I like to do the install into my 2003 Hyundai Tiburon GT v6 6-speed i have the clutch pedal wired where i don't need to step on the clutch pedal with just a turn of the key in the ignition as long as i made sure the trans is parked in neutral.
All that is great but does it do the most important thing? Next to useless if it doesnt have motion detectors around and under the vehicle that silently alert on the cell phone.

I called a local stereo shop and they quoted $500 for install and Best Buy is charging $239.00 to install the alarm and the engine starter. I won't have the lock actuators but that is okay. Since the gps is part of the alarm doesn’t it make it easy for a professional thief to disconnect the gps? My alarm control died one day while i was out in the mountains and i had to call a friend to tell me how to literally steal my own car. He he had me reach under the dash and look for a black box and told me to rip it out and i was able to drive home . And this was back in the pay phone days . Would it be that easy for a criminal to disconnect the gps ?
totljag1 I based on other systems I know you would have to take some extra precautions and make sure the car isn't in gear before you engage remote start. I would believe the system bypasses the clutch safety switch and start the car w/o clutch depressed. Again you would have to sure the car isn't in gear other wise it'll jump off and go hahaha, but I'm pretty sure the system has a safety precaution to check if car is in gear somehow.

Get the Viper DS4 and Smart Start VSM550 and also you will need more modules for glass breakage and windows. Locks and trunk may require relays
It will work with manual transmission also you don’t need to bypass the clutch because it has both options auto and manual transmission

onecrazywheel if you have a micky Shorr they will install the starter for 30. ABC Warehouse also does install should be less then 100
