    The second one (Sandy Springs) I liked the room. and it had the nicest reception But I don't know the rest seemed miserable.

    Sandy Spring Hotel... my no.1 landing spot in Pattaya... I start here most trips, and then move down to Jomtien...I absolutely love this area... Good breakfast place on the next block.... Some rooms even have bathtubs!!! Staying here in 2025.... Thanks for making me homesick for Pattaya!!! 😄😄😄😄

      I really like this area too, so many nice food options and easy access to the baht bus system to head North on 2nd road plus Soi Buakhao an easy walk away to access that nightlife area. Plus it is also an easy walk to the Jomtien baht bus too

    Thank you so much for your time and effort. Your videos are awesome and always spot on.
    I appreciate everything you do !❤ --To the commenters :
    Many of you are always bitching and complaining about the lady at the front desk not having a positive attitude . If this person did this on two or three occasions, then you have something to complain about. What happens if when he went in there to do the hotel review 🤷‍♂️she just found out that her son or daughter or husband has cancer? You’re going to judge her on one time meeting her? Many of you are pathetic😂

    Thank you for your review.
    Most enjoyable
    I stayed at the AA, during the International Fireworks Festival.
    They estimated the crowd numbered
    400,000.
    Rooms were few and far between and of course the cost increased for the Friday and Saturday nights .

    Peak high season markups are brutal. Those all look like $25 rooms in old hotels, one with a great rooftop pool and sea view though.

    I stayed at the AA Hotel in Nov 2024. The hotel only gives 1 bath towel. No hand towel or wash towel are offered. The pool area on the 4th floor is nice, but small. It easily gets over crowded. No safes in the room, but deposit boxes at reception. It is at the corner of Beach Rd. Crossing Beach Rd. from the hotel, there are beach chair vendors and a roped off swimming area. I paid 1000 Baht per night. At 1500 Baht it is no bargain.

    Why do vloggers show Agoda prices "before tax and fees" and find it cheaper than the rates at the desk which usually are final prices!? Agoda before tax and fees means that you have to add 17%!

    • @BuyOneGetOneFree
      @BuyOneGetOneFree 8 дней назад

      It has always puzzled me why the Thailand vloggers insist on pushing Agoda with their misleading 'before tax and fees' pricing. It invariably ends up dearer than you can book direct with the hotel. There are other online hotel booking sites that are always cheaper than Agoda anyway. I haven't found a good deal on Agoda in 20 years...!

      They have a strange way of doing things in Thailand. I've turned up without booking asked at reception. They always say go book on agoda give me the booking number and I'll check you in . Never understand why they don't match the price because they have pay commission.

    I've not heard of AA Hotel before but it looks nice, and wow that rooftop view is great! Nice location right in the middle of everything too. Sandy Spring hotel looks decent too. Not as much a fan Inn House. Thanks for the video

    I would be interested in seeing a few places farther away from the ocean, and also at Jomtien Beach. I have been to Pattaya before (twice) as I'll be staying there for at least 2 months to get some more dental work done. The lower the price the better!

    Hey thanks so much for this video. I have inn house booked for 19 nights through the new year. I am paying 26,100 (standard room and apparently they don’t have a safe) for 19 nights. Based on this video, I am not feeling great about my decision. Would you recommend I keep my booking or do you have another hotel you could recommend I book?
    Thank you!! Love the videos, was delighted when I seen this

      @@nickjones8867 I stay between May-Nov. Even in Feb they try charging high season prices. They hotel I stay at is normally $30aud. And that's all it's worth. But high season they charge $100aud. Yeah stuff that! Really adds up when you stay for a month.

      For the AA Hotel, I did notice a parking area for motorbikes. The WiFi was poor in my room that was a corner room at the end of the hall. WiFi was fast in the lobby. It is quiet. No bars next to the hotel.

    Interesting, why would booking through Agoda be cheaper? Why wouldn't booking and paying directly at the counter be cheaper?

    • @BuyOneGetOneFree
      @BuyOneGetOneFree 8 дней назад +1

      The Agoda price shown on the video excludes 'tax and fees' so is not the final price. Totally misleading. Agoda is definitely not the cheapest online booking platform and I have no idea why vloggers insist on pushing it...!

    • @clrodrick
      @clrodrick 8 дней назад

      Keep in mind Agoda adds upwards of 20% in fees/taxes to their final price so in reality the prices are about the same

    • @socialmoravec
      @socialmoravec 8 дней назад +1

      @clrodrick Exactly, but in this case Agoda is cheaper than the price someone pays as a walk up and pays at reception. Doesn't make sense.
