I don't know how you don't have more subs, man. Just found your channel and you seem like a chill dude. You're right about the panthers being underappreciated. I'll always own at least one panther. My 13 tacoma v6 prerunner is awesome and durable, but i can get literally 5 decent panthers for the value of the toyota.
My 2004 has brackets and bolts that secure the alternator in those top bolt holes. I recommend them to properly secure it, especially with the belt pulling in it.

It doesnt come with airbags, does yours? Today I will replace my alternator it just wont charge the battery and was making a whining noise. How did you extend the wire? what wire or kit did you use? The owner or mechanic before me ran the wire the wrong way. So I just pulled it back the right route. Also, If you are wanting more power and quicker response from the lincoln. Let me know.
Older in 2000 I drove a a 1977 Cadillac coupe Deville in high school course I was a senior and you’re talking about 2000 boy you don’t know what the mole cars used to ride like they were floating boats man you could dump on when they would get up and just run and you hit dips are bumps. It was probably overcharging the whole time and that’s why the alternator it was just running alternator supposed to cut in and out and it was probably running full blast the whole time that’s why your alternator got so hot and it burnt things up there again I don’t buy parts from AutoZone not Duncan parts. Anyway, the lifetime warranty ain’t worth doing it every two or three months.
You could have a short in burning it out ! You ck ck it by ck Amp Draw and see if that alternator start heating up to just like you put your hand on the other one it was about 600° she said when you crank it up see how long before this one start heating up!
Should have heat sink the rat over that I don’t like seeing it bear like that I understand you brought the plastic off but it keeps things from doing crazy things just because some people are stupid because you seem to know what you’re doing putting your own alternator on so I pray that everything works out for you and that it was in the alternator. Looks like you're missing the upper alternator bracket on the Lincoln. Without it, it could cause unnecessary vibrations. Your Crown Victoria has it.

Mines was putting out to many volts the shop say then call back and say it was the battery
