  • While the customer made the best effort to try and get in themselves, nothing beats the skills of a locksmith, with no damage to the lock or.the door, the customer got there key from inside and it still works.

    Did you not think about fishing through the letterbox with a magnet? 2 minutes work!

    • @ActiveLockCentre
      @ActiveLockCentre  24 дня назад +1

      No, as the customer said, they already tried it with a magnet so.it seamed pointless. 👍

    LPL would probably have picked that in a minute or less. But thats doing it in a vice on the bench inside, not outside in the cold on a door with things getting in the way

    I think turning the lock left is locking I didn't really understand how you opened the lock.
    Any way most customers usually expect us locksmith to open locks within seconds just like what they see in the movies
    but in reality that's not true especially if it's a high quality lock cylinder.

      I turned it to engage the cam with the cut down key once it engaged, then turned it to unlock 👍

    Good work working through the options. Would a plug spinner have helped, especially once you got the pins above the shear line?

    • @ActiveLockCentre
      @ActiveLockCentre  20 дней назад +2

      I would have used a plug spinner, but I needed to engage the cam as it had a thumb turn on it. 👍

    I would have sent my bent rod in with borescope and hooked them, but dont worry about the haters, you got the job done, i learnt by making my own tool and practice, practice, also dont overcharge, many happy customers and charge a third less it shouldn't cost more than eighty squid 👍.
    And i do it for less for vulnerable people and cash strapped.

      You need more practice before starting making videos my friend… it doesn’t take that time.

    • @ActiveLockCentre
      @ActiveLockCentre  2 дня назад +1

      @yousryakl6157 if you talking about getting into a property, I like to try different methods all the time and that's what I'm showing, some jobs I open doors in under 1 second, so I would suggest to look at some of my other videos before making a comment like that, this is real life not just the sugar coated videos.

    You could do with a little fold out table to put all of your stuff on. I use a hop up step.

      @ssql wow, and you are incredibly narrow-minded. If you think that was near-failure, you must be soooo good at every job you do, with no problems because you're so skilled. Let's see some of your jobs then, oh and don't just put up the jobs that look good!!!
