job is done in minutes.....I know because as a house maintenance worker ...gaining access to property and fitting new locks was part of my job....it’s easy when you know how...
I have had worse breathing problems since I had Covid, and I am asthmatic anyway.
Darth Vader ain't got nothing on me 😂🤣
Same here, great video.

But you know I'll still do it again 🤣
Fascinating thanks👍
Glad you enjoyed it 👍
Great work pal 👍 Which Milwaukee tote bag do you have, and how much did you pay for it. Thanks
@tonywindle9929 it is the 40cm bag, I think it was about £120, with black Friday coming up. I'm sure you can get a good deal
Nice to see skills in action, unlike some of the comments...from the "special" branch
I appreciate that! 👍
So did you charge for the time it took you to do the job as you didnt need to take the mechanism apart.
The mechanism did need to come apart to fix it, plus a quote for jobs I don't charge by the hour. 👍

Another great video, always learn something from your videos. 👍
Glad to hear it! 👍
You did not drink your tea! 😁
I always drink my tea 😂
How much did that cost ?
Just the labour
Can someone please give this man some oxygen
I have had worse breathing problems since I had Covid.
Mate usually if there are long handles, just take the habdle off and use the good spindle and door opens, handles are cheap, good luck.
@LinoLaddr yes I know, I had access to both sides of the door, and that's why it's a school boy error 👍
Top hook was stuck in locked position, bottom hook was inside.
It was the cam that had broken it didn't have the twist that I think you're talking about
Great video thank you but please do get your chest looked at.🙏

Thank you 👍
That car was a rover SDI
Had one years ago
Was it a good car?
Those failed GUs will pop open with a good push down on the handle usually.
Yes the GU does but unfortunately the mellenco won't 😭
Nice old school Proper job
Thank you 👍
Have you ever locked your own keys in the van? 😀
Oh, I most certainly have, and I had to get a locksmith friend out to the rescue 😂
@ActiveLockCentre nice one 🙃
Very poor audio. Your mic sounds like it’s underwater. Can’t understand half of what you’re saying
Sorry about that 😕
Good video Best thing is customer wasn't watching you 👍
Very true 👍
What was the problem?
One of the cams broken on the mechanism, so I swapped them over.
very good like your drill
Thanks 👍
Interesting
Thank you
Haha…remove that handle !. You’ll still forget sometime but as long as you got there in the end. Good result everyone’s happy.
Oh yes, we do try to learn from our mistakes, but sometimes we forget 🤪
Can’t understand what your saying sadly
Maybe next time
Sound quality terrible - your muffled OR heavy breathing and mumbling - otherwise good video
Unfortunately, I don't have the hardware or software to make good audio 😕
What the hell is he saying 😂
Thanks for your feedback

@davidhayes5156 I love it. Where can I get the grenade from. It would have been quicker 😂
like it 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@t5jerry great idea 😂
You sounded like you were dying doing that job.
Are you ok mate ?
@Popeyes66 since I got Covid, my breathing has been bad, I have 2 different pumps to take, one I have to take every day, and the other only I'd it gets worse. 👍
Kin Chinese !!!
lol. He sounds exhausted without doing anything. Impressive.
get a lock pick, lock picking lawyer would have been in there in ten seconds
😂🤣😂
anyone else notice he cracked the plastic of the door at 1:55 just below where he put the spade thing
You must need glasses as there was no crack I made in the plastic 🧐

If they had fitted the door properly you shouldn't be able to bow it like that, especially if its been properly reinforced
With the souber spreader kit, you can get a relay good spread most of the time.
Abandoned this video after 3 minutes because I couldn't tell a word you were saying. You were not speaking clearly at all.
@truthseeker7794 Sorry about that. I will see what I can do.
All I can hear is his breathing. Out of breath from doing nothing. Poor England. Fought for to be lost.

Seriously you don't earn a lot of money in your job, that's a pathetic amount of time to get into a pvc door, ever heard of a snapper bar.
@PMJ4 just goes to show your knowledge isn't quite there yet
