The remote start warms your engine on cold mornings and gets your vehicle ready to drive as you approach. This excellent feature works while keeping the car doors locked and the alarm armed. Your vehicle is fully protected as any entry will trigger the alarm siren and cut the engine dead.
The unique tag is a feature included on all Pandora car alarms and provides an extra layer of security. This tag must be present to drive the car and is unique to that individual alarm device. You can use the Bluetooth App to see how many tags are programmed to your alarm and if they can be seen by the alarm system.
Anti-Hijack protects from aggressive car theft should you be pulled out of the car. This optional extra once switched on, works by cutting the engine dead if the unique tag is no longer present. The thief will be able to drive off and after a minute the anti-hijack will kick-in bringing the vehicle to a complete stop. This happens after a short period of time allowing the car owner to gain safety before the thief realises the car is going to be immobilised. This is an excellent feature for desirable cars, although not Insurance approved.
The online services are only available to the Pandora Smart Pro and Elite car alarms. This gives full GPS of the vehicle and detailed event history. There is a dedicated App, as well as the simpler Bluetooth App that gives a full list of options. Click on events to see more details of time and place and select individual cars where necessary.
From a desktop browser more online services are available, allowing you to go further back in event history. You can also start the engine from these Apps if remote start is fitted.
The online services effectively gives a fleet management system with the added bonus of knowing all your vehicles are protected with the excellent Pandora Smart Pro car alarms.

So if anti hijack isn’t insurance/Thatcham approved, does that mean your entire alarm system is no longer insurance approved? If so, how can it ever be viable to have anti hijack installed?

Remote start and wireless engine cut off should be included but I have to pay extra for it

I often going abroad and if someone stole my wallet (and dongle is in it ) and what we do then ??? 🤔 it happens before.....in Germany I was....

Hi I have one these I’m uk based when I set alarm off with say drivers door open it notifies me as passenger door when the dealer tried to change it it then shows it differently on the screen where as If leave the setting as they are it shows the correct door on the screen but just alerts it as a passenger door there saying it because where they are made

Hi, the car is still locked without the keys. Range Rover / Landrovers, Ford etc are starting to do remote start on their new vehicles for the UK market.

The anti-hijack presentation is nice, but in real world, if someone throw you out of your car, all your stuff will remain in the car, so if the unique tag isn't in your pocket, you lost your car. In real world, the tag probably would be attached to the car keys, or in case you have more cars with Pandora system, you will attach the tag to your house keys. So with a 99 % probability, the tag will remain in the car.

I keep my tag on my person at all times, it defeats the object of having a tag if you keep it on a keyring with the rest of your keys or just leave it in the car, why make it easy for scum bags?

No you ring the immobilizer number and input a pin which shuts off the car.
